Natsu's POV

I see Lucy turn her head and freeze. I turn to see what she's freaking out about and see a dark haired mage walking in our direction. I stand up in front of Lucy. " The blooms were always so beautiful. To bad they had to die, like you guys eventually." Zeref ponders " What are you doing here?!" I snarl at the wizard. Zeref completely ignores me and looks behind me. " Your guild looks so peaceful, it would be such a shame if it all burned to the ground, wouldn't it?" "You wouldn't dare." I growl. Our guildmates finally see the cause of the trees dying, and crowd behind me. " I wouldn't, but would you?" Zeref says rhetorically. I ready my fists. Gray does the same. Lucy puts her hands on her keys. Just as I'm about to start attacking, Erza holds me back. "Stop" Erza says. "He's just trying to get under your skin." She states. "Am I really?" Zeref smirks. All of a sudden I feel a sharp pain in my arm. I fall to the ground. "AGH" I scream. 

Lucy's POV

I see Natsu fall to the ground in pain. "Until next time" Zeref disappears. "Natsu!" I drop to the ground to try and help him. Wendy starts to come too and gets in her healing stance, but Natsu stops her. "I'm.... fine" he pants. I must have made a worried expression, because a second later he says, " I promise" while doing that infamous goofy grin. It seems like I'm not the only one worried, as Erza is looking down on Natsu with a worried expression as well. "That bastard.." Gray mutters. "I wonder what the point of that was.." Wendy ponders. People start to conversate after awhile till masters grabs our attention. " We mustn't take this lightly, a member of our family was just attacked, by a being far more powerful than even my reach. We must watch each others backs." he exclaims. We all nod. It was like I said before, good things don't last.

I walk in the guild the next day and notice Natsu's arm wrapped up. 'Could it be from yesterday?'  I wonder. I decide to not worry about it. Nothing bad could've happened, right? Erza walks up to me and hands me a paper with fancy writing on it. "What's this?" I ask. "Well, I had 4 extra tickets, and I wanted to give you one of them. After all, we all are on the same team." Erza smirks. "Oh! Thanks!" I smile. A vacation was much needed, especially after that encounter with Zeref. 

Time flies, and it's the day of the trip. Erza has invited Gray, Wendy, Natsu, and I to a free getaway at the resort with her 4 extra tickets. Carla and Happy could join us without cost as well. Just when I was checking to make sure that I have everything, I hear a knock on the door. "Natsu?" I ask. "Morning Luce!" He grins. " Why are you up this early?" I ask. "Duh, it's the day of the trip, and we're all waiting outside. I remember that we were supposed to meet at 7am. I look at the time and see 7:45 on the clock. Crap!  I think as I blush, knowing I'm super late.

Erza's POV

As we walk into the resort, I see the beautiful palm trees and the nice breeze. I can't help but grin. It's been awhile since I've had a getaway like this. Just as I'm about to check in, I hear someone behind me. "Wait!" It was Levy. "Levy?" Lucy says. I turn and see Levy, accompanied with Gajeel, Lily, Elfman, Mira, Lisanna, the Thunder Legion, and Juvia. "WHAAA?!" Natsu and Gray scream. "Well, we couldn't just let you have all the fun!" Levy says. "Plus our stay isn't included with ours, we're paying by ourselves." Mira adds. A sigh of relief passes me. "WAhhHH, I can't believe Gray~Sama left me like that!" Juvia whines. Grays face drops. I giggle as our fellow guildmates conversate. I'm glad that more of our family will be accompanying us. 

Lucy's POV

"First one to the water wins!" Natsu screams. "You're on!" Gray exclaims. I change into my swimming suit in the locker room. " I really like your swimsuit Lucy~!" Wendy says. "Thanks! I like yours too!" I smile. Wendy smiles weakly "Thanks...." She says timidly, looking down at her small chest and sighing. We head out to the beach and enjoy ourselves. It was nice. The last time we had this much fun together was the flower viewing festival a few months ago. Levy, Wendy, Erza, and I started building a sand castle, Natsu, Gray, Elfman and the others were playing in the water, Lisanna, Mira, Evergreen, and Juvia were playing volley ball. Natsu and Gray had accidentally knocked over the sand castle while fighting, Erza scared them off. It felt like home. I was happy.

Eventually, everyone had gone to check into our rooms, but I just stayed at the beach and asked for Erza to check in for me, she agreed. I watched the sunset over the horizon, with its bright rays being pulled to the rough waves of the sea. While the last bits of sunlight are submerged, someone comes and sits next to me. It's Natsu. "Why aren't you with the others?" he asks. "I don't know, it's just that the sunsets are always so peaceful, and I really enjoy watching them, I guess." 

We start to talk about different things, giggling, arguing, and having a good time. Then Natsu asks, " Wanna go swimming?" He smiles. I frown at him. "The waters probably freezing!" I exclaim. Natsu smirks at me. "That's the fun part." He picks me up bridal style and runs to the water. "Natsu!" I say, hitting his arm trying to break free. But it's too late. We're already in the water. I shiver. "Ugh! It's freezing! Natsu!" I yell. Natsu smiles and splashes water on me. "Hey!" I smirk, as we start to play fight in the water. I start shivering more, and Natsu notices. He places his arms around my waist underwater, and pulls me closer. "This better?" He asks. I put my arms around his neck and reply, "Yes, it is." Natsu leans closer, and so do I. I start to blush, as he kisses me. We break the kiss, smiling at each other. " Are you sure?" Natsu asks, smirking. "I'm positive." This time I pull him into a kiss. This one was different then the other one, it didn't taste like sea water for a first, but it was far nicer, like a promise, not an experiment. I held Natsu close as the moonlight shone on us, and only us.
