A few moments later,
At U.A.,
Afternoon...
Third Person's POV
All students returns safely at last after fighting Fake Akumas back at USJ. Even without them finishing the clones off, they eventually win when the clones suddenly disappear after Akuma dies just now. And now, everyone is gathering at the compound in front outside U.A. building while waiting for Akimi to wake up.
Takeru and Kagayakin arrive at U.A. later than Ikki due to the gadget complication, causing them to land somewhere else except for Ikki who right now, is in infirmary with Akimi, patiently waiting for her to open her eyes after passing out due to exhaustion. Kirishima is there accompanying Akimi too but Midoriya and Shigaraki are nowhere to be seen.
"Everything... Is over, right?" Kaminari speaks up to break the awkward silence. "You're indeed correct, Chargebolt. Akuma... Is finally defeated." Takeru answers him, nodding his head in agreement.
"Um, may I ask, but who are you two actually?" Ashido asks the two young adult men in curiousity. "Ah yes, we haven't introduced ourselves. I'm Inspector Takeru Tsukauchi and this man standing beside me is Kagayakin Mizuhara, my assistant. We are both working in police department in the future. My uncle is the one you called Naomasa Tsukauchi here in the past." Takeru smiles genuinely at the wannabe heroes.
"Oh, you mean that inspector who led the operation to capture the League of Villains before!" Sero says in realization. "You're his niece?" Hagakure asks excitedly. Takeru nods while smiling at them.
"Are we done here? Ikki and Akimi sure are taking quite a while." Kagayakin frowns, not wanting to stay here any longer. "Be patient, Kagayakin. Akimi is still unconscious." Takeru shakes his head in disagreement. "I wanted to do that as soon as possible. We can't keep their parents waiting, right?" Kagayakin defends himself.
"I know, but--"
"You two are noisy as usual I see." Ikki suddenly interupts both of the male adults. "Ikki, where is Akimi?" The blonde-haired man asks the young teen eagerly. "She is still unconscious." Ikki answers, scratching his brown hair. The heroes in training stare at the boy in curiousity, especially Bakugou and Uraraka.
"What?! Stop staring at me, you extras!" Ikki snaps, feeling irritated with all the stares. "That feisty and rude attitude... It can't be..." Everyone then turns to look at Bakugou who is now the target of the long stares.
"Stare...."
"What?!" Now it's Bakugou's turn to snap. Ikki stares at him too before approaching the blonde-haired boy. "Yo, stupid Old Man." He rudely greets him in a cheeky tone along with a mocking smirk. Bakugou is about to yell at his face but remains silent when he hears the word 'Old Man'.
"Hell no..." Bakugou stares at Ikki in disbelief. "Hell yes." The younger teen laughs at him sarcastically. "WHY THE HELL I HAVE A BRATTY BRAT LIKE YOU?! AND WHO IS MY FREAKING WIFE?! AND THERE IS NO WAY I HAVE A BRAT IN THE FUTURE! AHHHHH!" Bakugou yells loudly at the top of his lungs. Ikki relaxingly points his finger to a certain cute brunette who is watching the whole commotion in excitement.
"URARAKA?!" Their classmates holler in surprise. "Eh?" Uraraka, who is still confused, stands there cluelessly. "Yo, Mom." Ikki politely greets her with a warm smile.
"W-wha-- Y-You're m-m-m-my c-c-c-child?!" Uraraka stutters, her jaw drops wide open. "Yes, I am, Mom. And that scum there is your dearest husband." Ikki laughs as he points to a certain shock porcupine.
"B-Bakugou-kun?! / Uraraka?!" Both future parents of Ikki scream. Ikki laughs his heart out, chibi tears of happiness fall from his eyes due to laughing a lot. "Waaaah, so they really ended up together!" Hagakure squeals.
"Dude, I never knew you have a thing for Uraraka." Kaminari slightly elbows Bakugou while grinning proudly at him. "I WILL KILL YOU, DUNCE FACE." The ash blonde threatens, already lightening up some sparks in his palms.
They all go on and on about the fated couple before Ikki burst out everything about their future partners, turning the whole event upside down...
....
In infirmary...
Kirishima's POV
Izuku, where are you? Where did you go off to...?
I breathe a heavy sigh of worry. I can't find Izuku just now which really concern me. I keep wondering where did she go. Even Shigaraki isn't nowhere to be found.
I stare at Akimi who is sleeping very soundly. "Mama... Papa..." A tear escapes her eye when utters those words in her sleep. "Akimi, everything is fine now. I'm here..." I say in soothing tone, stroking her silky black hair gently. Her big, round eyes slowly flutter open.
"Papa...?" Akimi sleepily utters, gazing at me with her half-asleep, tired eyes. "Yep." I answer, grinning at her widely. She suddenly attacks me with a bear hug, almost cause me to fall back from the chair. "Y-You're fine! I'm so glad!" She cries out in happiness, her tears stain my tops. I pat her small back reassuringly to calm her down.
"Where... Where is Mama...?" Akimi asks me as she breaks the hug. "A-About that..." I scratch my spiky hair in guilt, not knowing how to answer her question. "Papa, where is Mama?" She asks again, shaking my body. "S-She is looking for Shigaraki, I think..." Those words suddenly blurt out without me thinking twice.
Akimi stares at me long before letting me go,perharps she is satisfied with my answer. "I see... I'm glad those two are doing good..." She displays a smile but somehow, it seems forceful to me.
"Akimi..." I say her name lowly. "I'm okay. It's just... I at least want to see her for the last time... Before I return to the future..." She explains, a sad smile musters on her lips.
"W-Wait, I will find her--"
"It's alright, Papa. She might have an important business with Uncle Tenko." Akimi pulls my sleeve to stop me, beggingly stares at me with her big heterochromia eyes. I sigh and hesitantly nod at her.
Izuku... Please come back soon! Don't make our future daughter sad like this...
....
Meanwhile...
Midoriya's POV
"Shigaraki, wait! I said wait!" I yell, trying to stop Shigaraki from leaving. As soon as everything end just now, I notice he secretly left the scene without everyone realized so I quickly chased after him.
Shigaraki groans in frustration as he turns around now facing me. "What?" He rudely snarls, frowning his eyebrows. "Where are you going?" I ask him in curiousity. "Wherever." He stares at me long with his crimson eyes that somehow fill with hidden sadness.
"Please don't go." I beg, slowly walking closer to my cousin. He steps back everytime I get closed to him. "And why would you care?" He coldly asks, averting his eyes from my soft gaze.
"I care for you because you're my family." I tell Shigaraki in calming tone, gently hold his hands in mine to convince him. He looks quite shock. "Don't touch me! I'll only hurt you!" Shigaraki warns in panic. "It's okay. You won't hurt me." I assure him, displaying the gentlest smile I have.
"Why... Why did you treat me so nicely? I tried to kill you many times already, Midoriya! But you... You..." I hug Shigaraki warmly and pat his back to calm him down. "I told you, didn't I? Everything is fine now. We are family. If you like, we can have a fresh start together and get to know each other more." I suggestively state, smiling in calmness.
To think that he holds grudge against All Might because he never came to save him and his family. So I will be the one to save him.
Shigaraki slowly hugs me back in hesitation, sniffling and sobbing can be heard from him. I hum and let him cries his heart out so he can feel better.
.....
A few minutes later,
Outside U.A. building,
Afternoon...
Third Person's POV
All people from the future are ready to return at last. The pro heroes and the future heroes all gather around them to see them for the last time. They all are waiting for someone. Kirishima worriedly looks around searching for someone -- Izuku Midoriya -- when suddenly, a forest haired-girl and a male bluette appears with his hood up to hide his face. "Hey guys!" She happily greets them. "Izuku, where did you go?! You got me worried a lot!" He says in relief. "Sorry." She answers sheepishly before her friends gather around her and Shigaraki which causes the former villain to get angry.
Akimi just stares at her parents in sadness when she suddenky feels a warm sensation wrapping her hand. "Ikki..." She sadly utters, trying her best to hold back her tears. "What are you crying about? You'll eventually see your parents back in the future, right?" Ikki says, holding her hand much tighter.
"I know, but what if I fail? And the future didn't change even a bit?" Akimi doubtly states in fear. Ikki looks at her with a soft gaze, shaking his head todeny her statement. "You're wrong. The future has completely change now. Because Akuma killed one of her parents in the past, it will cause a huge change in the future. Which mean... She never exists at all in the future anymore, as if she is never born. She won't come into your life so you're a single child now. Even your lifestyle will change. And once we return to the future, our memories we have with your sister... Will fade away instantly..." He explains to Akimi to assure her.
"So did these people's memories... They won't remember us... Or this event that occured..." Ikki guiltly mutters to himself. "What are you muttering about?" Akimi confusedly asks him but he remains silent, afraid to tell her the hurtful fact.
"Well, since everyone is already here, I guess it's a good time to say our last goodbye." Takeru interupts then to cut of the chattering. Akimi clenches her trembling fist when she hears that, biting on her bottom lip to hold back her tears that eventually leak out without the others noticing.
"So now, Kagayakin." Takeru turns to look at his assistant, nodding his head as a sign to start something. He nods back in seriousness, stepping forward as his eyes fixate on the young students.
"I'm sorry to say this but... I need to erase all of your memories of this event." Kagayakin says which causes everyone to gasp in shock, including Akimi.
"WHAT?!"
"Like I said." Kagayakin replies calmly. "Erase... Our memories?" Midoriya mutters lowly, sadness clouds her freckled face. "But why?!" Kirishima angrily yells at him, completely disagrees with Kagayakin's statement.
"It's all because it was forbidden for us to meet you here, in the past. And we are not supposed to meet you all too, because we afraid this will affect the future in some ways we don't know so in order to make sure there is no more drastic change, we will erase your memories you have with us. I will also erase and change the memories we have here with my Quirk. Do not fret. I will just alter and erase the memories of this event. I won't touch the rest of it. " Kagayakin assures to convince them.
Kagayakin Mizuhara, Quirk, Memory Manipulation. He can restore, erase or change someone's memories at his will. He can also set a timer for one's memories to alter, fade or restore. He can also erase/change/restore his own memories.
"No way..." The students sigh in defeat. Akimi just stares at Kagayakin and then her parents in disbelief. "So, I will start the operation now--"
Before Kagayakin finishes his words, Akimi jumps toward Kirishima and Midoriya. Tears fall from her no longer black eyes -- red and green irises -- as she cries from the top of her lungs in the arms of her beloved ones.
Everyone is extremely shocked with her sudden outburst. Kirishima and Midoriya look at her sadly and hug her back. "Oh, Akimi..." Midoriya utters as she rubs her back. "Come on, don't cry! You will meet our future selves soon, right?" Kirishima tries to lighten up the mood but it only makes Akimi cries more and louder. Kirishima's eyes twitch in guilt.
Midoriya tugs a sad smile as she strokes Akimi's hair. "Akimi, even if we forget about, our hearts and feelings will remain connected. So, don't cry. I will always remember you... Deep in my heart." She softly whispers at her, displaying a warm smile. Akimi's eyes tremble as she clutches on her top desperately.
"I want to remember you both... I want to remember these moments... I will lose all my memories I had with Tsukimi-neechan once I return to the future... I will completely forget her... I won't be able to remember her anymore... And now I will forget the past you too, the pastselves of my parents... I don't want this!!!" Akimi screams in desperation. Midoriya still stays calm and just rubs her back.
"Akimi..." Kagayakin seems guilty to continue his duty. Takeru walks to the 13 year-old girl and pats her small shoulder. "Akimi, we need to go now. I understand your feelings but... We are doing this for the future's sake." Takeru says sympethically, sympathize with the girl's feelings yet there is nothing he can do about it.
Akimi hesitantly breaks apart from her parents, still sobbing and sniffling. "A-At least, please take these..." She utters under her breath, taking off her two green and red stripes wristbands from both her wrists and gives each one of them to Kirishima and Midoriya.
"Can you keep these... For me?" Akimi demands. "But they look like something important to you..." Kirishima says in dilemma. "They are important. You two... The future you and Mama gave them to me as my birthday gifts. But I want to give them to both of you now... So you can remember me even after the memories you make with me... Fade." Akimi smiles sorrowfully as tears still escape her eyes.
Kirishima and Midoriya smile and hug her tightly. "We will take a good care of these. We promise." Midoriya grins at Akimi widely. Akimi reluctantly smiles back before walking back to Ikki. Ikki gets the message and immediately pulls her into a tight embrace.
Kagayakin nods and reaches out his arm to his front, a yellowish-golden like light emits from his hands. In an instant, the whole compound, in fact, the whole school ground is shining with golden like. "Once we open our eyes by tomorrow's sunrise, the memories we have here will only be a distant dream we shared together, forgotten and disappear from the world." As soon as Kagayakin finishes saying that, the light disappears.
Akimi cries in the embrace. She doesn't want to sleep. She wants to remember these memorable moments but what choice she has? She will eventually forget about them once she wakes up from her slumber tomorrow.
"Alright, now everything is done." Takeru states in relief. He can feel the burden he carried lighten up. Kagayakin nods and walks back to the three people from the future. He gives the time travel watch to Akimi. She sniffles as she puts it on.
"Are you two ready, Akimi, Ikki?" Kagayakin asks to make sure. The two teens nod. Ikki turns to look at her future parents. "See you again, Mom, Dad." He smiles warmly as his body shines with yellowish light, same thing happen to Akimi, Kagayakin and Takeru.
"See you again, Ikki, Akimi! We will surely miss you!" - Uraraka.
"Don't trouble your parents too much!" - Hagakure
"I hope you both become great heroes one day!" - Yaoyorozu.
"Don't forget to invite me to your wedding with Akimi, Ikki!" - Kaminari.
"We will meet in the future so no need to be emotional!" - Sero
Everyone keeps shouting words of encouragement. Midoriya remains silent for some reason, looking down on her feet. Kirishima notices this and slowly holds her hand tighter.
"Mama, Papa, I love you two!" Akimi yells, her body shines with greenish light as tears flow down her cheeks. 'Auntie Ashido... I forgive you... I bet you have changed by now...' she thinks to herself.
Midoriya is about to open her mouth when all people from the future already disappear, consume by the light, finally return to the future.
Tears fell from her green eyes at last, after holding back for too long. She hugs her lover and cries in his chest. "I love you too... Akimi..." She utters to herself. Kirishima looks at her sadly and hugs her back warmly. All of the girls cry
.....
Nighttime,
Kirishima's bedroom...
Kirishima's POV
"Are you sure you don't want to sleep?" I ask my girlfriend who is laying next to me in my bed. She nods lightly, sadness plasters on her face. "I miss Akimi." She confesses. I stroke her hair to comfort her. "I don't want to forget her." She sobs, burying her face in my chest.
"I don't want to but there's nothing we can do." I say in calming tone but she still cries. I kiss her forehead. "Eijiro, my chest hurts... I... I don't want this... I want to see her..." She sobs softly. I stare at her in pity before getting on top of her. "I can help you forget those pains and feelings, Izuku." I whisper into her ear gently.
"P-Please... I don't want this pain in my chest anymore..." Izuku says in desperation, tears escape her eyes once again.
"I love you, Eijiro..."
"I love you too..."
As we utter those sweet words, we continue our long night...
.....
Next morning,
Kirishima's room...
Midoriya's POV
Huh...? It's morning already...? What happens yesterday...?
I open my eyes half-lid and see Eijiro sleeping soundly next to me before I walk to the curtain. I am right. It is already morning.
I was sure I spend my night together with Eijiro... But why did I feel like I'm missing something...?
My eys then shift to a pair of green red stripes wristbands on Eijiro's study table. My eyes suddenly glow as I take one wristband.
"A..." I want to say something but that word can't come out. Tears unconsciously fall from my eyes.
"Oh, Izu... You're already up..." Eijiro utters sleepily as he gets up, exposing his bare body. "Izu, you okay? Why are you crying?!" He asks in panic. "Huh...?" I turn to look at him in confusion. Tears still flow down on my cheeks.
"I... I don't know..." I tell my boyfriend, still shedding globs of tears.
I honestly feel like... I'm missing something... Something very important in my life... But I knew I will find it again.
Eijiro walks to me and hugs me tightly. I bury my face in his chest and cry in the hug silently.
I know we will meet again...
....
A few days later....
Third Person's POV
This world is really a mystery. The Class 1-A teachers and the pro heroes all woke up in a dizzy, confusion state one day. All of them didn't remember what had happened for the oast few days before except for certain things.
The League of Villains' members are gone, except for their leader. Izuku then told everyone the truth about Shigaraki -- her connection with him -- and now, he is under All Might's care and now everything returns to normal today.
Izuku is walking hand in hand with Eijiro to school. The wind suddenly blows up gently, gaining Midoriya's attention. "Today... Is a good day, right?" She says nostalgically. "Yeah, you're right. I wonder why... But I feel like I'm missing something. But I don't know what it is..." Kirishima says in suspicion. "No matter what it is, we will surely find it back one day..." Izuku calmly utters as she holds his hand tighter. Both of them wear the mysterious yet precious wristbands, as a sign of remembrannce
"Hey, Eijiro... Will you... Help me find the thing we lost...?" She asks him in low voice. He smiles warmly and intertwines his fingers with hers. "Izuku... I will help you no matter how small the matter is. I'll be there for you always... I will go through anything if it means to make you happy..." He whispers into her ear softly. She smiles and utters;
"I'll be there for you, by your side too, Eijiro... And I love you so much..."
"I love you too, Izuku..."
As those words leave their mouth, they seal their love with the sweetest kiss they ever had in their life...
