Yuito POV:

I reviewed every single memory regarding Beacon Academy. I wasn't there, but the Ruby and Yang of my world told me everything that happened. Jaune and Weiss get infected by a Nightmare, so they had their teams go in and save them. I really hate it. But all I can do is just let it happen. I should figure out the power the brothers gave me. The God of Darkness gave me a fragment of his power, but I know the God of Light gave me something as well.

Everyone finds out about Jaune's condition and a Huntsman named Shion Zaiden.

Shion weaves a web and blindfold for Jaune as Pyra, Ren, and Nora enter his mind to fight the Nightmare. They are successful and the Nightmare is contained in a special jar.

Shion: It's your turn to be trapped Nightmare.

Blake then looks inside the jar and sees a seed in place of the Nightmare.

Blake: A seed... It's like a plant.

Glynda: Typically, Grimm take on a beast form. But some Grimm are unique. Keep that in mind.

Yuito whispers to his teammates.

Yuito: (Whisper) And some will leave literally nothing in their wake.

Karen: (Whisper) You can say that again.

Jaune wakes up and panics a little.

Jaune: I overslept! Is class... huh?

The rest of his team laughs at his reaction.

Shion puts the jar in his suitcase.

Shion: I'm glad we caught it before it grew. It's probably because his aura is still undeveloped. 

Glynda: His Semblance hasn't awakened, and his aura in combat is below average. That proved fortunate for him.

Yang: I've never seen someone benefit from a weakness before. 

Shion: I sensed other Nightmares in the forest, too. The more sensitive or emotionally conflicted you are, the more susceptible you become. Please tell the students to remain diligent. 

Team Rwby is in the Hallway talking.

Yang: Listen up, everyone. If you're feeling down, talk to each other about it. 

Weiss: You must be joking. You can't possibly expect a Grimm to possess me.

Ruby: Yeah. I'm sure you'll be fine Weiss. 

Blake: It certainly seems unlikely. She's got her own thorns to keep the Grimm away.

Weiss: I don't like the sound of that. Anyway, since tomorrow is a day off, shall we go into town? The festival is soon, too.

Ruby: Festival?

I was behind a corner and listening to their conversation. I know it's stalking. I'm aware that my sanity isn't solid. But I will protect them no matter the cost. I sense Karen walking to me and has something on his mind.

Karen: Going to go with them on their trip?

Yuito: Yes.

Karen: Don't let me stop you.

Yuito: You and the others can go into town. I'm the one that needs to watch over them.

Karen: Sure thing. Before that, you want to teach Team CRDL a lesson.

Yuito: With pleasure.

After beating Team CRDL unconscious and helping a rabbit Faunus named Velvet, we had a talk with Jaune about how he was feeling. Jaune says he's feeling better and thanks to us he's gained confidence since we gave him some advice and training. Me and Karen feel great since we helped Jaune a little. The next day, I went into Vale and pretended to wander around. I was hoping Team RWBY would notice me and invite me to tag along.

Ruby: I didn't know you liked festivals, Weiss.

Blake: That's a surprise

I was walking in their path when Yang noticed me.

Yang: Oh, hi Yuito. I didn't know you were in town as well.

Yuito: Neither did I. I just wanted to come back since we're off today. The Vytal Festival is coming up. Don't want to miss it.

Yang: Same. Hey?

Yang wrapped her arm around my neck and smiled. I was blushing from the act.

Yang: Want to hang out with us? I'd like to hear more about you and the rest of Team YEPLN. You guys were able to take down that massive Grimm thing by yourselves.

Yuito: You guys hit it too.

Blake: Yeah but for us we just dented it and Yang was lucky enough to hit its exposed parts.

Yang: Come on, Yuito. I've started to take a liking for you. Maybe we all can train together.

Yuito: S-sure. I'd love you.

Yang: Oh, look at you blush. You're adorable!

Yang takes my hand and pulls me along.

Yang: Come on. Let's all have fun.

Yuito: Yeah.

I remember the time the Yang from my world was training with me. She called me a fast learner and was proud to have a brother like me. I can still remember the smile she gave me the first time we spared together. 

Flashback

Yang: Come on, baby brother. Don't hold back!

Yuito: You know I won't!

Me and Yang were training together for when she gets accepted into Beacon and I get accepted into the GSF. Yang would've loved it if I went to Beacon as well, but she was still happy at how much I wanted to be a member of the Grimm Suppression Force. She was also a little envious that I had both a Psionic and a Semblance.

Yang charges at me one last time, and I grab one of her fists. Yang grabs my arm and we end up struggling for who falls first. We both ended up falling to the ground and our match ended in a tie. After a minute of silence, we both were laughing hard.

Yuito: HAHAHA! Like Ruby, you're amazing as ever Yang.

Yang: Oh shush! You're pretty amazing as well. Are you sure you want to go to New Himuka and join the GSF? You'd be a pretty great Hunter.

Yuito: I'd love to, but I want to join the GSF like the ones that saved me. I also think I might find some people that will join me in finding Elysium.

Yang: Elysium? You're still looking for that? I mean, there's nothing wrong with that, it's just most people move on from that dream after they're 13.

Yuito: I know it exists. Gramps and the others told me about it.

Azurda: Did I hear someone call for me?

Azurda was resting in the field next to the house. Dad and the others made that patch for Azurda since he lives with us part-time.

Yutio: Oh, hey gramps.

Yang: Hey Azurda. Did you lose some weight?

Azurda: I'd be happy for that. I hope my constant flying gives me some exercise. Just because I'm old doesn't mean I want to be out of shape.

Yang: Yeah. hey, I know I always say this, but thank you so much for taking care of Yuito when we... Lost him in the cloud sea.

Azruda: It was my pleasure. And what were the odds of that event happening when you were in the sky? Don't blame yourself.

Yang: I know that now.

Yuito: Hey gramps. We're going to cook outside tonight. Want me to get the brazer?

Azurda: Thank you. But unfortunately, Ozpin has something he needs to discuss with me tonight. Save me a few stakes.

Yuito: Absolutely gramps.

Yang: Hey, Yuito.

Yuito: Yes, Yang?

Yang pulls my face in to give me a kiss on the cheek. I was blushing from the act and she looked into my eyes.

Yang: If you ever need anything, I'm there. If those GSF give you any trouble, I will drive Bumblebee into GSF Headquarters and kick their asses so hard they have craters for the rest of their lives

Yuito: Thanks, Yang. I love you. You, Ruby, Mom, Dad, Qrow, Raven, Zwei, and Azurda.

Azurda: We all love you too.

Yang: Same. Get ready for a world where your family embarrasses you at every turn.

Yuito: I'd actually like to see that.

Yang: Great

Yang gives me another kiss on the cheek.

Flashback ends

Ruby: Yuito? Are you okay?

Yuito: Yeah. Just thinking of an old friend.

Ruby: Okay. Woah! What happened there?

We come across a dust shop that had been robbed and is surrounded by police. We walk up to it and Ruby asks one of the officers what happened.

Ruby: What happened here?

Officer: Hmm? Another robbery. They took the dust and left everything else. Probably the White Fang up to their old tricks. Excuse me.

Weiss: The White Fang again? What a bunch of violent, crazed degenerates.

Blake: They are a collection of misguided Faunus.

Weiss: They say they're going to wipe humanity off the face of the planet.

Blake: Only a small minority! And we don't even know if Faunus did this to begin with

Ruby: Blake's got a point. The Dust robbery I saw was done by humans.

Suddenly a Sun Wukong, a monkey Faunus, gets off a ship that arrived and runs away from the crew. He passes by us and he signals to Blake that he knows that she's a Faunus.

Weiss: Fine. I'll capture that Faunus and show you just how bad he is.

Ruby: Wait! Weiss!

Weiss runs after Sun and the rest of the team follow her. I decide to run in order to get to Sun first. My years of constant fighting and Team RWBY's underdeveloped physical skills have allowed me to become faster than them. 

Yang: Wow, look at him go. He might catch up to him before we do.

Ruby: Slow down Yuito.

I suddenly run into someone and fall down with her. Weiss turns the corner and doesn't react fast enough to avoid tripping over me and falling down as well.

Ruby: Are you okay?

Weiss: Sort of.

I meanwhile can't stop staring at the girl who is revealed to be Penny Polendina. An android who was more human than she thought she was.

Yang and Blake arrive and see what's happening.

Yang: Are you two okay? Can you both get up?

Penny: Yes! I am wonderful. Thank you for asking! Excuse me sir. Can I help you with anything?

Yuito: Uh, no. Sorry. Let me help you up.

I get off her and hold out my hand.

Penny: I can get up on my own. Thank you for offering though. And-a upsy daisy.

Penny gets up on her own and turns to us.

Penny: My name is Penny. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Yuito: It's nice to meet you friend.

Ruby: Same.

Weiss: Guys, if we don't hurry, the vagabond will get away.

Penny: What did you call me?

Blake: She wasn't talking about you.

Penny: No. You.

Penny looks at me and walks closer to me. I was filled with nostalgia and didn't even move. I know innocent curiosity anywhere.

Penny: Did you just call me "friend"?

I smile and respond in joy.

Yuito: You know it.

Penny reacts in delight at my answer.

Penny: How touching! I have made a friend! I'm so glad I came to Vale! 

Weiss: What's with her?

I use my Psyhokinesis to throw a pebble at Weiss' head.

Weiss: Who threw that?

Yang: Sorry, but we're in a hurry.

Penny: Alright. Be well.

Team RWBY keeps look for Sun but lost him. Weiss is still adimant about capturing Sun due to her belief that he'll join the White Fang. Blake efforts to call out Weiss for her prejudice and defend the Faunus has caused her to reveal herself as one. Blake runs away in response. No doubt she'll run into Sun. She did it in my world. But it was only after she and Weiss decided to take some time to themselves.

Yuito (Thoughts): There was no architect in this world. No Titans. No Blades or empowered brain substances. Any of those could have led to a positive change in this situation. But it's not my world. Everything would be different.

I search for Blake with the rest of Team RWBY, but found nothing. Weiss does not hesistate to show her new opinion on Blake.

Weiss: We should jsut leave her be.

Yang: She's our teammate!

Weiss: You heard what she said.

Yang: So you're going to treat her like a criminal.

Weiss: She is one.

I glared at Weiss.

Yuito: You are not a Hunter

Weiss: Excuse me?

Yuito: You are not a Hunter. You're just an arrogant, spoiled little princess. I don't even know why you think you'd be destined for greatness with an attitude like that.

I walk away from them and Weiss glares at me. I go to an alley and brain talk with Karen

Brain talk

Yuito: Karen. How's it going?

Karen: Had to teach Cardin and his goons a lesson. But I'm okay. Let me guess, Weiss found out about Blake and refuses to accept her know that she knows she's a Faunus.

Yuito: Yep.

Karen: Hopefully her future experience will cause her to mellow out. How about you scout out the docks. The dust shipment is arriving and we should make sure Blake and Sun survive it. Anything can happen.

Yuito: I'm heading there now. By the way, how's Pyra doing?

Karen: Still adjusting to everything being different. But she's okay for the most part.

Yuito: Good for her.

Karen: Yuito. Is there really nothing left in our world?

I just stay silent as I don't know how to say it.

Karen: I thought so as well. We will save this world. I'll head to the docks as well. Meet you there.

Yuito: Okay

Brain Talk End

I go to the docks and wait for Karen to arrive. I spend an hour watchin my memories of my family celebrating me joining the GSF. Yang and Ruby wouldn't let me go. Azurda even let us have it on his back. I miss them.

Karen: Yuito.

Yuito: Yes Karen?

Karen: Those two will be here in a few minutes. And the White Fang will arrive soon after.

Yuito: Let's make sure this goes well for the former.

Karen and I wait a bit and make sure no one can see us. We see Blake and Sun arrive right on schedule and being scouting the docks. After waiting a bit more, a Bullhead arrives and White Fang members get off it to begin raiding the containers. Roman Torchwick then steps off the Bullhead and reveals himself to everyone.

Roman: Come on, Let's pick up the pace. We're not the most inconspicous bunch of theives. And our clients are not the patient type.

Yuito: Clients?

Suddenly, an armored trucks arrive and each one of them bear the most vile symbol in existence.

Someone then steps out of it and reveals their figure in a hoodie and metallic looking face.

Karen: Zeta!

Yuito: The Evolved... They're here too. How?

 Zeta: If Torchwick told you to pick up the pace. Pick up the pace! We're paying you more than your usual rate after all.

Zeta walks up to Roman and talks with him. Blake heads down and confronts the two. I get down as well to aid her since Zeta is far stronger than her.

Zeta sense Blake and uses his power to fling her back. Luckily I catch her.

Yuito: You okay Blake?

Blake: Yeah. Just a little surprised is all.

Zeta: Well look who we have here. Yuito and his little pet. I'm actually gald you two arrived, cause I was getting bored.

Blake: Cease your operation right now. Same for you brothers of the White Fang. Why do you aid these two.

Zeta: Because little pussy cat, they know what position they are really in.

Karen and Sun hop down and reveal themselves.

Karen: Stop this instance bastard.

Sun: Yeah, we can take you!

Zeta: Monkey, you have no idea what you are facing.

Zeta snaps his fingers and the trucks bust open and reveal the Chimeras hidden inside them.

Zeta: RIP THEM TO PIECES!!!

The Chimeras charge and we all get read to fight them and the White Fang. Karen and I deal with the Chimeras to give Blake and Sun some room. We also lure the Chimeras to where they can't be seen to in order to properly kill them. It's Blake and Sun against mostly White Fang Members. Better to hide the Chimeras for a bit.

Karen: Yuito, use SAS to connect to me!

Yuito: On it.

I use the Struggle Arms System and connect to Karen. I can now use the Psionics that he has stored due to his "Brain Eater" ability. I use Hypervelocity and decapitate some of the Chimeras. Karen uses Electokinesis to shock some of the Chimeras and beat them to death. I then use my psychokinesis to pick up metal sheets and fling them at the rest of the Chimeras, bisecting them when they hit the crates. The Chimeras bodies the disintegrate and fade away as if they were never there to begin with.

Yuito: We got to protect Blake and Sun from Zeta!

Karen nods and we go to where Blake and Sun are fighting. We see that they are on equal grounds with Roman, but there is no sign of Zeta. Suddenly, something hits me in the back and I turn to see Zeta aiming a gun at me.

Zeta: Well that didn't kill ya as fast as I expected.

I use my Psychokinesis to pick up objects and throw them at Zeta, who cuts through them with ease. Suddenly, Karen teleports and punches Zeta so hard, he ends up flying through the containers. Zeta gets back up, but limps and spits blood.

Zeta: Fuck you two. This is far from over!

Suddenly, Zeta teleports away and the remaining Chimeras charge at me. I then use my Psychokinesis to grab the Chimeras and crush them. I then Brain Talk with Karen

Brain Talk

Yuito: Karen! Are you there?!

Karen: Yeah. Killed the rest of the Chimeras.

Yuito: Roman got away?

Karen: Yeah. Don't worry, He'll get caught soon. It's Zeta I'm worried about. The Evolved must be in this world. We need to to stop them before they end up consuming it as well. But first, we need to debat on bringing Ruby up to speed.

Yuito: And Jaune. All he needs is a little confidence. We can help him, he's just as important in fighitng the Grimm as Ruby is.

Karen: I know. Well discuss that when we get back,

Yutio: Oh crap! Blake and Sun!

Karen: No worries. Penny helped them. They're alright. And it looks like Weiss finally accepts Blake as a teammate. Soon the Nightmare will try to destroy Weiss, and the others will help.

Yuito: Karen. We're going to save people, right?

Karen: At the very least, well keep this world from dying. Our best bet is to make a stand. Otherwise there will be nothing left to fight for.

Yuito: I'm still afraid to sleep.

Karen: So am I. But it's better not to let the others know. Let's head back to Beacon.

Yuito: Roger. Karen, I'm glad you were on Patch with Lanz and Eunie when me and Pyra found you.

Karen: I'm fortunate as well. See ya.

Brain Talk Ends

I leave the docks and head back to Beacon Academy. I wait for Weiss to return and begin to follow her from a distance. Soon enough, the Nightmare inside her begins to spread its infection. Weiss then falls to her knees and coughs before being rendered unconcious due to the Nightmare.

Yuito: So now it begins.

I use my technopathy to make myself invisible to any cameras that may be around me and go to the roof. I begin to cough and cover my mouth with my hand. I pull away and see something disturbing.

Yuito: *Gasp*!

I see blood on my hand and end up tasting blood in my mouth. I know what it is. Something insidious like the Nightmare, and made worse. And I know who caused this as I clench my fist.

Yuito: Zeta... Dammit.
