It was a bright sunny morning on a cold, April day. Dakota rolled out of bed, looked up at the clock, and panicked. It was already 8:30. She had overslept. She had an interview at 9:00 with Kelly & Michael. She had exactly a half hour to get a shower, get dressed, grab something to eat, and make it to the studio. She decided that the shower and breakfast would have to wait; she would put a dress on, throw her hair into a ponytail, and be on her way.

One month before, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan had finished wrapping up their new movie, "Fifty Shades of Grey." It had been a rough ride, but they got through it. Between all the bickering between Sam and Erica, getting Jamie comfortable enough to play a man like Christian Grey, and convincing her family that she was making a smart career move, she was glad it was finally over. She enjoyed the time immensely but was relieved that the initial movie was finished and they could move on to promoting it up until the release date, then start on the sequels. She hoped that those wouldn't be quite as stressful. Two things were for sure: Jamie was now quite comfortable in Christian's shoes and Dakota's family had lightened up to the idea of her playing Anastasia Steele, even though she still hadn't convinced them to see all of her recent hard work.

As she hailed a cab, she called the studio to tell them she was running late. She hopped in once the cab pulled up and began doing her makeup with the help of her compact mirror. She arrived with three minutes to spare as she bolted out of the cab and into the building. The interview went as planned with all of the usual questions- what it was like to play in such a huge film, how she's handling everything, her relationships with Sam, Jamie, and the rest of her co-stars, etc. After it was finished, she decided to head out for brunch. She turned the volume on her phone back on and noticed she'd missed a call from Jamie. She listened to his voicemail.

"Hey Dakota, Jamie here. Just letting you know I'm in town and thought we could meet to catch up. I saw the interview this morning- you did well! Call me."
