3rd P.O.V:

Your skin was searing in pain, a voice no other than your own crying out in agony.

The heavenly army no more than about 50 feet above you had unleashed a full range of weaponry upon you.

"(Y/n), get out of there!!"

Yukine urged you to get out of the spot you were stuck in, but unfortunately, you were not in control of your own body.

"I-it hurts! Please, please stop, IT HURTS!" The phantom cried out, but in the good spirit of he situation, it was losing its hold on the strings of your body.

Tears were squeezed shut at the corners of your eyes, as your legs collapsed.

Each bullet that drove through your skin removed the phantom's consciousness from your body, and effectively, you felt more in control.

"If we don't do something soon, (Y/n) is gonna die! She can't take all of this damage!" Yukine warned the navy haired god beside him, but Yato gad frozen up.

He'd never dealt with a situation such as this before. In this moment, it felt like every good will he had created for his regalia was about to come crashing down.

Just like Sakura.

"Yato, snap out of it! She's dying!"

His blue eyes lit up like a lamp.

"Sekki!!"

Yukine was in Yato's hand at the moment of his beck and call.

Without hesitation, he was in front of your frail body, blocking it with the two blades Yukine had transformed into.

The heavenly army above took that as a sign of defense, and further increased its range of artillery.

'He won't be able to take all of this.

Why the hell are the two of you protecting me?

Please, save yourselves.'

Yato's body began to tilt backwards a bit, as his feet skidded through the ground.

'If only.. if only I could show the heavens that I'm not evil. That I am not just a phantom.'

"If we're gonna seal her phantom away, Yato.. we gotta do it now!" Yukine warned, as he was now becoming aware that they wouldn't hold up much longer.

"Right," Yato murmured, turning away from the army for a slight second to protect your body.

"You, who have been cursed with the creatures of the shadows.. I bid you to seal away the beasts and to remain purified!"

It was a bit like a chant.

You felt your mind stretching out of your own consciousness, reaching for your body.

The phantom screeched, disgruntled when it was forced back into the center of your soul.

Then, everything was black.

You forgot how much you despised the darkness.

Your P.O.V:

Your eyes fluttered open, as you felt a persistent soreness wrapping around your limbs.

"W-what the hell..?" You barely managed to utter.

Your vision was greatly distorted, bur you were able to make out the brighu surrounding you.

You were trapped in a cage high in the sky, your hands bound above yor head.

"No.. no.. where's Yato..? Where's Yukine..?" You questioned out loud, struggling a bit against the celestial ropes holding you captive.

"So you're awake, then."

Your eyes looked around curiously for the voice who'd uttered those words, and just then your question had been answered.

A girl with soft brown eyes smiled delicately at you.

"Do not worry, your master and his regalia are safe. I assure you."

Your heart beated quickly, but in relief.

"Where am I..? Why am I tied up like this..?" You questioned her, as her chestnut ponytail swayed a bit in the wind.

"You're in the heavens. Not long after your inner phantom had been sealed away, the three of you passed out and were brought here. I believe for impending punishment." She explained calmly, fiddling with a dandelion she retrieved from the stray gusts of wind.

"So they're just going to kill me anyways.. " You muttered angrily, gritting your teeth.

"They won't kill you. Though I do believe that they intend to harm your master, though."

"W-what?! They can't! If Yato died, Yukine and I would vanish!" You cried out, your heart now beating against your rib cage.

"He's had sore luck with regalia. He's taken in two Nora, and even revealed the god's greatest secret to one, causing it to become a phantom. To the gods, he's merely just an issue."

You sneered at her, while she merely fiddled with the dandelion.

"H-help me out! I have to save him..! I-I have to convince them that he's worth keeping alive!" You pleaded with her.

"Oh believe me, I will set you free. I also intend to assist you in saving your god." She said with a shy smile.

Your eyes squinted a bit at her. Why should you trust her? After all, you didn't even know her.

"Why.. why do you want to save Yato.?"

She pursed her lips, as if she was pondering how to answer your question.

"I owe him. He has grown so much since I have had the pleasure of being by his side. Seeing you and that blessed regalia serve him makes me entirely proud."

"Since you've last seen him..? When was that..?"

She came to your side, beginning to delicately undo the ropes that loosely looped your wrists and ankles.

"Many many years ago. I
he revealed the god's greatest secret to you and the boy, you'd be able to withstand it."

"Funny you'd say that.. he thinks the exact opposite." You mumbled in annoyance.

"Take it from experience. You would be content with its knowledge of your past."

After you were set free, the girl managed to get you to Yato and Yukine without being caught by the guards.

"Unfortunately, this is as far as I can take you. Please give Yato my best regards. Tell him that I am in no way upset with his actions." She grinned, placing a hand on your shoulders.

"Thank you.. and.. how do you know so much about Yato..? Why are you even here..?" You were still fairly curious.

"There's a place fallen regalia go where neither gods nor people will recognize them from their previous lives. That is here, where we serve the heavens for eternity."

Suzuha.

"D-do you know of a regalia that goes by the name of Suzuha? He passed not too long ago, and-"

"He will not be able to see you, and you will not be able to see him. It is a simple consequence of the after life."

Your heart immediately sunk at those words, your hopes being crushed in an instant.

"Right.. well if you do see him, give him my best regards. And I'll pass yours onto Yato from who..?"

"He would remember me best as Sakura."

WHAT'S GOOD Y'ALL LOL. IT'S BEEN LIKE A MONTH I KNOW YOU ALL HATE ME. But I finally updated!! And I did my own thing with this chapter as I do with most of the story, so don't be confused if it doesn't follow Noragami's storyline completely.
So I know most of you are pretty aware that I plan on ending this story fairly soon.. there are three chapters left, five at the most. I took in most of your input, and decided that I want to end this series. While the book doesn't become stale, and because I'm getting pretty busy. I don't wanna leave you guys hanging for a month like this again. But anyways I hope you all enjoyed this, and that lil Sakura drop there. (U know about her if u read the manga.
