After the events that took place yesterday I wasn't surprised when k didn't show her face today. "Garnet" Steven said walking up to me "yes Steven I answered " k hasn't shown up today is she ok" he asked. I remained silent searching for all possibilities of why she wasn't here. "I'm sure she's fine" I said after not being able to find any reason for why she wouldn't be here. "Oh ok I was going to check on her but then I remembered I don't really know where she lives" he said shrugging before getting excited "oooo you can check on her" he said in a pleasing manner. I looked at him for a second before placing my hand on my hip "yeah I'm not doing that" I said flatly he looked sad and then gave me a puppy dog face "please garnet"

"Why are we doing this" Pearl said walking along side me. "I lost a battle of will" I said sadly as me and Pearl continued the walk to k's house. " you seem to be losing a lot of those lately" Pearl said jokingly " I was no match for Steven puppy dog face and pouty lips" I said defeated. After about 30 or so minutes of walking we had arrived. I rung the door bell and braced myself for whatever would come next.

I was extremely exhausted. I mean I did work my body to its limits yesterday with fighting both garnet and Pearl. It was a bit much for me. To just jump outta no where with out the proper training. My muscles were screaming out in unimaginable pain. Just when I was finally in a comfortable position to go to sleep in the door bell rung 'why does the world hate me' I thought as I rolled out of bed and crawled down the stairs. The door bell rung again and I screamed out "I'm coming Garnet!!!" Knowing that it could only be her since she's the only one who really knows where I live. After about 2 minutes I finally made it to where I was able to wobble to the door and open it. There stood Garnet and Pearl. My eyes dropped and I gave them a questioning look. "Can I help you with something" Pearl looked down at me concerned "k! Oh you're wearing the same clothes from yesterday" I looked up over at garnet "you wear the same clothes everyday" I said mockingly before adding "was there something you needed" I was still highly pissed at garnet and my facial expression towards her could tell. "We came to check on you, you didn't come to the temple today" garnet said in a monotone. I gave Pearl a small smile " well I'm sore today so I figured I would take the day off. "Oh well of course, just let us know when you do these things" I sighed and smiled "well uh actually I'm really sore and there's a lot of things that needs to be done around the house can one of you stay" I said hoping that Pearl would be the one to stay. "I have missions to do today so Pearl will be more than happy to stay right Pearl" garnet mumbled. Pearl clasped her hands together in a glad manner "oh yes I love to clean" Pearl said. With that garnet parted ways and left for the temple while Pearl stayed with me. "What would you have me do first" I looked at my stairs and  blushed a bit embarrassed "Pearl can you carry me up the stairs" she blushed and agreed. She picked me up bridal style and walked up the stairs. I pointed to the door at the very end of the hall informing her that that was my room. She walked in and placed me on the bed. "So what would you like for me to do first" she said looking around. I grabbed a pen and a piece of paper that was in my nightstand and made a list. " you can familiarize yourself with the house and then after words here's the things I need to be done today." I said handing her the list. She nodded and then looked around " I'll come back when I'm finished" she said walking out. I laid on the bed and slowly drifted off to sleep.

After she handed me the list I looked around her room. Noting that this was her master bedroom I briefly stated that I would return once I've finished. Her house was mostly clean but you could never be to tidy. Since I was already upstairs I decided to start there first. Her bedroom was at the end of the hall. I walked into another room which made itself apparent it was the guest room. There was nothing fancy about it. Satin red covers and pillows just like in her bedroom. I closed the door and walked to the next door which was also a guest room. The same as before satin red covers and pillows. I closed the door and walked down stairs. Her living room as big and open and so was her kitchen in the back behind the stairs was a room that led to the basement, down there was a large tv and a few game systems a couch and some bean bag chairs. It was fairly neat but the color scheme was different instead of red which I had seen throughout most of the house it was a deep and inviting shade of blue with light tents of pink. I closed the door and made my way to the sliding doors, that led to the back yard. There was a large pool and a hot tub both where covered to prevent leaves from entering, she had a big back yard complete with a deck and grill. I went back inside and into the side door which led to the garage. There she had a lot of boxes stacked neatly against the wall, she had two cars one was black with purple tented Windows and the other was white with red tented Windows. Though both cars were in there prime it don't look like they had been driven for months. I closed the door and went to the washroom where she kept her cleaning supplies. I finished dusting and cleaning and then returned upstairs about an hour later with a basket of clothes.

I was good and sleep for about an hour until Pearl came in with a basket of neatly folded clothes. "Where would you like me to put these" she said. I pointed to a drawer signaling that's where they went after about 2 seconds of watching her I fell back asleep until I was woken back up 5 minutes later. "I've finished with the list you've given me" she said all preppy like. I slowly nodded and drifted back to sleep. Though this time was different. I felt like I was being watched so I opened one eye and stared at the tall pale figure looking down at me. "Yes Pearl" I said in a groggy voice. "Oh nothing nothing" she said looking away. After about another 5 minutes I caught her staring at me while I sleep again. This time despite the pain I shot up "is there any reason why you're watching me sleep" I questioned "oh no" she blushed "I just like to watch people sleep" she admitted a bit embarrassed. I stared at her for about another minute. "Pearl" I asked. She was looking down at her hands but still answered "yes k" she answered softly "would you like to talk about anything" I said slowly laying back down. A blush crept on her face "about that time in my room, why did you" I stopped her there "Pearl if I offended or bothered you in anyway.....I'm sorry" I said looking to the side. I felt a body press against me. I turned to see that I was face to face with Pearl "it's not that I didn't want to, it's just a bit confusing. I lost a.....friend that " her words sounded pained and full of heart break. I felt bad for her. "I'm sorry I had no idea," I said placing my hand on her shoulder "it's okay you couldn't have known" she said laying her head on my shoulder. "Pearl, you can't....you know die from a kiss" I said passing my hand down to her back. "I know.....it's what comes after that scares me" she said softly. "It doesn't have to go any further then a kiss" I said rubbing her back. We looked at each other and slowly started to lean in until our lips met and we kissed. Her lips were soft and sweet.

Our lips. Met. Hers were soft. I didn't plan on coming here doing this with her but she persuaded me. I mean you can't die from just a kiss right? We kissed for about 10-15 seconds she ran her hand through my hair tugging so lightly that you almost couldn't feel it. But I did. Her touch was warm. It was making me warm. I slowly closed my eyes and drifted off into the kiss. I felt myself wrap my arms around her neck and she warp hers around my back. We stayed like this for what felt like light years. It felt good. I closed my eyes and we both drifted off to sleep.
