Haha sleep deprivation
*In the last week since I've written my parents have left for Hong Kong, (Grei and I will join them on the 28th), I notched my eyebrow because Emmily did it first and fucked it up, (I also fucked it up), I cried because I saw my childhood bestfriends/sisters for the last time this year, and I got to hang out with my baby cousins who are so so so cute! All in all I've been busy with final visits and I'm tired. Matthew's pov*
Once Gilbert was out of sight I gave Caleb a glare and stood up. I would yell at him when I got home but for now I didn't want to disturb the peace of the coffee shop.
I made my way out of the shop, not waiting for Caleb to gather his things. He knew the way home, he could walk.
I started up the car and drove home in silence.
It was only a ten minute drive to our apartment, meaning that it would be about twenty minutes before Caleb got home.
I didn't understand why he had to be such a dickhead! Gilbert wasn't dangerous or whatever the fuck Caleb's excuse for hating him was, he was just a guy that I knew when I was a kid.
Soon enough I pulled into the parking lot and made my way into the lobby, quickly scanning my card before heading to the elevator.
I decided to make some tea while I waited for Caleb to get home. He wouldn't be back for another ten minutes so I might as well do something.
In only five minutes I heard the door slam open.
That was quick, he must've run.
"What the fuck, Matthew." he panted.
"I could return the question." I replied idly, not looking away from the hot water I was pouring. "What the fuck were you thinking? Hm? What was that all about?"
"Look babe he was being a prick! But that's not the point! You left me at the fucking coffee shop!" Caleb yelled.
I turned around with a cocked eyebrow. "Really. He was being a prick. How exactly was he being a prick?"
Caleb sputtered a bit before answering. "He- he was bragging about his stupid art stuff."
"Caleb he was not fucking bragging about his art, he was answering a question I asked him. You were bragging about Law school." I glared.
"Either way he was clearly flirting with you. He needed to be taught a lesson."
I set my mug on the counter and walked up to Caleb. "How on EARTH was he flirting with me Caleb?! We were talking! Just silly nicknames we used as kids!"
Caleb rolled his eyes in a very dramatic way. "That's the point! When you were kids you asked the guy to fucking marry you!"
"Is that what this is about? Someone I had a crush on when I was thirteen? Caleb I married you. For a reason. I chose you and I'm not going back on that choice simply because I saw my childhood bestfriend. So stop being a jealous prick because you're already sleeping on the couch for the next week," I walked past him to our shared room, "And no sex."
And I slammed the door on him.

*this chapter comes to you late courtesy of my baby cousins Floyd and Farley
Both of them are adorable turds who won't let me gef shit done because one of them is so cute that it's physically impossible not to pay attention to him and the other constantly asks to play crossy Road on my phone and how could I decline?
Anyway I get on the plane tomorrow, first thing in the fucking morning. So I will see you after a treacherous 14 hours of plane and most likely wading through protesters at the airport of Hong Kong
