I laid on my bed staring at the ceiling. We had encountered the gem quite a few times after that, we fought long enough to know that she was a jasper. The gems had told me of the last jasper the encountered and how previous endeavors led her to be corrupted and quickly proofed and bubbled. Through all the information I had learned, things still didn't add up. She looked as if she was well aware of the gems even stating that her scanners locked on to them, but she didn't seem to have interest in fighting us as our battles where usually quick and she would always disappear. Then there was her ship. I don't think she intended to land here if she did her ship wouldn't have been wrecked so badly. Maybe she crashed.. I wouldn't be able to tell until I get to the location of the ship wreck. But there was a huge problem. I can't use the warp pad. It only reacts to gems. And I wanted badly to go by myself the easiest option would be to ask Steven, but I can't. I shot up from my bed 'the warp whistle' I can use the warp whistle to get there. Perfect. I grabbed my sword and put on some black combat pants with boots and a black tank top.

I sneaked into the house with the spare key Steven gave me. I felt bad but I just had to know what was up. I knew that once I blew on the whistle the warp pad would activate, but if the gems were in ear distance then they would come running. I grabbed the whistle from the counter and thanked my lucky stars that the gems were out with Steven today. I had my sword with me just in case anything went south. I blew the whistle and shot off to the battlefield.

I examined the wreckage and there were dents on the outside, that pushed in. My best guess was that she was hit by an meteorite. A meteor shower on the way to whatever she was going. In the distance I heard a rumbling, with out so much as thinking about it I drew my sword in the direction. It was jasper. She squinted her eyes at me in disgust. " what are you doing here runt" she said summoning her weapon. "I'm not here to fight you" I put my sword away and continued looking at the ship "I actually have no interest in fighting you right now" I said in a monotone voice. She seemed to be irritated by my tone of voice. She swung her hammer above her head and swiftly turned swinging it toward my head but stopped a centimeter from my head, when she saw I wasn't flinching or in the least bit scared, the force of her sudden stop sent wind ruffling through my hair. "Why aren't you moving, why aren't you flinching, WHY ARENT YOU SCARED " she said through gritted teeth. I stood up after finishing my examination and faced her with a deadpan look. "I don't have any interest in fighting you" I cocked my head to the side "didn't I make that clear" I said picking my sword up and attaching it to my back. She made her weapon disappear and looked down at me, she had a good 2 inches on me. "So you figured out I'm stuck here, what are you gonna do" I shrugged "the gems are just going to keep fighting you, just come with me. You can stay with me for a while." I said walking towards the warp pad "till I figure out what to tell the gems" she stood on the warp with me and we warp to the temple. Thankfully there were no gems around, I quickly guided her to my house making sure to avoid all the paths that were high populated.

Jasper pov

( I find it very disturbing that I did a jasper pov before I did Connie's like I've done everyone's but hers but that can't be helped now maybe in the future)

I didn't understand why this human was being so nice to me, but then again I am a gem war. This human SHOULD pay her respect to someone as elite and merciless as me. I could end her life if I wanted to. I turnt my nose up at her and followed her into her house. "This is it, your welcome to stay in the guest room" she turned to look at me "you can't leave the house tho. Not until I can properly explain this to the gems so that they don't kill you" 'Ha as if they could' I thought to myself. She sat at the counter tapping on a small screen. I stood there and watched not understanding why such thing didn't come attached to her already "I'm human" she said as if she had read my mind. "Not all of us can be intergalactic polymorphic space rocks" she said in a mono tone placing her phone down on the counter. "Well it's a shame with your size and strength you would have been an excellent gem warrior." I smirked and went to sit down on her couch. I wondered what the future events would hold

It's been about 3 weeks since jasper had stayed at my house, she has learned a lot of new things though she tends to be stubborn about letting go of her homeworld after facing the facts that she would be stuck here she started to readjust. Me and jasper have been bonding and though it took some time the rest of the gems opened up to her. Garnet still seems jealous but it could just be my imagination. She's reluctant to accept them as friends but me and Steven seems to be the only one who has patience. We made it official that jasper will stay with me seeing that there is no more room in the temple for another gem. I'm excited to see what the lays in stores for us.
