Once school ended Jimin and his friends met in the car park outside; Namjoon, Yoongi and Jin all drove to school each day, Jimin did sometimes but his Eomma had driven him in that day- Tae and Hoseok had both walked.

Taehyung was too shy to go in anyone's car without Jimin- not knowing the others well enough yet, and Jimin had of course already decided to go with his boyfriend Namjoon. That left Hoseok to decide whether to squeeze in with the others, go with his close friend Seokjin, or to travel with Yoongi in hopes of getting a little closer to him.

He thought that maybe going with Jimin, Taehyung and Namjoon would give him and the newest little addition to their group a chance to bond, but he also wanted that bonding time with Yoongi- and didn't particularly want to leave Jin to drive by himself if he wanted a friend.

"Hobi, are you coming with me?" The beta asked and he smiled in response, "I can if you want, are you okay following on alone Yoongi-Hyung?" He replied before smiling sweetly toward the mint haired alpha.

"Yeah I'll be fine, just means I get to listen to my music super loud and be unsociable for the remaining time I have before being stuck with all of you." Yoongi grinned and Jimin laughed, hitting him slightly.

"You'll have fun hyung- plus studying together is so much better than alone, we'll learn so much more together!" The omega smiled and Yoongi ruffled his messy blonde hair making him scrunch up his nose, "whatever, see you there."

They all got in their respective cars, Jimin deciding he'd be a nice friend and sit in the back with Taehyung, so Namjoon could concentrate on driving and Tae wouldn't feel like such a third wheel to the couple.

"I love your hoodie by the way Jimin." The beta complimented and the small boy blushed, "thank you, it's super cosy." He replied bashfully, holding his sweater paws up to his cheeks, "Remember to give me directions Jimin I've never been to your place before." Namjoon called from the front as they pulled out of the car park.

"Oh yeah- of course."

"Jungkook!"

"Yes Eomma!?"

"We haven't been to the Park family's house in over a week, I would like to catch up with Miyoung, wouldn't you like to visit Jimin-Ah?"

Jungkook sighed and put his pen down, he was in the middle of studying but the last three times his mother had asked if they could visit the Park's he had made the same excuse...

"Sure Eomma. Let me just pack up my books, I'll study with him." He called down the stairs in response and picked up a bag from the floor to shove his things inside.

Once he'd got everything together he made his way down the steps and was faced with his brightly smiling mother, "what's got you so excited?" He asked with an eyebrow raised and she mimicked his expression.

"Don't you look at me like that young man, what's got you so miserable?" She countered and he sighed, "I'm just tired, but don't worry, sorry Eomma." He mumbled and she tutted before opening the front door and shooing her son out before her.

"Jimin honey?"

Miyoung called for her son up the stairs but was confused when she got no response, considering the size of their house- noise actually travelled quite far, and currently she could hear the loud chatter and happy laughter coming from her son's bedroom.

She had received a text from Jaehwa asking if her and Jungkook could come to visit, she knew that meant the Beta mother had already left their house and was on her way so didn't even bother to text back, however due to the incessant sound of her son and clearly a number of other people chatting away in his bedroom- the Omega thought it only right to make sure Jimin was ready for Jungkook to arrive.

"Jimin-Ah?" She called slightly louder from outside his bedroom door and even gave a little knock, the noise inside died down and some thumping was heard as Jimin made his way to the door to open it.

"Yes Eomma?" He asked and Miyoung looked around at the 5 other boys sprawled around his floor each with books and pens surrounding them, "Jungkook is on his way..." she mumbled.

Jimin gulped and his face drained of colour, "oh... c-can't you tell Jaehwa that I'm busy?" He asked softly and his mother looked at him apologetically, "you know what she's like, she asked but she's probably already on her way. Besides I'd like to see her, and Jungkook can just join you and your friends with studying can't he?"

Jimin looked back to the others who all just stared in silence, "Uh, h-hello Mrs. Park, I'm Kim Taehyung, I'm actually Jungkook's best friend so, he'll be fine, we'll be fine." Tae smiled brightly and the Omega mother smiled back.

"See Jimin-Ah, nothing to worry about, they'll probably be here soon so just be prepared for when he walks in without knocking as usual." She giggled before waving at Jimin's friends, wishing them all a good study session, and leaving the room- shutting the door behind her.

"I'm sorry guys... Jungkook's Eomma comes round a lot and doesn't really ask if it's a good time beforehand, we've gotten used to it now but I don't usually have a lot of people over so I'm sorry it happened to be today." Jimin apologised and Hoseok stood up to hug him.

"It's okay Jimin, we're all here and Taehyung and Jungkook are very close so it's even better that we invited you along last minute huh Tae! It'll be fine Jimin, we'll still have fun and get lots done." Hoseok laughed at his rhyme as he brought Jimin to sit back down again.

"Does your Eomma know we're dating Jimin-Ah?" Namjoon asked and the omega nodded, "I told her this morning, she just probably didn't want to single you out amongst everyone by commenting." He giggled and sat back down beside him.

They continued chatting, getting studying done, but in a fun way, not having to sit in silence and read but instead talk about how they understood each different thing they read.

As pre-warned, about 10 minutes later the door burst open to reveal a frowning Jungkook, "Tae?" Was the first word he uttered as he looked at everyone in a state of confusion.

"Hey Kook, we're uh... we're studying." Taehyung smiled as he stood up to greet his best friend, "oh... well I'm sorry for intruding, but uh, I actually brought my stuff with me because I was studying before my Eomma dragged me here so... mind if I join you all?" Jungkook asked rather timidly.

Jimin avoided eye contact but the others all nodded or shrugged, inviting the infamous Alpha into the room. "I would've said no to my Eomma again if I knew you were busy, but I'd put off coming over 3 times already, sorry Jimin." Jungkook mumbled a little awkwardly, trying to get Jimin to look at him.

"It's alright, let's all just keep studying yeah..." the now frightened omega still didn't look up to meet Jungkook's eye, and instead smiled toward his friends and continued writing what he was before.

"How about I put some music on...?" Hoseok asked a few moments later, after everyone had continued on in a now rather awkward silence, "please do, can't we take a break, I'm bored." Yoongi mumbled and Tae grinned and stood up.

"We should put girl group songs on and have a karaoke party!" The beta ran to his phone, excited to show off the playlist of songs he'd created for this very moment, "really Tae?" Jimin laughed and ran over to him to peek at his phone screen.

"I mean, we have our English test on Wednesday Jimin... don't you think we should keep studying?" Namjoon questioned and the omega chewed his lip with a frown, "I guess... I do need help with English." He sighed with a pout and hoped someone would come up with something.

"Well, it's your birthday tomorrow Jimin, you don't wanna be studying on your birthday do you?" Jungkook suddenly spoke and Jimin finally looked at him- still sat on the floor with a pen flicking between his fingers, his reading glasses on, and a notebook in his lap.

Jimin played with his sweater paws and Hoseok gasped, "oh my god I'm a terrible best friend is it really the 12th today!? How did I lose track of the days so quickly? Maybe we should keep studying until Jimin knows all the English he needs to and then we can have our karaoke party?" He questioned and everyone agreed.

Jimin was suddenly pulled down to sit on the floor and looked to his wrist to see Jungkook's hand, he let it go but when the omega looked up to his eyes all he saw was a bright smile, "I've been focussing really hard in English recently and I've been working on some covers for English songs, so how about I help you with English and you help me with Math again?"

Jimin's wide glossy eyes stared into Jungkook's hopeful ones, his heart was thumping so loud in his chest and his throat was dry...

The omega tore his eyes away to look at everyone else who were all back to studying and chatting amongst each other- now with some quiet music from Hoseok's phone playing in the background.

He caught eyes with Namjoon and his heart skipped a beat at the way the older boy frowned a little, clenched his jaw, and then looked down at his notes.

"Jimin?" Jungkook's soft voice snapped his eyes back round to look at the source, "sure Kook." He managed before gulping with a small nervous smile. The younger boy grinned so big his eyes crinkled at the corners before he let out what seemed to be a sigh of relief- as though he was nervous to ask for help, "Thanks hyung."

After another hour or so of some slightly more focussed studying from the group of boys, they all finally started placing down their pencils and closing their books. One by one they broke away from the study circle until everyone was officially done with all the work.

"Wow... I mean that was more fun than studying alone but it still sucked- can we please have a karaoke party now?" Jimin giggled and pushed his hair out of his face with a relieved sigh to be done with all that work.

"Yessss! I've been waiting for this moment all my life." Tae squealed and jumped up to plug his phone into Jimin's speaker, Hoseok laughed and joined him in choosing the first song.

"Thanks for helping me Hyung, I really appreciated your help, really, like a lot, thank you." Jungkook suddenly mumbled from where he was still sat beside the blonde omega, "oh, it's okay, thank you too, you helped me a lot as well. Also, do you think maybe you could sing one of your covers you've been working on?"

Jungkook's smile fell and he gulped thickly, "Uh, I'm not sure, I'm not very confident singing in front of everyone here." He practically whispered, even though nobody was paying any attention to their conversation, "oh, well maybe next time you're here you could sing it just for me?" Jimin asked quite hopefully, feeling really intrigued as he never even knew Jungkook enjoyed singing.

The younger boy looked away from the omega's bright hopeful eyes and chewed on his lip, "maybe, maybe sometime." He mumbled anxiously and Jimin couldn't help but grin at this shy side of Jeon Jungkook, the side he almost never saw.

The older boy was just about to speak again when suddenly Tae clapped excitedly and the intro for "Into The New World" by Girls Generation started playing, even though it's just a bunch of engines any Kpop fan would recognise those sounds...

When the music kicked up Hoseok grabbed the excited Beta's hands and they started dancing, Jimin giggled and stood up to clear away some more space in the middle of his rather large bedroom.

Seokjin started laughing at the two hyperactive teenagers still dancing with the most serious expressions, he stood to sing the first line with them and Jimin looked over, catching the way Namjoon grinned at the usually rather serious boy now enjoying himself and singing his heart out.

A warm smile made its way onto the omega's face, Namjoon must've had feelings for Jin, he just knew it. Yoongi was also grinning at the three mimicking the choreography of the iconic song, now having more room to dance properly, and the singing was surprisingly on key, not like what Jimin had expected.

The chorus kicked in and Tae grabbed Jungkook from where he was stood in the corner of the room, pulling him into the group of dancers. The alpha tried to protest but Taehyung gripped his hands tightly and moved with him, grinning stupidly the whole time, enjoying himself way too much for Jungkook to be able to turn down.

Jimin shook his head at the way Jungkook began to half-assedly move his limbs, clearly too embarrassed to dance properly. The two caught eye contact and Jimin grinned, jogging over and joining in with the now loud and obnoxious singing.

He grinned brightly at Jungkook as he too joined in with the dancing, trying to convince the embarrassed alpha that there was no need to be so shy and that they were all having fun.

"Namjoon-Ah, cmon and dance!" He turned and called to his fake boyfriend as the song reached the short dance break, Namjoon's eyebrows raised and he shook his head rapidly, "I can't dance, I'm fine watching, right Yoongi?" He turned and the mint haired boy nodded along.

Jimin rolled his eyes and tutted, beginning to sing along with the second verse, leaning in close to Hoseok and pretending to share an invisible microphone, this was by far the most fun Jimin had had in a long time.

He was surprised at how cheery Jungkook seemed, he loosened up a lot and began dancing and singing just as enthusiastically as the rest of them, Jimin couldn't keep his eyes off the bright smile the alpha held on his face.

All of them were grinning and laughing at each other, Taehyung quickly becoming in his element and taking "centre stage" making a fool out of himself purposefully to make everyone laugh, Hoseok trying his best to join in with his over the top antics- whenever he wasn't toppling over with laughter.

The song reached the last chorus and Jungkook actually started belting the high notes, everyone kept going but it was pretty clear they were all shocked with how well the alpha could sing.

Jimin was somehow seeing so many new things from Jungkook in just one day. It was making him smile until his cheeks hurt but was also tugging at his chest, making it more difficult to breathe and focus on anything but the intoxicating alpha he'd known all his life. Remembering everything they'd been through and realising how stupid they'd been to mess up every chance they'd had at a good relationship.

When the song finally ended everyone was almost breathless with all the effort they'd put into the performance as well as all the laughter they'd put themselves through. Namjoon and Yoongi stood and clapped, whistling and cheering as the "performers" bowed over-exaggeratedly.

"Wah, that was so much fun, I really needed that." Jimin sighed through the ends of his laughter, Hoseok wrapped an arm over his shoulder and smiled widely, "happy early birthday, now let's keep having fun!" He cheered and Taehyung played the next song.

"Thank you all for tonight, I had such a great time, I kinda wanna just pretend today was my birthday since I know tomorrow won't be nearly as fun..." Jimin sighed and Taehyung ruffled his hair, "thanks for letting me tag along to this study session turned early birthday party. It was really great to get to know you all."

They were all making their way downstairs, after dancing and singing loudly to girl group songs for about an hour before Miyoung brought them all some food, and then they all sat for another couple hours just chatting and learning more about each other.

It was around 10pm and they all needed to get home, Jimin's mother coming up a few minutes beforehand to say she was going to bed soon so to please keep the noise down.

The boys were all pretty drained but had had a great evening, "yeah, please tell your Eomma we thank her for letting us have a karaoke party in her house- oh and thank her again for the food!" Seokjin asked and Jimin nodded as they reached the front door.

"I'll see you all tomorrow, thanks again guys." The blonde omega smiled and hugged each of his friends, everyone taking time to thank the boy and say goodbye to each other, they had all previously discussed who was going home with who and since Jungkook's mother left much earlier in the afternoon he was the only one left without a ride.

Jimin hugged Namjoon a little longer than the rest, before reaching up and kissing his lips softly, the older boy reciprocating the kiss with a soft smile before pulling away, "see you tomorrow Jimin-Ah."

And finally everyone was gone- except Jungkook.

"So, uh, I have no way of getting home... would you hate it if I asked to stay the night?" The younger boy asked hopefully while awkwardly shuffling on his feet and scratching at his neck.

"That's okay Kook-Ah, I am pretty tired though so, wanna just stick a movie on and fall asleep...? Cause I do." He laughed softly and Jungkook smiled and nodded, "sounds perfect."

The two made their way back up to Jimin's bedroom, Jungkook going into the omega's second drawer down and grabbing his baggiest pyjama bottoms to change into while throwing said boy one of his pyjama tops.

"I swear you only keep the bottoms for me." The alpha chuckled and Jimin blushed, "well yeah, pretty much, I never wear them..." he admitted with a small shrug of his shoulders and Jungkook just smiled again before leaving the room to change in the bathroom across the hall.

They hadn't had a "sleepover" in over a year, and they had never spent the night together by choice either... so this would be a new experience in their weird relationship.

Jimin sat grinning to himself for a moment, letting the thoughts racing around his head slow down before getting changed into his baggy shirt and boxers.

A few moments later Jungkook re-entered the room shirtless in Jimin's supposed-to-be-baggy pj bottoms which were rather tight on the alpha's longer and more muscular legs.

The older boy couldn't help but scan his body, he hadn't seen it since... since they messed everything up. And that thought alone made him frown and quickly look back to the TV where he was searching for a boring movie to have running in the background as they fell asleep.

"Thanks for letting me stay." Jungkook mumbled as he climbed into bed under the duvet next to Jimin, "of course, I wasn't gonna make you walk home this late." He smiled and Jungkook scoffed, "I appreciate that but only because I'm lazy, not because I'd be scared walking home by myself. I'm an alpha remember, it's all good."

Jimin rolled his eyes a little, knowing full well that under Jungkook's hard alpha shell he was actually pretty scared of the dark, but he chose not to bring that up and let the boy keep his pride.

"Hm, either way- if this isn't too weird for me to say- it might be nice, sleeping next to someone, you know?" Jimin asked, turning to face Jungkook and the younger looked back, eyebrows creasing a little before he licked his lips and turned away, "yeah, maybe."

Jimin gulped, feeling slightly embarrassed by Jungkook's unenthusiastic response, and quickly choosing a random movie without paying too much attention, now just wanting to get to sleep.

However, the only reason Jungkook had answered so strangely was because of the thoughts in his own mind, was that flirting? He totally just flirted with me... but he has a boyfriend...?

"Okay well, goodnight Kook." Jimin mumbled as he laid further into the sheet and rolled onto his side, he heard shuffling and Jungkook flicked the lamp off on his side of the bed, "mhm, night Jimin-Ah."

Sorry I took so long to update, I definitely won't be promising to stick to an update schedule anymore, I guess I'm more of a - write when motivated - kind of deal...

And I haven't been very motivated recently, but I seem to get spurs of motivation so maybe I'll come back with 5 super updates in a week or so 😅🤷🏼‍♀️
