Misoka looked at the other six with a shy look on her face. She wasn't sure what to say. The other members didn't say anything for a few seconds. But Ryuu finally broke the silence by saying, "Hi! Welcome to S.A. Misoka. I'm Ryuu Tsuji". Misoka finally smiled and said, "Nice to meet you Ryuu". The others then introduced themselves to Misoka. "So, Tadashi, you didn't tell us that your family was adopting," Jun pointed out. "I wanted it to be a surprise, right Miso?" "I told you to stop calling me that!" she answered back defensively. "But yes, you did". "I'm guessing Tadashi found a nickname for you?" Kei asked politely. "Yep. When Mom first asked what I wanted for dinner, I told her, 'Miso soup if you don't mind' and Tadashi started calling me Miso. He also calls Miso because of my name," Misoka explained. "That is SO CUTE!" Akira exclaimed as she hugged Misoka. Misoka just laughed and hugged her back. "Your just in time for my tea and snacks!" Akira told Misoka. "Today's tea is a fresh, green, herbal tea and I made doughnuts," she explained. Everyone sat down and started to eat. Suddenly, Misoka felt something moving on her head. "What's on my head?" she asked slowly. "Chi-Chi, get down!" Ryuu ordered the mystery creature. He carefully picked up the creature off of Misoka's head. "Sorry Misoka, Chi-Chi here is quite the energetic chinchilla," Ryuu apologized quickly. "You have a chinchilla? I love chinchillas! I've always wanted to meet one in real life!" Misoka exclaimed happily. Ryuu and Misoka looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds. All was silent. "Do you want to hold her?" he asked her, breaking the silence once again. "Sure! I'd love to," she replied as he handed her the chinchilla. Chi-Chi seemed really happy and relaxed in Misoka's arms. "Aw....." Misoka said quietly. She smiled as Chi-Chi fell asleep. "I think it's time for her to go back to her cage," Ryuu said quietly. Misoka nodded and slowly handed Chi-Chi to him. Ryuu put the small, gray chinchilla in the cage and closed it. He walked back to the others and sat down. "So, Misoka, I guess what we all want to know is how you got into S.A. without any of the other seven leaving," Kei said kindly. "Well, I have really good grades for my age, in fact, I skipped a grade. Mom said that my grades were so good that they were S.A. worthy. It wasn't high enough to beat Ryuu but she put me in S.A. anyway. She said I'll get to stay as long as I keep up my grades," Misoka explained them. "Ah, I see," Megumi wrote on her notebook. "Well, welcome to S.A.!" Jun replied. Misoka beamed and started to eat her doughnut. Ryuu noticed that it had chocolate frosting and sprinkles. He reached for the plate of doughnuts and grabbed the same kind. He knew one thing, this was gonna be a very interesting year.
