Yuito POV:

It was quite a rush, soaring through the air. I was able to land by pulling up rocks and parts of the ground to slow my descent. I see that I truly am in the Emerald Forest. My sisters told me about how they proved themselves, now it's my turn. I noticed Azurda moving in my jacket like he was trying to escape and I opened it a little. Guess I didn't notice with all the rush.

Yuito: Sorry about that Gramps.

Azurda: (Groans) Next time warn me when we're about to do something that involves getting propelled into the air.

Yuito: I will, sorry. Try to remain inside, there are cameras in the forest.

Azurda goes back inside my jacket and I keep walking. I use my technopathy to try and track where they are. It's not as accurate as my helmet, but it's less conspicuous. I Brain talk to the others while still walking forward.

Brain Talk

Yuito: I'm on the ground. How's everyone else doing?

Lanz: IT WAS AWESOME! I never felt this excited.

Eunie: I know. What a rush!

Karen: Where's Pyra?

I hear screaming coming from above and see Pyra falling. How the hell is she there?

Pyra: AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I run to her and catch her before she ends up splattering all over the ground. She freezes up for a second before she realizes I caught her. I help her onto the ground and she is still trying to process what happened.

Pyra: I-I'm... here...

Karen: Good. So Yuito and Pyra are partners, what about you two?

Lanz: We're partners too.

Eunie: I just fired a few times to slow my descent while Lanz just broke through every tree in his path.

Lanz: They also slowed my descent.

Karen: I've got no partner, but I'm going to keep it that way, for now at least.

Yuito: Alright. Let's head to the temple and get those relics. Try to avoid others to not affect what teams they get assigned to.

Group: Roger!

Brain Talk End

Yuito: Let's head to the temple. It shouldn't be too far.

Pyra: Okay. This Hunter stuff is not like how we fought before.

Yuito: Things change Pyra.

Pyra: Unfortunately.

Yuito: How did you start falling down like that?

Pyra: I tried using the sword to slow my descent like you guys, but in my panic, made the burst too powerful and sent myself into the sky.

Yuito: Well, we are here to learn. So don't worry about it.

The two of us head start walking to the temple and using our mental abilities to keep track of the others. Ozpin and Glynda said they would evaluate us, so we just got to keep our plan subtle. Our scanners show that Ruby and Weiss have paired up while Blake and Yang have paired up.

I then see something on the ground. I pick it up and turn it around. I'm shocked. It has blood and bits of flesh on it. Like it was attached to something's body and got ripped off. I know what this belongs to. The Chimeras are here.

Yuito: We need to move.

Pyra: What's wrong?

Yuito: We got to help the others. There's more than just Grimm here.

Pyra: R-right.

The two of us run to try and help the others. I know this goes against our plan, but they don't know about the Chimeras.

Karen POV:

Walking through this forest reminds me of something. It reminds me of when everyone was still alive. When still was still there.

Karen: (Sad) Alice.

Flashback

Karen: Alice, what's on your mind?

Alice: Oh, it's nothing, Karen. I'm just hoping Fubuki is okay. It's been months since he disappeared with the others.

Karen says

In the end, I failed to keep it. That damn Relic of Destruction ended up sending me to this other world. Fubuki, we waited, we searched for you. But now I know the truth: You left us. Those damn Red Strings Kasane had sent you all away, but you were probably busy trying to improve another world instead of ours. There's nothing to go back to.

I see something in the bushes. I go up to it and see something shocking. I pick it up and see the metal body with wires dangling out and blood spilling from its frame.

Karen: God damn Chimeras!

I began to run to the temple, hoping that everyone is there so we can fight together. When it comes to Chimeras, there's never just one.

No POV:

Ozpin and Glynda still remain on the cliff and are watching everything through their scrolls. Glynda approaches Ozpin to tell him about the status of everyone.

Glynda: Our last pair has been formed, sir. Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy, I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, he's probably better off than Ms. Nikos and Ms. Omega. I don't care what they're transcripts say, that Jaune fellow is not suited for this level of combat, and this Lanz is a total wrecking ball. I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes. Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year? Professor Ozpin?

Ozpin: Hm...

Ozpin is looking at his scroll and sees Yuito, Pyra, and Kare running. He also notices the metal frame and the body they found in the forest.

Eunie and Lanz come across Pyra and Jaune and decide to follow them. They come across a cave with a drawing of a Deathstalker being chased by warriors.

Jaune: Think this is it?

Lanz: It's got to be.

The four walk through the cave with Jaune holding a torch.

Pyrrha: I'm not sure this is it.

Lanz: When has there never been a temple inside of a cave before? This sort of thing is in every video game and anime ever made.

Eunie: Why are you always such a Moppet?

The torch blows out.

Eunie: Hang on, I've got a flashlight.

Eunie turns on the flashlight and they see the cave better.

Jaune: Why didn't you bring that out before?

Eunie: Didn't want to ruin your moment.

Lanz: Guys, I found the Relic.

They turn to see Lanz smiling but not noticing the Death Stalker and the stinger he's holding. They look in fear about what's to happen next.

Lanz: What?

Lanz turns around and sees what the "relic" actually is. Jaune screams and it can be heard from everywhere outside the cave. Jaune, Eunie, and Pyrrha run with Lanz still hanging from the Death Stalker's stinger.

Eunie: Why do you always have to be such a moppet?!?!

Lanz: This could've happened to anybody!

The Death Stalker swings its tail and launches Lanz off.

Lanz: THIS ISN'T MY FAULT!

Jaune: Um... I'm going to go help him.

He takes off to head toward Lanz.

Pyrrha and Eunie look at the Death Stalker coming toward them.

Eunie: I guess it's just you and me Pyrrha.

Eunie looks around and sees Pyrrha gone and the Grimm coming toward her.

Eunie: Okay, Lanz is an idiot, Jaune is a little in over his head, but YOU'RE A BITCH!

Eunie takes off to follow Jaune and Lanz.

Meanwhile, Yuito and Pyra are still running to where the temple might be. They've been killing every Grimm they've been coming across.

Pyra: Why aren't you using my sword?

Yuito: If it comes to it, I will. But for now and the rest of our time at Beacon, that is your sword. I'm not sure they have Blades in this world.

Pyra: Right, right. Sorry, I just still can't believe all that's happened. And I know you haven't been sleeping but I'm afraid to know the reason.

Yuito: As you should. I'll find a way to fall asleep when we save everybody.

Pyra: Right!

The two keep running until they come across Yang and Blake.

Yuito: You two have already made it?

Yang: Yep.

Karen: Looks like they might actually have a chance.

Karen runs to me and I know what is on his mind.

Yuito: We're not alone.

Karen: Damn right.

Blake: What are you guys talking about?

*Screeeecccchhhh*!

We hear a loud screech and see a swarm of small metallic animals moving toward us.

Yang: What the hell are those things?!?!

Yuito: Harpies!

Ruby: AAAAAHHHHHH!!!

We look up and see Ruby falling with many Harpies trying to catch and devour her. I jump to save her as the Harpies make a dive for her.
