Third person POV.

John sat in his room at 1am looking through his social media. He scrolled through pictures of he and his friends.

He used to live in New york for a short while but his father had forced him to move back to South Carolina. He moved back that year. His sophomore year. Freshman years for him was the best. He has the best group of friends that consisted of, Marquis de Lafayette or laff, Hercules Mulligan, and the sassy Schuyler sisters, Eliza, Angelica, and Peggy.

John then had an idea. He went to his pictures and posted a picture of him and his friends. He posted it on his social media with the captions "Best friends EVER! I miss you guys!"

He smiled satisfied with what he posted. John was bored so he went on youtube and began to watch H20 Delirious.

John was merely half way through the video when his phone ding.

*AlexanderHam. Liked your photo!

"Whos alexander...?" John wondered. His phone dinged again

John tapped the notification and read it
AlexanderHam: Nice photo! By the way, Hi im Alexander! =)

John pondered for a while on wether or not to respond. He finally decided on responding.

TurtleBoi🐢: Thanks! And uh..Hi?

Almost right away he answered back.

AlexanderHam: Sorry that must've been weird. I just got an account and you came up in my recommended friends? I decided to just say hi. Sorry if it came out odd and creepy!

TurtleBoi🐢: its all good, no worries. Im John Laurens

John chuckled at how much this boy typed; and so quickly too.

AlexanderHam: Ok good! Nice name! So you're from New York?

TurtleBoi🐢: Thanks and Nah im from South caroline. Which is where i am now. But i used to live in New york. I might move back.

AlexanderHam: wow, well at least its a little close to New York!

TurtleBoi🐢: haha yeah, now i told you where im from. Where are you from?

AlexanderHam: Im from the Caribbean in Nevis. Im still there right now.

John was surprised. The Caribbean? That was really far.

TurtleBoi🐢: Thats really far!

AlexanderHam: You're right! Anyways, i gotta go. I have work later.

TurtleBoi🐢: lol ok see you tomorrow Alexander.

AlexanderHam: bye!

AlexanderHam went offline.

John sighed. Seems he made another friend that's far. He was tired. He had classes. He turned off his phone and went to sleep.
