After the events that had been taking place garnet suggested it was time to take me out in the field it was fairly a simple mission so it was just me and garnet. "What am I looking for again" I muttered swatting away mosquitos as we walked through the stuffy jungle like area. "You are to track and poof a corrupted gem and I will bubble it" garnet said walking behind me.  I sighed and pinned my hair up. "Are these the markings I'm looking for" I said pointing to the misshaped footprints in the ground.  Garnet kneeled down to get a better look and agreed that this was the corrupted gem footprints. Seeing that they were just made I drew my sword and garnet summoned her gauntlets. I walked a few more feet until I heard a roar and I ran towards the opening. There was the corrupted gem. I raced for it as it tried to swing for me I blocked with my sword and jumped on to its back. It tried shaking me off but I had it by the hair. It shook me around trying to throw me off balance but I wasn't going to let it, I circled my sword above my head and brought it down driving my sword right through it. After a moment of silence the gem's body dispersed into a thick cloud of smoke. I fell down but was caught by garnet "good job"  garnet cooed. I watched as she bubbled the gem. She then turned around and grabbed me spinning around as we both laughed and giggles. She hugged me tight and kissed my neck. "Job well done, congratulations on your first successful mission" she said placing me in the ground, I blushed the entire way back to the warp pad.

We warped back and everyone was waiting. Over the time of me being here I met Connie and greg lapis and peridot , they were all there "oh well done you both looked unscratched" Pearl congratulated. "Aww yeah way to go red head" amethyst said jumping in my arms I gave her a hug and jumped of the warp "aww guys you didn't have to" I said looking at the cake and drinks and all the decorations. "It's okay we did this for connie's first mission to" Steven said blushing a bit. Connie nodded in agreement. Amethyst walked up smiling "soooo how was it" she asked I smiled "it was great" just the garnet came up behind me and grabbed me tossing me in the air "it was awesome,you should have seen her" she said catching me and we both laughed. Connie looked at me "it's nice to have another human being on the team" she smiled placing her hand up for a high five "human beings" I smiled and high fives her "human beings" we both laughed
