"Are you sure you have everything?" Felicity asks and I roll my eyes.

"Yes mother," I sass back.

"Okay, you don't get to sass me because this is the first time since college that we're actually going our own ways! And you're leaving me with them!" She says, gesturing at a slightly offended Oliver and Diggle.

I give her a hug and tell her, "You'll manage Blabber-Mouth. You always do." I say, tears starting to prick at my eyes.

"Oh shut up Ms. Independent." She laughs, wiping away her own tears.

"Oliver," I say holding out my hand for a bro-hug.

"Rani," he says back, taking my hand as a rare smile graces his face.

"Take care of her for me," I ask.

"Always." He replies and I pull away.

"John," I smile before standing on my tiptoes to give him a hug. "Make sure those two actually end together please."

I can hear him chuckle. "Believe me Raymond I've been doing my best."

I pull away with a smile and turn back to the team before grabbing my bags. "Well, I guess this is it."

"Oh call me when you get there!" Felicity adds.

"I will, now stop worrying about me and go check out that break in at the applied sciences building!" I smile before waving goodbye to my team and heading into the train station.

Was I sad that I was leaving Olie, Dig, and Felicity: the one person I've had by my side since MIT? Hell, yes.

But I'm kinda done with Starling and I need a fresh start somewhere new. But I was so excited about Central City being my new somewhere.....I didn't look where I was going.

And I collided with some guy, scaring the crap out of both of us.

"Oh my god I am sorry!" I say.

"No, it was probably my fault." The guy says meeting my glance. Hm, handsome.

"You're good," I say, smiling before walking away.

So I'm here sitting on the bench waiting for my train and catching a couple Pokemon while I'm at it when I notice the same guy I crashed into walk by. Again.

And again.

And again.

Done with the deja-vu, I walk up to him on his fifth lap and ask, "Um are you lost?"

"Whaaat? I don't know what you're talking about." He responds.

"Nice try," I smile. "I've been sitting here and you've been going in circles. A lot."

"Yeah," he replies, scratching the back of his neck. "Um, I've never been here before and I....umm......don't know how to get out of the station."

"Don't worry, I know how confusing this place can be....." I trail off, realizing I don't know mystery guy's name.

"Barry." He finishes. "I mean it's really Bartholomew but...yeah that's pretty bad."

"Completely understandable. I'm Rani and I shall lead you to your freedom."

Barry laughs and we make small talk the rest of the way to the exit. He's apparently from Central City and works for the CCPD as a forensic scientist and is chasing down a lead. Which is very convenient since I've got a job interview there.

"Really?" Barry asks. "For what job?"

"The department's computer genius," I respond.

"Not bad!" Barry remarks. "I'll be sure to put in a good word for you!"

"Oh my god that would be amazing Barry, thank you," I respond, realizing we're at the doors out.

"So, I guess I'll see you around then?" He asks hopefully.

"I guess so," I respond. "Bye Barry."

"Bye Rani." He smiles back before walking out the doors to Starling City.

And for the rest of the trip, that excitement I had only grew. So much so that when I got off the train and saw Ronnie waiting for me there I nearly tackled him with a hug.

But I mean, I probably would have done that anyway.

"Hey there Little R," Ronnie says, throwing me over his should like when we were twelve and grabbing my bags. "How was the train ride?"

"Surprising good," I respond. "Any hope in you putting me down?"

"Not a chance." He replies with a laugh.

"That's what I figured," I say, unable to keep a smile off my face as he carried me over his shoulder out of the station. We got a ton of weird stares but I didn't care. I was home.

 "So where are we going?"

"Well, I figured you would want to go to the apartment you rented out to drop off your stuff and then head to STAR Labs?" He asks looking up at me. "Cait and Cisco are really excited to see you again."

"Sounds like a plan!" I say before letting out a squeak as Ronnie suddenly drops me back on my feet.

"Damn it, Ronnie!" I say, flattening out my shirt.

He just smirks and gets in the driver's seat. "Get's you every single time."

I shake my head and climb in the passenger's seat and turn on the radio and get really excited when Maps comes on.

We blast the radio and jam out all the way to my new apartment and to STAR labs.

We walk through the revolving door and into the Cortex to see Caitlin and Cisco waiting there with CANDY!!!!!

"Hey, gurl," Cisco greets and I laugh responding with the same girly tone, giving him a hug. "Hey, gurlfriend!"

I pull away and grab Caitlin in a hug, "I've missed you,"

"Oh, I've missed you loads, Rani." She replies with a little Caitlin laugh.

"Hold up!" I say to her, quickly pulling away, "I need to see it."

Caitlin and Ronnie blush and she holds out her hand with the ring on it. "It's beautiful."

"You helped me pick it out."

"I know."

"Oh god just get married already," Another voice says and we look up at the direction of the voice.

"Oh screw off Hartley," Cisco says.

"You first," Hartley responds.

"You walked into that one," Caitlin said quietly and we giggle quietly

"Just leave," I say. "Please? I'm actually having a really great day."

"Only because you said please," Hartley says and walks out of the room and we kinda sit in silence until Ronnie speaks up.

"So that was an awkward silence. How about we hit Jitters. Get some coffee since it's too early for drinks." Cisco cuts in. "I'm pretty sure Starling doesn't have a good coffee place like how we do."

"Are you sure Dr. Wells doesn't need you guys for anything? You've got like a week until the particle accelerator turns on." I ask. "I don't want to get in the way of your work."

"There is work for the day but it can wait," I voice comes from the entrance of the Cortex. "Pleased to see you arrived safely, Ms. Raymond."

"Good to see you too Dr. Wells," I smile. 

"Take the day off, all of you. And I expect to see you here for the celebrations next week?"

I smile, "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"Good, I'll see the rest of you tomorrow." He says and walks out of the room.

Ronnie shrugs and we all leave STAR labs and head to Jitters, laughing, joking and talking. I'm finally home. And it's never felt better.
