It was October when Keith started not showing up,Lance was talking with Pidge and Hunk as they heard the door open.they looked over to Shiro and Allura in the doorway"paladins,where's Keith?"Shiro asked"we haven't seen him all day,Shiro."Lance replied"you say that like it's a good thing!"Allura exclaimed"we need Keith for Voltron and you act like we don't need him!"Lance crossed his arms"I never said that we didn't it's just..quieter  without him,which is better."Shiro then spoke up"maybe we should go look for him,he's vary likely to be in his room so Lance will look for him there."Lance shot up"why me?"Shiro raised an eyebrow at Lance"because whatever's going on is likely your fault."Allura grumbled,Lance groaned then began walking down the corridors.he hated being blamed for every time Keith had to act emo,he got to Keith's room and knocked"Keith,get out here will you?"he called"L-Lance,go away."Keith replied shakily.Lance grimaced"you ok,Keith?"there was a small silence"I'm fine,please leave!"Keith yelled,Lance felt a little hurt as he opened the door.Keith was on his bed covered in blankets with his head under a pillow,small whimpers coming from underneath"Lance,please leave me alone!"Keith cried.Lance sat on the edge of his bed timidly"h-hey,it's ok-" "no its not!you wouldn't see me the same way if I explained!"Lance brought his knees to his chest with a uncomfortable sigh"Keith...I don't have to understand,my mom always says that if you want to feel better you need to talk to someone."Keith whimpered"n-no,you'd be scared."Lance sighed and grabbed onto Keith's pillow and ripped it off.Keith shot up and looked at Lance,he looked different:his eyes were filled with a light yellow and his irises were a deep blue,his pale skin was now a light purple with dark purple stripes along his cheeks like his mother and his normal ears were not that of a garla.Keith opened his mouth revealing fangs and whispered"there,you see?you're scared!"tears slid down the sides of his face as he turned away,Lance was speechless.without knowing what to do he rubbed Keith's back till he calmed down"Keith...what's going on?"
