We had warped back to the temple. Amethyst and Garnet was already waiting for us.  "Garnet" all three of said in unison "there's no time we have to go" I had never seen garnet so in a hurry it really didn't seem like her. "But I don't have my sword" I exclaimed she stopped and grabbed a bag from behind the counter it had my sword and gauntlets. " I took the liberty of grabbing it forward" she through the bag towards me and I caught it.  Amethyst and garnet made there way to the warp. While we were in the warp pad I put on my gauntlets and my equipped my sword the two fit perfectly together.  "There was a ship crash near the battlefield, it maybe another home-world ship" garnet informed us. I remember them telling me about home world gems, facing off against one, would tell if my training had paid off our not. I braced myself as we landed. We all approached with stealth Steven had his shield up and ready. Are weapons were drawn ready for whoever would come out. Just as we approached there was shuffling in the rubble and out popped a gem. She was big and bulky but still feminine. Her gem was on her chest and she wore a orange and black suit. I had heard of this gem before but i couldn't place my finger on it.  She saw us and her eyes widen but quickly turned to disgust. "You must be the gems scanner locked onto" we all braced ourself. As she stepped out of the wreckage. She obviously didn't care that she had wrecked her ship. " you gems are traitors to your home world" her eyes trailed off to me. "Even stooping so low as to recruit humans, your pathetic" she drew her weapon which was a war hammer. She dashed towards us and I quickly jumped in the way deflecting the impact of her attack with my sword. Giving garnet an opening to jump above me to attack. Pearl and amethyst dashed to the sides of the gem and Steven ran behind the gem cornering it. She caught on and dodged garnet's attack and slung her hammer to the ground causing a small quake, using that as a distraction she jumped in a small clearing " if you crystal traitors think you're going to get the jump on me that easy you've got another thing coming" her voice was deep and rasped she squinted her eyes at us and ran shaking the ground with each step she stopped and swung her hammer knocking amethyst pretty far. Pearl shot with her spear but missed and decided to go in forward while she did that I looked at garnet and as if reading my eyes she knew exactly the plan. After pearl was sent back towards amethyst's way we went into action. Garnet was first her gauntlets collided with the war hammer and she kept the force giving me time to come up beside her and draw a punch, it landed knocking the gem off balance. She stumbled back and we took this as our chance garnet took me by leg and swung me around throwing me towards the gem I had my sword drawn ready to impale her with my blade. She grabbed the edges of my blade stopping it before it reached her body. "Think again" she said lifting me by my sword and throwing me to the side. I landed on my feet and took that as an opportunity to spring back drawing my sword again, she caught it again unfazed by the sharpness of the blade I took this as my chance and hopped on my blade running towards her I kicked her in the face flipping back and grabbing my sword. She stumbled back "aggghh you little runt" she said holding her nose, she quickly swung her hammer with one hand leaving an opening for garnet who came in behind her with a punch. Amethyst came in with her whipped and sent a shock of electricity down it shocking the gem. She broke free, outnumbered and clearly outsmarted "don't think you've won, I'll be back" she swore as she threw down this smoke bomb and disappeared. We all looked as disappeared. I was about to go after her but garnet put her hand on my shoulder and she shook her head in disapprovement "so what does this mean" pearl said as she walked up and wrapped her arm around garnet's "if she wants to be a problem we'll deal with her" garnet said turning back to the warp pad. We followed and warp back to the temple. This new gem, she was intensely strong like nothing I had ever faced before. I looked up into the stream. What was home world really up to.
