The sun was up high in the mid afternoon sky. The golden light shines through a pair of lavender curtains of a sleeping red eyed woman's room. Awakening from her slumber, the short woman rubs her eyes to a Saturday morning/afternoon. "Ahhhh, wonder what Yuu-san is doing...."

All the way across town a tall, messy black haired, man was going through store after store in order to find a special present for his girlfriend. Yuichiro Hyakuya was this man, and his girlfriend was Shinoa Hīragi. Looking around he finally found what he was looking for. "Alright tonight's our date, don't mess up now"

Entering her dining room, Shinoa was surprised to see a full plate of breakfast foods already prepared for her. A helping of salted scrambled eggs, tender crispy slices of bacon, golden brown toast spread with butter, a nice bowl of cereal, and a glass of orange juice with a note saying the following:

"Hey Shinoa, went over to your place to start your breakfast. Hopefully you like it, can't wait for our date tonight. I'll come over at 6.
~Your awesome boyfriend, Yuu"

The jester was sweet in itself, but the thought that he took his own time to prepare this for her almost made her cry happy tears. With that she sat down to eat her food, all the while with a bright smile plastered on her face.

Time skip to 6:

Yuu rang the doorbell to Shinoa's apartment and waited for her to let him in. When she arrived she looked at him questioningly. "Don't you have a spare key?" Yuu just casually walked in and said, "It'd be rude to just walk in without your permission Shinoa" She raised an eyebrow to that as she closed the door, "So this morning was an exception?" She said as she pointed to the finished plates of food on her dining table. Yuu just sheepishly rubbed his neck, "I mean you liked it didn't you?" Shinoa smiled teasingly and said, "Yes that was very sweet Yuu-san" She then walked up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

After that they decided to watch a movie on Netflix and just relax. (NO, this is not Netflix and chill get your minds out of the gutter, lol) The movie was getting good until Yuu heard Shinoa's stomach growl. She flushed a little in embarrassment, until she heard Yuu's stomach growl as well. In turn she giggled and they both decided they needed to eat. Yuu offered to cook, but Shinoa wanted to do something in return for this morning. So with that, she decided to make chocolate for a desert. She followed everything in the recipe but somehow it ended in a disaster. Chocolate was on the counter and floor, it looked a little burnt, and Shinoa was left crying a little in the kitchen.

Yuu came in to check on Shinoa only to find her sobbing on the ground. He quickly went up to hug her and make sure she was ok. In between her sobs he could here her saying, "I'm a useless girlfriend, I can't even cook anything, I just keep on falling over" Yuu's grip on his hug got tighter. "Don't say that you're the best girlfriend I could have and the only one I ever will...."

It was time...(all right get ready, here's the real ship moment)

Yuu stopped hugging Shinoa and bent down on one knee. Shinoa gasped as he went for his pocket and got out a black box and opened it. Inside was a simple silvered band ring with a green gemstone. "Shinoa Hīragi, you are the most amazing woman I have ever met. Everyday when I think about you, I'm always happy. Everyday if I ever think that you aren't happy, I feel it is my job to make sure your smile will always be there. I would gladly die for you, and then go through another hell just to find you once more. You say you keep falling, then I'll just have to keep catching you. Shinoa.....will you marry me?"

The next thing Yuu knew he was tackled down by the petite woman being hugged so tightly by her. She was crying happy tears and sobbing away into his chest.

Falling is a part of life. Once you're down at the bottom, only thing left to do is get back up. Sometimes it seems like hell to do that, but there's always someone willing to lend a hand. You only need to remember, when you fall....
