*unfortunately this will be the last chapter my dears. It will be short, maybe not great, but I don't have enough motivation to write it a proper ending. If I'm being honest with myself I rushed in with only the first half of the story and had no clue where to go from there. If I write anymore books it most likely won't be in this fandom and to save the embarrassment of not giving a story the endjnv if deserves, it will be prewritten before I release any chapters. Enjoy though, I have many ideas I want to put out there.

-Matt's PoV*

It was finally the day. The day my divorce was made official. I couldn't wait to be done with Caleb, I had had to bear meetings with him for nearly a month and this was the day I was finally rid of him for good.

I walked into the court with Gilbert by my side, the only thing left to do is sign my name on the paper, and for Caleb to sign his.

As we entered the room, Caleb was already sitting in a chair by my lawyer's desk, Gilbert gave my hand a light squeeze before letting go so I could sit next to my soon-to-be ex husband. *no clue how divorces work but I'll pretend I do*

Caleb looked at me with sad eyes, "Please ba- Matthew, just give me another chance, we can still fix this. Just-"

"Caleb I might have loved you a long time ago, but that time is gone. You need to move in from it. Because you don't live me either. I don't think you ever did. So sign your name, and get out of my life."

He looked at me with sorrow, desperation, possibly a bit of anger, and he grabbed the pen and signed his name on the line.

He glared over at Gilbert, who simply glared back, before he set the pen down on the table and walked away.

As he walked out of the room, In picked up the pen he left and signed my own name next to his.

"You ready birdie?"

"yeah."
