Your P.O.V:

"So this is your shrine?" You questioned Yato curiously.

He had acquired it before you became his regalia, and you all never exactly had enough free time to just go the heavens and admire it.

"Yup, its one whole square-yard. Impressive, isn't it?" Yato raised his eyebrows as he snickered.

You laughed in response.

"Yup, I'm proud of you, buddy." You said with a smile whilst patting his back.

"So what did you ask me to bring you up here for? I know it isn't just to admire my achievements even though they are quite amazing." Yato questioned you, as he dusted off this sign which had been engraved with his name.

"I.. actually wanted.. well I wanted to speak with the gods.. of the heavens..." You whispered silently, whilst shyly leaning on Yukine's shoulder.

Yato's sky eyes widened in surprise, and he began to stop moving, as if he was frozen in time.

"W-why do you want to do t-that..?'

You realized his demeanor had changed immediately at the sound of your question.

Yato wasn't the type of god to be afraid of anything let alone anyone, yet now he seemed a bit fearful of the fact that you'd even mentioned them.

"I n-need help, Yato. I don't want to have this demon inside of me anymore.. I think they would be the help I need to get rid of it..."

He swallowed dryly, placing his hand on your shoulder.

"(Y/n).. I really wish we could get rid of what's inside you. Believe me, I would want nothing more than for you to be a normal regalia.. I just want you to be happy.. but the heavens aren't approving of what you are. They'd execute you on the spot.." He explained calmly.

"B-but its not my fault I'm a translucent regalia, or that Medusa turned me into a Nora.. If I just explained to them.. maybe they would understand..?" You suggested.

Yato looked down somberly, as he opened his mouth once again to speak.

"They don't see that you're still a regalia, (Y/n). I see what lies beyond the monster within you, (Y/n). They won't. They'll just see you as a blemish to our kind."

Your eyebrows lowered as you began to become angry.

"I have a question, Yato. When you'd first seen me, did you actually know that I was a translucent regalia?" You asked in an irritated tone.

He was caught off guard by your question, his breath hitching. His grip on your shoulders became loose, and even Yukine's gaze widened at your sudden question.

"I-I"

"Just answer the question, Yato."

"I didn't at first. But as soon as you entered the Near Shore world, I felt a difference presence from within you than I did with Yukine.."

Your heart seized at his words, as you shrugged his hands off of you, making yourself intangible.

"You've always known. You'd always known what I would go through, yet you brought me into this world anyway," You said silently, as you stared at the ground.

"I brought you into the world because you reminded me of myself, (Y/n).." Yato's voice was pleading.

"I wanted to give you the chance the others never gave me. The chance to be happy. The chance to not be seen as just a killer,"

You felt the fury rising inside of you again, and you were determined to keep it locked away. But the phantom inside was way to strong for you to try and control. It took control of you effortlessly, your (e/c) irises instantly becoming hazed over with a ray of violet.

"You're so selfish.. I- I didn't want to be like you! I don't want to live this way! I'm not a monster like you, Yaboku."

Yato's eyes looked as if they'd been damaged, the blue in his eyes dimming as his mouth became a frown. He kept quiet and refused to look into your eyes. His silence some how made your rage build and the purple aura started to emit from your body.

'I'm not like him',you thought to yourself.

Your white tendrils shoot out of your body from your back also your sides.

'I can't be like him', you thought grabbing your head.

The aura around you grew and soon a familiar voice was calling your name. You see Yato being pushed back by the purple mist, it seems he is trying to reach you.

"(Y/n)!", he yelled.

You looked at him and soon heard a voice coming from the back of your mind.

'kill him~', it  whispered.

You stared at Yato mortified at this voice in your head.

'KILL HIM~', it said louder than the first time.

The blight formed on your arms and legs, then started to spread.

'He's the one who wanted you to suffer~', the voice said.

The blight was spreading up to your stomach turning it a bruised coloring.

'No I can't....Yato is my god...I have to protect him', You say to the mysterious voice in your head.

The blight grew up to your face and was on the outer rim of your face, you clutched your head.

'NO! HE DOESN'T WANT YOU! YOUR A MONSTER!' the voice says with anger .

'No! I won't kill him!' you say to the voice.

It was quiet for a moment and then the voice spoke,

'If you won't....then I will.'

The blight soon covered your whole body and you see Yato out of the corner of your eye. He looked at you terrified of what you have become. You stand and look at him with a smile on your face.

"Good bye Yaboku," You say with a demon like voice.

Yato stares at you with wide eyes,"(Y/n)...What have you become?"

Your smile grew wider and you looked at him with your vivid glowing purple eyes.

"(Y/n) is gone", It says.

Hey guys, its Drama Typhoon. So I'm sorry this took so long to get out. I'll be honest, I'm a lazy bag of trash that procrastinated finishing this chapter. I've had it half written for two weeks but I was very conflicted on how end it and how was going. But anyways, I finally got it out so thats all that matters. Big s/o to CpEchoShadow because she wrote the ending of this chapter because I am clearly a lazy potato.
