"You're freaking me out Jimin why do we need to go all the way up here to talk?" Seokjin questioned the blonde boy as he nervously lead him upstairs to Jungkook's bedroom, "I needed to talk to you away from everyone else."

They sat on the edge of the alpha's bed and Jin looked around the unfamiliar room curiously, "are you sure Jungkook would be okay with us being in here?" The beta was wringing his hands anxiously, looking to the door feeling paranoid.

"Chill out Hyung- look this is important... I want to talk to you about Namjoon-Ah." Jimin spoke softly, looking into Jin's eyes to gauge his reaction, "Namjoon? Why would you want to talk to me about Namjoon..." he gulped thickly and Jimin smiled softly.

"I know you have feelings for him Hyung." He grinned and Jin flushed red, bringing his hands up in protest, "no I don't, he's your boyfriend Jimin I wouldn't-" the omega grabbed his hands and lowered them, cutting him off mid-sentence.

"You liked him before we got together, and I'm sorry for doing that to you Jin-Hyung I really am..." he mumbled apologetically and the beta frowned, "well... why are you saying all this then? If you already knew and went behind my back anyway then what's this for- to rub it in my face?" He was getting upset and he pulled his hands out of Jimin's grasp.

"No Hyung! Of course not! Namjoon and I aren't together- technically we never were." The shorter boy rushed to explain, already feeling scared Jin was going to hate him. However at this confession the older was getting ready to leave the room.

"You're not making any sense Jimin please just explain." He sat up straighter and focussed on the omega who had now stood off the bed, "okay so- I was having some personal troubles, and Hoseok suggested I try and find a real man to make me happier. But I've never been good with commitment so I needed like a... a trial run I guess. So Namjoon agreed to be in a fake relationship with me."

Jin sighed deeply and looked to the floor, "why would you choose Namjoon if you knew about how I felt." He mumbled, feeling betrayed by someone he thought he could call one of his best friends, "that's precisely why Hyung... I'm sorry I really went about it the wrong way but I thought that maybe if you thought you were losing your chance with Namjoon then you'd finally have the courage to confess to him!"

"How could I ever do that though Jimin!? I thought he was with you. I would never tell a taken guy that I had feelings for him, it wouldn't be right, especially when he seemed happy with one of my best friends." Jin defended and stood from the bed as he let his anger take over.

Jimin shrunk in on himself and felt tears brimming in his eyes, "I'm sorry Hyung... I don't know how to fix this, I really thought it would work... I thought that Namjoon would easily break up with me to be with you because you two seem so perfect together, but I fucked it all up." The small boy scolded himself as he slumped back onto the bed, tears slowly trickling down his cheeks as he sniffled.

"Jimin... I appreciate you were just trying to do good, I know you're not the type of person to meddle on purpose and knowing this was Hoseok's idea originally makes sense. But I am upset that you thought you could get involved in my love life and try and manipulate me into something I wasn't ready for. I knew I wanted to tell Namjoon about how I felt I just wasn't ready yet, but by the sounds of things it would be pointless now anyway, huh?" The beta sighed and sat beside the crying boy.

"I didn't think he'd fall for me Hyung I really didn't... I would have never done this if I even saw that as a possibility, I promise I'd never do that to you!" Jimin blabbed out between his cries and Jin wrapped him in his arms, stoking his back softly.

The beta was chewing on his lips to hold back his own tears, feeling his chest tightening as he realised the boy he'd fallen in love with may never feel the same.

A few moments later there was a knock at the door, "Uh, sorry to intrude but uh, Jimin... are you okay?" Jungkook's voice could be heard through the closed door and the omega sniffled again, "jeongukkie~" he whined and stood from the bed, Jungkook opening the door and immediately scooping the smaller boy into his arms. He knew he sensed something wrong from downstairs.

"Hey baby shhh~ what happened?" He questioned with a worried frown, holding Jimin's face in his hands and using his thumbs to wipe away his tears, "I'm such a fuck up kook-Ah, my plan backfired and I don't know what to do."

"Jimin honestly there isn't anything you can do anymore." Jin spoke from beside them both and Jungkook's eyes whipped round to him in panic, "Ah Seokjin!" He freaked out and released his grip on Jimin, not quite registering that Jin must've known about the plan.

"It's fine Jungkook I know Jimin isn't with Namjoon. Look Jiminie, I can't hate you for what you did because you're you- all you ever want is everyone else to be happy so I know it came from a good place. I'm not mad at you it's okay." Jin smiled softly and pulled the smaller boy into an embrace.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled again and the beta chuckled, "come on stop apologising, we should all just move on. Who knows, maybe Namjoon will need someone to confide in now he's all sappy with unreciprocated feelings- this might end up bringing us closer anyway Jimin-Ah." Jin tried to look on the bright side and Jimin smiled in appreciation.

"I hope so Hyung..." they stepped apart and Jungkook wrapped an arm round Jimin's waist, "let's go and wash your face and then get back down to the others, they'll be worrying." He smiled softly, placing a kiss to Jimin's temple.

"I always knew there was something going on with you two." Jin smiled and Jimin blushed, "well there kinda wasn't... until this morning." He mumbled in realisation and Jungkook laughed, "Hm a lot has happened today huh?"

"Well even if it wasn't official or anything, I could tell you had history and stuff, you've definitely felt this way about each other for a while." He stated matter-of-factly and the couple smiled sweetly at each other.

"Maybe, we were just too stubborn." Jungkook shrugged and Jimin nodded, "well I'll go back down then, what should I tell the others?" Jin asked and the omega sighed, "just tell them I'll be down to explain in a minute." And with that, the beta nodded and left the room.

"You're all red and puffy-eyed now, pabo." Jungkook teased and Jimin huffed, "I still feel so guilty Jagiya~" he whined and Jungkook gulped, eyes flicking between Jimin's sad shiny ones and briefly down to his pout that was still wobbling slightly.

"You're breathtaking baby... you know that?" He breathed and Jimin flushed, eyes widening and lips parting, "where did that come from..." he giggled bashfully but Jungkook just kept staring, "what? I need a reason to compliment you? It's just the truth." He shrugged.

Jimin smiled and looked down to the alpha's lips before stepping onto his tip-toes and closing the gap between them. Jungkook brushed his thumb across Jimin's jaw and held him close by his waist.

"I love you." He whispered against the older's lips and Jimin's heart stopped. His lips froze against Jungkook's and his eyes flickered open, when the younger realised Jimin had stopped kissing him he slowly pulled back with a confused frown.

"What...?" He whispered again and Jimin gulped thickly, "you actually said it..." Jimin mumbled, his heart rate increasing rapidly, thumping in his chest, "oh, what, that I love you?" Jungkook grinned but Jimin was trying not to freak out.

"I thought you kind of got that earlier when I practically assumed you loved me- I wasn't really thinking of course but... I dunno I just thought you would've known what that implied?" He gulped thickly, smile faltering when he realised how scared Jimin was all of a sudden.

"Hyung just because you don't feel that strongly right now doesn't mean I'm not ready to love you..." he continued, looking deeply into Jimin's eyes as they flicked around the floor, "I-I... I guess I just didn't really let myself believe it." He mumbled, before frowning and looking back up to Jungkook's eyes quizzically.

"You love me? Like actually really love me?" He checked, making Jungkook laugh a little, he pulled Jimin's chin up and kissed him softly, "I love you Jimin-Ah." He mimicked the tone Jimin had used before kissing his forehead.

The omega felt warmth spread through his chest and he sighed, "Love... why does it scare me so much?" He asked with a pout, looking guiltily into Jungkook's adoring eyes.

"I'm fine waiting until you really feel it Hyung, even just knowing you care about me and want to be with me- that's more than enough for now." He smiled and Jimin rolled his eyes, "when did you get so cheesy? But thank you for staying patient with me kook-Ah."

They kissed again briefly before Jungkook walked them to the bathroom, Jimin splashed his face with water and dabbed it away with a towel, "Hm, it's still pretty obvious you've been crying, what are you going to say to everyone?" The taller boy asked as he delicately caressed Jimin's rosy cheeks.

"Ugh It's my birthday, I'll just tell them I'll explain another time and that I just wanna sit and chat and enjoy my time with my friends on my birthday." He spoke with a stubborn pout and Jungkook laughed and nodded, "sure Jagiya."

Jimin's heart skipped a beat at the name, "Jagiya? You're so cute..." he cooed and it was Jungkook's turn to blush, "yah it just came out." He attempted to defend himself and Jimin giggled, kissing him one last time before they composed themselves and headed downstairs.

"What took you guys so long? Oh Jimin, are you okay?" Taehyung asked as they entered the room, the poor beta was actually the only one amongst them who had absolutely no clue as to what was going on.

Yoongi and Jin being the only two who knew the full story. "Ah I just wanna forget about it today..." Jimin mumbled and Hoseok frowned, "but Jiminie wouldn't it be better to just get everything off your chest so you can really spend the rest of today with no worries?" He questioned and placed a hand on his best friend's shoulder.

"Uh... I guess, but a lot of it isn't really important I guess." He mumbled and Jin shook his head, "just tell us what you can then." He gave Jimin a knowing look and the omega nodded, reassuring him that he wasn't going to mention his feelings for Namjoon.

"Okay well, for starters, Tae you're the only one who doesn't know this anymore, but Namjoon and I were never really together, don't worry about why that's not important. But uh now for you and Joonie as well I guess..." he continued, gesturing to Hoseok who then frowned.

He was wondering what had happened that he didn't know about but Jin, Jungkook and Yoongi did, "Jungkook and I... we're actually together." He mumbled and Namjoon stood up, "what!? For how long?" He questioned angrily and Jimin gasped.

"Namjoon-Ah! I-It was only today!" He frantically moved over to him and stroked his shoulders, "please don't hate me..." he mumbled and the alpha gulped thickly. "Ah... yeah I'm sorry, I can't really get mad can I?" He chuckled sadly, letting it click in his head that they were never together, Jimin didn't cheat on him.

"Don't apologise Hyung please. It's all me to blame I know I don't even deserve your friendship anymore but I really don't wanna lose you... any of you guys!" He started talking to Namjoon personally but then realised some of his other friends may have had an issue with what he'd done.

He'd only just got all his new friends, he didn't wanna have to go back to just Hoseok and Jungkook... he liked having this big group of people he could spend his time with and just have so much fun around.

"Jiminie don't cry." Taehyung suddenly spoke and Jimin realised his eyes were watering again, just thinking about losing his friends. The beta stood up and wrapped Jimin in his arms, "We're not gonna leave you just for this Jiminie everyone makes mistakes." Hoseok piped up and everyone else nodded.

"I know it doesn't really have anything to do with me, but if Jin and Namjoon forgive you then there's no need to continue to feel upset about it." Yoongi shrugged and the omega looked to the two most harmed by his plan.

"Why would Jin-Hyung be upset by your plan?" Namjoon questioned and Yoongi's face fell, he'd given it away... Jin blushed madly and shook his head, "I'm not there's no reason to be." He gulped and Namjoon frowned.

"Then why did Jimin need to take you upstairs and talk to you?" He pushed and Jimin started panicking, "I-It was about school! I needed help with studying but didn't want to ask you after everything." Jimin lied and Namjoon just sighed.

"Look if you don't want to tell me that's one thing but don't stand there and lie to me." He glared between the two lying boys until Jin sighed and placed a hand on the alpha's shoulder, "I didn't want to talk to you about it yet, Namjoon-Ah. But I promise I'll explain later." He was blushing as he spoke and Jimin couldn't help the small smile that replaced his panicked expression.

"So... you two huh?" Hoseok suddenly changed the subject, looking over to where Jungkook has his arms wrapped around Jimin's waist from behind, "Uh... yeah." Was the omega's weak response.

"I know I used to be dick to him Hoseok but I feel awful about all of that, I was just stubborn and stupid and scared, but I Uhm... I love him, a lot actually." Jungkook admitted sweetly and Jimin turned slightly to smile at him with rosy cheeks.

"Okay that's adorable you are approved." Hoseok had a hand to his chest as he dramatically cooed over the couple, "they're cute but it's weird don't you think?" Yoongi piped up, hoping someone would understand where he was coming from.

"Yeah I see it, the whole time I've known Jungkook those two have hated each other so it's shocking... but cute." Tae shrugged and Jimin remembered what he noticed earlier in the day, suddenly feeling guilty about Taehyung as well.

"This doesn't mean I love you any less TaeTae!" Jungkook reassured his best friend and the beta rolled his eyes, "I know pabo. Now can you two just kiss and we'll get on with the evening?" He asked like a schoolgirl wanting to see her idols kiss.

Jimin blushed and looked over to Namjoon, he smiled softly before looking away and sitting somewhere where the two wouldn't be in view. Jimin frowned sadly but his expression soon changed when Jungkook span him in his arms and tilted his chin up.

"You don't mind a little PDA right?" He checked and Jimin blushed, but shook his head all the same, the alpha leant down and connected their lips softly, only briefly introducing his tongue as to not get too hot and heavy in front of their friends.

When they pulled apart Taehyung squealed and clapped making everyone else laugh, "yeah okay, you two are definitely adorable, I'm a fan, and I call best man at the wedding!" He raised an eyebrow at Hoseok who gasped and shoved him, "no way! I'm Jimin's best friend!"

The two began arguing as Jimin giggled at them, "hey we can just have two best men, right Kookie?" He asked and Jungkook gasped at him, "you're saying you'd marry me?" He mumbled in excitement and Jimin's little grin faded as realisation struck him.

"Yah that's not what I meant! I wasn't thinking!" He defended and Jungkook laughed, "nope that's it I'm taking that, you're adorable Jagiya." He grinned that beautiful smile Jimin had grown to love so much, his bunny like teeth and the crinkles at the corners of his eyes...

"Says you." He retaliated and the alpha rolled his eyes, kissing him again softly before they were abruptly cut off by Yoongi shouting, "okay okay get a room! We're all single remember." He spoke with a pout just as Hoseok and Tae stopped chasing each other with pillows.

"Awh Yoongi-Hyung is lonelyyyy~" Taehyung teased and Jin had to stifle a laugh at the mint haired boy's expression, "yah... so are you!" He gestured to everyone else and Tae rolled his eyes, "Can we just play this dumb game."

"Hey, you said it was a good idea!"

"Thank you all so much for being here- I'm sorry it started out a little rocky but honestly this was the best birthday I've ever had, and it's because of all you guys." Jimin smiled sweetly, it was past midnight now and everyone was just deciding they should all probably head home.

Jungkook's parents had come home many hours earlier and briefly greeted the crazy group of boys before immediately heading up to bed- thankful that their house was big and fancy enough to be able to block out the noise from downstairs as they slept.

The birthday boy was sat in Jungkook's lap, the alpha almost falling asleep with his head resting on Jimin's shoulder from behind. They had all worn themselves out playing games, singing, dancing and just having so much fun.

"It wasn't even my birthday and this was the best birthday I've ever experienced." Taehyung laughed and Jimin rolled his eyes with a giggle, "well then we'll just have to make your next birthday even better." Hoseok spoke with a grin, his eyes shining softly as he looked at the beta.

"I'm glad I got to know you better." Jin gestured to Taehyung, "it's good to have another beta in the group." He continued with a slight embarrassed blush, "Ah yeah I get it, I'm happy to have been brought in by you all. I hope we stay friends for a long time." Taehyung smiled brightly.

"Okay enough with the sappy shit can we all go home now?" Yoongi mumbled and as everyone looked over they burst into laughter, jolting Jungkook awake at the sudden outburst of noise.

"What? What's funny?" Yoongi asked, blushing an even darker shade of red than what had made everyone laugh to begin with, "you can't pretend you don't care when you're with us Yoongi-Ah, your expression says it all, you love us and our sappy shit really~" Hoseok grinned and the mint haired boy rolled his eyes.

"Stop bullying me, I just wanna go to bed." He whined softly and hid his red face in his hands, Taehyung shuffled closer and wrapped his arms around the flustered alpha, not helping his situation at all.

"I'm with Hyung on this one... I'm tired too." Namjoon sighed and stretched, Jin smiling fondly at him, "mhm, we should get going?" He suggested to the alpha who nodded, returning the soft smile on Seokjin's face.

It seemed everyone had moved past all the drama, everything really was okay.

"Jiminie..." Jungkook mumbled practically against Jimin's ear, his eyes were closed again and it was obvious he was the most tired of the bunch, "Awh gukkie~ you sleepy?" He cooed and the brunette yawned as if on queue, before pouting and nodding against Jimin's shoulder.

"Okay, all of you- get out." Jimin spoke before laughing, "yeah yeah we're going, thanks for having us Jimin-Ah." Hoseok smiled at his best friend, hugging him as best he could while the omega was trapped in Jungkook's grasp.

"I would see you out but..." he mumbled apologetically before gesturing to Jungkook who was already snoring softly into Jimin's neck. "It's okay, see you tomorrow yeah?" Jin questioned, pulling sleepy Namjoon up with him as he stood.

"Ughhh It's school tomorrow..." Yoongi grumbled in realisation that it wasn't the weekend, "well technically it's school today." Taehyung raised an eyebrow, and the alpha glared at him, "ha ha very funny- that just makes me feel even worse..."

"Cheer up grumpy pants just sleep in class." Hoseok jabbed him in the side before grabbing Taehyung's hand, "You're driving us home right Hyung?" The beta turned and both he and Hoseok looked at Yoongi with big puppy eyes.

"Yah stop it you weirdos, yeah I'll drive you both home." He scrunched his nose up and wafted them both away. Jimin watched his friends leave with a fond smile on his lips, "bye Jiminie~" all five of them called as the reached the front door and Jimin sighed, feeling content, as he heard the door shut.

"Right come on you heffalump we've gotta get to bed." He huffed and gently pried Jungkook's arms away from his waist, the alpha let out a long whine in protest as his eyes fluttered open, "Wha... wherethothersgo...?" He mumbled almost incoherently as Jimin stood up.

His squinted eyes looking around the room in confusion, "they went home Guk-Ah. Come on, bed time." The small boy held out his hands and Jungkook pouted at him, grumbling before lazily reaching up to grab onto Jimin's hands.

The omega pulled gently but the muscular and very heavy boy was not helping at all, "kook you've gotta get up, I'm not strong enough to do it all myself." He giggled softly at how out of it Jungkook was.

"Hmm... wherewegoin?" He questioned as he very gradually pushed himself on his feet, "bed Kook, you wanna go to bed yeah?" Jimin spoke as though talking to a child and the usually big and intimidating alpha just nodded with his sleepy pout and shuffled closer, plonking his dead weight onto Jimin making him squeal.

"Yah! Jungkook I can't hold you up!" He panicked as he felt his legs buckling. Suddenly, Jungkook stood back up properly, frowning at the small boy before effortlessly sweeping him off his feet and practically throwing his body over his shoulder.

Jimin gripped the fabric on the back of his shirt as his face was abruptly met with Jungkook's butt, the alpha huffed before trudging out the room and up the stairs, "Jungkook put me down." Jimin whispered as they walked past the alpha's parents room, "bed." Was his curt response as he opened his bedroom door.

He walked in and leant forward, abruptly dropping Jimin down onto his back on the sheets. The tall boy stepped back and fumbled with his clothes, he managed to pull of his jeans and only tripped a little when kicking them off his ankles-

However, as he was pulling his shirt over his head he managed to get stuck, with a panicked whine he tugged hard on the material and Jimin couldn't help but giggle, "minnie Wha- whatshappnin!?" He grumbled as his chest started heaving in fear and Jimin placed a hand over his mouth to hide his laughter.

"Hey calm down stop freaking out Kook-Ah~" he cooed softly and Jungkook froze, arms above his head and shirt somehow tangled the wrong way between his limbs.

Jimin stood onto his top-toes and gently pried the material from Jungkook's body who then sighed in relief, "thnkyu" he mumbled, eyes closed again and plonking his head onto Jimin's shoulder.

"You're silly baby, come on- bed." He ordered still with a soft voice and Jungkook nodded before collapsing across the entire double bed, his breathing already evening out as though he'd fallen asleep the moment he hit the sheets.

The omega rolled his eyes and laughed breathily, taking off his jeans and trying his hardest to shove Jungkook onto his side of the double bed. He ripped the duvet out from underneath his mass of muscular body and huffed, now out of breath.

"Thanks for making this so easy Jungkook-Ah." He sighed sarcastically before slotting into the bed beside him, "yurwelcmm." He mumbled against the pillows and Jimin almost facepalmed.

"Goodnight Guk-Ah." He whispered, placing a gentle kiss to the younger's pouty lips, "luvyu..." the alpha breathed and Jimin blushed, feeling his heart swell at even the almost inaudible mumble of the sweet words.

Feeling the happiest he'd felt... probably ever... Jimin drifted off to sleep in Jungkook's arms.

Everything was fixed, it was all better, and he definitely hadn't forgotten something that was super important and he'd never once forgotten in his 19 years of life...

I actually like this chapter- guys like what? I never like anything I write... I'll probably reread this like tomorrow and decide I hate it but as of right now I think it's pretty darn adorable 😅🤷🏼‍♀️

I hope you liked it and haven't given up on waiting for me to update yet... I know I'm slow I'm tryingggg, I can't remember when I last updated this soooo I dunno how long it's been I kind of lose track and cause I Edit them a lot the time stamp changes 😅🤷🏼‍♀️
