Lucy's POV
Because of the spell I cast, I wasn't able to see much. I kept loosing conscience and waking up again. But from what I could see was fighting. Did it not work? I wonder. Did I almost sacrifice my life for nothing? Is that why I didn't die?

Erza's POV
We've been fighting Natsu, or END he claims, for awhile now. It seems hopeless. Natsu just keeps coming back.

Lucy hasn't moved much. I really hope she's alright. I switch to my Nakagami(?) armor. I looked Natsu in the eye. "Why are you doing this?" I ask him. He just looks at me and attacks. Has he lost his mind?

I'm loosing options. Everyone has been struck down. It's only me. There's one spell that I know that might be able take END down, but it requires a lot of magic power. It might also cause lasting impacts, but that was a risk I was willing to take. I get ready to cast it. Then with one quick movement, I take my sword and slash END's stomach. He freezes and falls. A liquid comes out of his large cut. It's blood. Demon Blood. It must've worked. I smile before blacking out.

Levy's POV
I wake up and see a blue-haired mage tending to Gale. "Oh, you're awake." I hear a familiar voice say. "W-Wendy? I thought you went with the others?" I whimper. "I did, but I wanted to come check on you and the baby, to make sure you guys were okay." Wendy smiled. "Plus I wanted to make sure no one came and attacked. I know you're a strong wizard, but I also know that giving birth takes a lot out of you." I nod. "Thank you" I say, grateful for the thoughtfulness of my friends.

Lucy's POV
I wake up to see injured friends around me. I try to get up, but a deep cut on my lower leg stops me. "Heh, well done, Erza." I look over and see a beaten Natsu. "Natsu!" I yell, using my arms to push myself towards him. Wincing at every movement, I finally make it to him. "Can you hear me? Are you alright? Do you need help?" I ask, out of breath. "It won't help. I won't make it." He softly chuckles. "No! You'll make it!" I scream, tears pooling in my eyes. "It's funny, I never thought I'd die like this.... I deserve it though." he mumbles. "Stop it Natsu! You won't leave me, you can't.." my voice catches as tears start to run down my face.

Natsu's POV
I look slowly to see Lucy start to sob. I feel guilty. I didn't mean to make feel this way. I wish I could take the pain away. But then I remember. I see the large gash on her leg, the gash that I made. If I wasn't here, maybe she'd be safer. Maybe it was for the best. I look up at the ceiling of this weird place. "I have to thank you though, if it wasn't for you, I'd still be possessed by that demon." I smile remembering the spell she cast. She looks at me. "I wish I had more time with everyone. I wish I could fight with Gray more, wish I could get schooled by Erza one more time, wish I could-" I get interrupted by a fit of coughing. When I finish, I look at Lucy. "I wish I could go on more adventures with you." I sadly smile. "Natsu...." she trails off. "Just know, that I love you.... and I'll always be here next to you." I croak. "Natsu stop!" Lucy exclaims. "See ya, Luce" I murmur before I'm swallowed by the darkness.

Lucy's POV
"Natsu?" I whimper. He doesn't answer. "Natsu!" I scream. I pull myself closer towards him. I reach for his torso, shaking him. "Natsu! Get up this isn't funny! Natsu!" At this point tears are running down my face. I softly drop my head on his chest. I feel his cold chest, and put my ear next to it. There's no sound. Nothing. That's all I remember before blacking out.

I suddenly wake up in the guilds infirmary, panting. Was it a dream? I try to sit up, but fall back down, grabbing my head. Agh, what happened yesterday? I sit up again and try to walk towards the door. I fall and look to see the cause. The scar. This means that it wasn't a dream, Natsu was truly gone. I start to tear up when a familiar Red Haired Mage rushes in. "Lucy!" She helps me to my feet. "You shouldn't be walking around. Your still very injured." Erza states. "I don't care. Where's Natsu?" I ask, hoping I'm wrong. "Natsu is gone, he's a demon now. It won't be long before he attacks again, so you need to rest!" Erza sighs, frustrated. "No! He's not a demon he's Natsu! He was hurt! Where is he?!" I ask again. "For Mavis' sake Lucy! He's a demon! He's not one of us anymore. He was pretending to be dead so he could surprise us! Now get rest!" Erza says with force this time. I let my hair cover my face as I tremble. I ball my fists. "I'm sorry, but you have to understand. Now I-" Erza starts before I slap her. "Natsu is Natsu! And since none of you understand, I'll just have to find him on my own and give him a proper burial!" I scream. Erza stands there, shocked. I get up, wincing because of my foot. But I carry on, out of the guild, and into the unknown.
