*Sonic's POV *
It was known that Maurice the Hedgehog was gay but I had personally not come out to my friends yet. Never thought about it, and it never came up. Sure, I should have probably told Amy at some point that she would absolutely never have a chance with me, but she should have learned that by now from all the times I had run away from her.

At the ceremony, all my mother would bring to me were guys my age. Most of them immediately asked me to take off the mask, which, of course, I never did and ended up making them leave. Of course, why would someone actually go for someone they can't see? Someone who has secrets.

I was exhausted the next morning, even more so when I woke up extra early because Sage started crying. I picked her up and fed her, soothing her as she fell back asleep. I couldn't go back to sleep myself so I decided to go home after saying bye to my family. She always made sure guards would walk me out to the gate, some standing in front of me to cover my face from civilians until I was able to be as far away as possible where no one would question it.

I had learned by now that Sage actually pretty much enjoyed it when I ran. She found it fascinating and would giggle all the way to our destination.

I didn't go home, I went straight to Tails' house and opened the door using the spare key he had given me. He lived closer to Rouge than me, so I decided to crash on his couch. I knocked out with Sage on top of me.

"Sonic? What are you doing here?" I woke up when I no longer felt Sage in my arms and heard her giggling. She was on the floor, chasing after Tails' tails. How cute.

"I was too tired to go home, plus you live closer to Rouge than me. What time do we need to go?" I asked as I sat up.

"Actually. Now. The ceremony is about to be shown on the news and she wanted to watch it as a group. We are going out to eat as a group afterward, and the party is later tonight." I groaned at that as I stretched and stood up. "Will you tell them today?"

"Yes. I was planning to." I picked up Sage and yawned. "Hopefully, nothing interrupts me this time."

"Yeah." Tails chuckled, then walked to the door. "Let's go." 

Rouges house was walking distance so I didn't have to run. Thank chaos for that. I was exhausted. We knocked on her door, and she was quick to answer it.

"Finally. You are the last ones. It's about to start!" She grabbed our hands and dragged us in. Making us sit on her couch where I sat between Shadow and Silver and Tails sat on the couch adjacent to where I was.

"There they are!" Amy said as Manic, Sonia, and I appeared on the TV. She was sitting between Tails and Rouge. Blaze, and Knuckles, sitting on the floor in front of me behind the coffee table that held the popcorn and snacks. Of course, they couldn't tell it was me because of the suit, the mask, different colored gloves, and the different style I had in my quills.

"They're all so pretty." Blaze said, I glanced at Tails, feeling a bit nervous now. Tails made eye contact with me, I knew he was mentally telling me to tell them already. Most of the group agreed with what Blaze said, making me slightly tense up. Silver grabbed Sage from my arms and played around with her, making her giggle and stay calm.

"Oh, come on, you can't even tell how Maurice looks like. You can't possibly find him attractive. I bet he's hiding his face because he knows he's not like his family." Knuckles said while crossing his arms. Wow. Thanks, Knux.

"What are you talking about? I think he's very handsome. You don't have to look under the mask to tell." Rouge said, and suddenly, Tails reached for the popcorn, staring at me as he ate some.

I know! I know I have to tell them, but now I am uncomfortable!

I could see Shadow roll his eyes as he was very uninterested in this. I bet he was only here because Rouge made him. At least he wasn't attacking me, but that was most likely because I was still trying to avoid him.

"Oh! I know!" Rouge smirked. "Fuck. Marry. Kill. The triplets."

"What?" I coughed, Tails suddenly started laughing.

"Marry Sonia, out of the 3 she seems like the most sensitive one. Fuck Maurice, because, well look at him. Kill Manic, I've heard rumors about him." Amy said. Were they actually going along with this?!

"Fuck Sonia. Marry Manic. Kill Maurice. I don't need secrets in my life." Blaze said honestly.

"Fuck Maurice. Marry Sonia. Kill Manic." Rouge said, then pointed at Silver.

"Uhm. I guess." Silver said nervously, knowing he had to go along. "Fuck Maurice. Marry Manic. Kill Sonia." Rouge then pointed at Knuckles who seemed disturbed but gave in knowing Rouge wasn't going to drop it.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Tails looking at me, as disturbed as I was about all of this. Yet he proceeded to eat the popcorn and pay attention to all their answers.

"Fuck Manic. Marry Maurice. Kill Sonia." Knuckles finally said after a while of silence. Rouge proceeded to point at Tails.

"Ew. No." Tails said rather quickly. Rouge didn't push it since he was the youngest out of all of us but proceeded to point to Shadow.

"You HAVE to answer, Hun." Rouge said while giving him a side glare. She was scary.

Shadow glared back at her, but he soon got jabbed on the side, making him give in. He crossed his arms and looked away. "I guess." He scoffed. "Marry Sonia." He seemed very uncomfortable and annoyed, also very mad, and suddenly I was scared of sitting beside him. I couldn't believe he was actually answering. "Kill Manic. Fuck Maurice." He finally finished.

Kill me.

"Interesting." Rouge said with a smile, earning a growl from Rouge, and then she finally picked me. "Your turn, Blue."

I swear I wanted to kill Tails for continuing to snack during my time of need.

"I uh." I rubbed the back of my neck and stood up. "I don't think this game applies to me." I took a step back to the door, still looking at them but very much ready to run. "Very interesting answers. Really." I laughed nervously. Tails was holding in his laughter, catching everyone's attention, even Shadow's.

"It is very weird and disturbing to hear your answers." Tails laughed. "But maybe you should hear Sonic out, he has something-" I dashed away before Tails could finish talking, I knew I wasnt going to be able to tell them now. So maybe showing them would be better?

I dashed to the castle, forgetting how tired I was and changed into my suit and mask then dashed off again to Rouges house where I suddenly found Tails being interrogated, everyone but Shadow standing in front of him.

"He has to be the one to tell you! Not me! Sonic, where are you?!" He shouted.

"I am right here." I said, everyone turned to look at me as I took off my mask. "Maybe all of you should sit down." I invited them to sit so we could talk about this more calmly but now everyone was mad.

"Maybe you should have told them before they confessed they would mostly pick you as a sex toy." Tails said with a nervous laugh, earning some looks and glares.

"Maybe you should have kept your mouth shut." I pointed out to Tails who only nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, you are probably right." He stood up and walked to me, hiding behind me ever so slightly. (dejavu)

"Okay, well there is clearly something we all need to talk about." Tails continued them remove the mask from my face, I could clearly see everyone now.

They were all looking at me shocked, and mad and Shadow looking at me clearly disgusted. Yes, perhaps I should have mentioned this before the little game Rouge came up with about my siblings and I.

"How long have you known?" Knuckles asked Tails, he was mad.

"Sonic has never kept a secret from me." Tails said honestly. I wanted to cover his mouth, why was he being so honest.

"And you didnt think to tell us?" Amy asked Tails.

"I asked him not to. I am aware that I can trust you. It is not due to any lack of trust on my part. Rather, it is because this aspect of my life is one with which I am not entirely comfortable with. I harbored-" I immediately stopped talking. "Damn it with this suit!" I took off the tie and put my quills down like I usually have them.

"So fancy." Blaze said. "Not a doubt he is different when he is playing prince."

"What are you doing here, Sonic?" Rouge asked. "You have all the money and power if you stayed with your family so why are you here with us?"

"Shut up." I let out which immediately regretted it. Shadow was finally paying attention to everything that was going on. I pinched the bridge of my nose and shook my head. "I didnt say anything because I imagined you would start treating me differently. Strange how at the castle whenever I take off the mask, the guards think I am a nuisance and belong with the trash, but here I put the mask and you think I should be with people of class." I sighed.

"Sonic doesnt want you guys to treat him differently. You guys have known him for many years now, he was just afraid of losing the friendships he has now because of who his family is. Hes not 'Prince Maurice' he is Sonic the Hedgehog. They are two completely different people." Tails spoke for me, I was a bit relived for that and very grateful.

"Exactly. I just didnt want you guys to know me for something I am not. Yes, I am Aleenas son but that lifestyle is something I am not very comfortable with. I prefer to be free, to fight, to go out, to be known as the hero. I thought it was time you guys knew. It may not be important to me, having a second life, but I knew the longer I waited, the more I complicated things and I really dont want to lose our friendships over something so stupid."

"Yet you couldnt tell us this before we all gave our answers?" Silver spoke up. I blushed again.

"I panicked!" I laughed nervously and rubbed the back of my neck. "I wasnt expecting you guys to start saying such things! And who goes for the secretive type anyway?" I tried to defend myself.

"Exactly what I said." Blaze said.

"I am flattered but chaos. Chaos please dont ever play such thing again. At least not around me." I picked up Sage. "Well, todays been interesting. Never expected Shadow to actually answer either." His ear twitched. Why in chaos sake did I say that?

"What did he choose again?" Silver asked Blaze.

"To fuck Maurice." Rouge reminded him then looked at her growling best friend who was only holding back because Sage was here. "Dont worry, as long as you have her with you, you are safe." She patted Shadows shoulder.

I asked Silver to scooch over so I didnt have to sit next to Shadow and he thankfully did so. We watched the ceremony on TV as everyone started asking me questions.

Chaos, why do I suddenly feel so scared?
