Yuito POV:

After the Brothers stood together, I was enveloped in a bright light. I felt the wind blow, but it was different. It wasn't harsh, it was a gentle breeze. I also felt my hair move in the wind. I open my eyes and I saw the ground was green. I touched it and felt the grass. I got up and I looked around. Trees, the sea, Mom's grave, it's all here. I look to the sky and a tear drops from my eye at the beautiful sight.

I pull my arm up and spread out my hand in joy.

Yuito: I'm actually here... I'm in the other Remnant.

I lower my arm and close my eyes. I then reach into my hood to pull out Azurda's remains.

Yuito: If only you could see this Gramps.

I felt something round and it didn't feel like the piece I was carrying.

Yuito: Huh?

I pull it out of my hood and see it was something completely different.

Yutio: An egg?

I cup it with my hands and it begins to shake. I was wondering what was going on and it hatches. I close my eyes and I hear a very familiar voice.

???: Rex my boy, what's the matter?

I open my eyes and see a small creature in my hands.

My eyes widen in shock as I know who the voice belongs to.

Yutio: Azurda? Gramps?

Azurda: Who else would it be? Wait, when did you get so big?

I broke into tears and put my head to him.

Azurda: Woah my boy!

Yuito: (Sad) I... I thought lost you forever.

Azurda put his hands on my head and tries to calm me down.

Azurda: Calm down my boy. It's okay. Why don't you tell me what happened?

I wipe my tears and tell him everything.

Azurda: I... I see.

I turn around and see Pyra still in the device and still sleeping.

Yutio: It's been six months and she's still sleeping.

Azurda: Unfortunately, a broken balance means everything will not be the same anymore.

Suddenly, Pyra's device begins to be engulfed in flames and the flames stretch around us before landing. Pyra appears and finally opens her eyes.

Pyra: Hello Yuito. It's been a while, hasn't it?

Yutio: ...Yeah.

Pyra looks around and notices the surrounding area.

Pyra: Did we find Elysium?

I look down before I looked at her and told her everything.

Pyra: Dammit!

Pyra slams her fist into the ground as she said that.

Pyra: Can I tell you something? I never liked those Brothers. One thing I think everyone should know is that they NEVER LEARN! The world they made was ultimately destroyed because of their actions.

Yuito: I know. But when I summoned them, I found that any argument would be meaningless.

Pyra: That's the worst part about it.

I look at Pyra and still saw the anger in her eyes.

Yuito: I don't know how, but I will keep my promise. I'll take you to Elysium.

Pyra calms down a little.

Pyra: You... Do you really mean it?

Yuito: Yes.

Pyra smiles a little.

Azurda: Rex, we should probably go. This grave may be identical but we are strangers in a strange world.

Yuito: You're right. Let's go.

I look at Mom's grave and the spot where I buried everyone in my Remnant.

Yuito: I'll miss you all.

I put Azurda in my hood as me and Pyra walk away from the grave. We pass the Cabin and I let another tear out before wiping it away. Pyra notices and knows what I went through.

After walking around for a few hours, the three of us hear some fighting in the woods. We run towards it and see two people fighting a pack of Grimm. A girl with wings on her head and a boy with grey skin.

???: Take this!

??? 1: Bring it on you bastards!

Yuito: Lanz?!?! Eunie?!?!

I run to them and pull out Nexus Rose

Pyra: Yuito, wait!

Pyra follows me and we jump into the battle.

I use my Psychokinesis to lift boulders and throw them at the Grimm. I then slice the Grimm with Nexus Rose. Pyra then uses her sword to annihilate the Grimm. Lanz and Eunie look at me in shock.

Yuito: Lanz? Eunie?

Lanz and Euenie: Yuito?

Yuito, Lanz, and Euinie: I thought you were dead.

Eunie runs up and hugs me. Lanz bear hugs us and we feel him crushing us, but I really missed this.

Eunie: Lanz! No air! Actually dying!

Lanz lets us both down.

Lanz: Sorry.

He then looks at me.

Lanz: Yuito, what are you doing here?

Yuito: What are YOU guys doing here?

Lanz: The Relic began overloading and exploded. We thought we were done for, but it sent us back in time, I think. Although everything seems different.

Eunie: Yutio, who are they?

I look at Azurda and Pyra before looking down in sadness from the memory of my old world.

Lanz: Yuito?

I look up to them and tell them what really happened.

I tell Lanz and Eunie about what really happened, about Remnant's destruction, about Salem's death, about everyone.

Lanz punches his fist into a boulder.

Lanz: God Dammit! We got the psychotic bitch but lost everything in the process!

Eunie: What happened to the Evolved?

Yuito: They disappeared before Vale fell.

Lanz turns to Pyra and grabs her by the collar with Fury in his eyes.

Lanz: Why the hell didn't you wake up when Ruby and Yuito found you?!?! You were their last hope, the last hope for those that remained!

Pyra: I couldn't just wake up to everybody, only those who are qualified for being a driver!

Yuito: Lanz! We can still bring our Remnant back.

Lanz: How?

Yuito: Elysium.

Lanz looks in shock before looking at Pyra and calming down. He lets go of her and sits down.

Eunie: Elysium is real?

Pyra: Yes. The Architect created it to safeguard humanity. If Elysium is found, it can bring back life and free us of the Grimm.

Yuito: We won't have to live in false optimism anymore.

Lanz: That sounds promising, but how the hell do we expect to get back? We don't know if the relics are here.

Yuito: The God of Light said that while this world is different there are similarities. And if there's a Salem here...

Eunie: Then the relics and Oscar have to be as well. And luckily it has me and Lanz's species and not just Humans and Faunus.

Lanz pulls out his scroll and shows us the time and date it's displaying.

Lanz: If this is another world, then why does the time date back two years ago.

The scroll does display 2020 on it. I think for a second and come to a conclusion.

Yutio: Time must flow differently in our world. This world's time must move slower than ours.

Lanz: So, the reason this world isn't destroyed...

Yutio: Is because the events leading to the Fall haven't happened yet.

Eunie: Maybe we can keep this world from being destroyed as well.

Lanz: Easier said than done. Salem had the Chimeras, the Evolved, and Malos on her side. What if they're all here as well?

I look at the picture of Team RWBY.

Everyone sits next to me and looks at the photo.

Eunie: If only they were here. They'd know what to do.

Yuito: Wait, they are. We just got to find them.

Azurda: Don't expect too much from them. After all, we're in a different world, and they are probably not the ones we know.

Yuito: Even so, we have to try.

I use my implanted Technopathy to scan the photo and get the information showing when they entered and what they did before entering Beacon.

???: You trying to kill the Salem of this world?

Eunie, Lanz, and I look up and are shocked to see who's talking. It was Karen Treavors.

Karen: Count me in.

Later

The six of us went to the nearby town where Ruby is expected to fight off a robbery before being accepted into Beacon. At least... that's how it happened in our world. We traveled through the rooftops to avoid suspicion and were watching the streets and alleys. We're all surprised by how quiet it is the town.

Eunie: It's so quiet. Everyone's just going about their lives.

Lanz: I can't remember the last time we had this.

Karen: We can thank Salem and the damn Evolved for that.

Lanz: Bloody psychos!

Azurda: Understatement of the Millenium.

We see a shop called "From Dust Till Dawn". We observe what's happening and notice a group of people walking in.

We are surprised to see him alive in this world.

Lanz: We got to stop him.

Karen grabs Lanz's right shoulder before he does something.

Karen: Wait. Let's see if this series of events are identical. We weren't the ones that stopped it in our world.

We then hear something coming from the shop and watch closely. A robber is tossed out of the window and someone lands outside. We're all shocked at the one standing, holding a red scythe and wearing a red cape.

Tears come down my eyes at seeing the one who I looked up to still alive.

Yuito: R... Ruby.

We watch as she effortlessly takes down the other robbers.

Azurda: Rex, we should probably go. I don't think it's a good idea to interfere with this certain event.

Yutio: You're probably right. Let's go guys.

We run across the buildings until we are far enough to witness what's happening without interrupting it.

Lanz: If we're not in the past, why are we standing by?

Pyra: Even if we're in another Remnant, if this is how it's supposed to be then we must let it happen. Ruby has to get recognized, or else she won't get accepted into Beacon. Then how will Team RWBY form and try to unite everyone to fight Salem?

Karen: We just have to let this play out. Then we'll go to Beacon, and make some changes to it. This isn't the past, but we shouldn't act with reckless abandon. One thing Ozpin was right about, it's better to handle things tactfully.

Lanz: I guess you have a point.

Euine: Wait, join Beacon? How do we do that?

Yuito: You guys still got those transcripts right?

Eunie: Yes. Okay, that takes care of one thing. But what about you, Karen, and Pyra? None of you went to any academies.

I think for a second and remember the artificial Psionic I was given.

Yuito: Karen, Pyra, I'll be coming from Signal Academy. Where do you want to be from?

Pyra: What kind of question is...

Karen: Signal.

Pyra: What's going...

Karen: Yuito has another Psionic, Technopathy. It's an artificial one, but it will allow him to control data and technology to a certain degree.

Pyra: That's lying.

Karen: Right and wrong aren't neatly divided. If Salem's in this world then right now, we're the only ones with the knowledge to actually stop her. Cinder did something similar, except we're doing this to save his friends.

Pyra thinks for a minute and looks at me.

Pyra: Signal.

Yuito: Right. Oh, I should probably edit our names. There can't be another Rose at Beacon and we can't just go with only one name. I'll have my name be "Yuito Sumeragi".

Eunie: Can you make my last name "Omega"?

Yutio: Sure

Lanz looks down for a moment and looks at me.

Lanz: Hey, Yuito.

Yuito: Yes?

Lanz: Can you make my last name Karman?

I look at him in surprise.

Lanz: I'm doing this for Nagi. He gave his life for us in Atlas.

Yuito: Sure.

Karen: Yuito.

I look to Karen and he says what's on his mind.

Karen: Can you make my name Nagi Treavors? I won't forget the one that saved me.

Yutio: Sure.

I look to Pyra next.

Yuito: Hey Pyra, if it's okay with you, I'm just going to register you as my sister for this.

Pyra: That... That sounds good.

I use my Technopathy to create and alter the transcripts and we are good to go.

Yuito: Are we all in on this?

Lanz: Hell yes.

Eunie: We've got a chance to save this world.

Karen: I want nothing more than to see Salem die with my own two eyes.

Pyra: Just remember your promise.

Yuito: I will. Then we're all in agreement.

Everybody nods and I smile.

A few days later

The six of us are on an airship heading to Beacon. Azurda is hiding in my GSF Uniform since we're not sure if there are Titans in this Remnant. I smile at the sight of still-living people. The six of us go on our scrolls and look at what to expect to be expected at Beacon. I then connect to everyone through Brain Talk.

Brain talk

Yuito: Alright guys, our Brain Talk still works so we can talk without arousing suspicion.

Karen/Eunie/Lanz/ Pyra: Right.

Yuito: The initiation begins tomorrow. Ruby got accepted into Beacon so we can start taking action from this point on.

Lanz: Damn Straight.

Eunie: So what's the plan?

Yuito: For right now, let's just try to blend in. I'll talk with Ruby and Jaune.

Lanz: I think that's something we can all do at once.

Eunie: It would benefit Ruby and Jaune if they've got people that know what they're going through.

Karen: Yeah just be subtle about it. Otherwise, they're going to think we're out of our minds.

Pyra: I would be interested in meeting them face to face.

Yutio: Then it's settled.

End Brain Talk

???: I can't believe my baby sister is going to Beacom with me! This is the best day ever.

I look at who's talking and see another one I love still alive.

Yuito (Thoughts): Yang.

Ruby: Really sis, it was nothing.

Yang: What do you mean nothing? Everybody at Beacon is gonna think you're the bee's knees.

Ruby: I don't want to be the bee's knees, okay?! I don't want to be any kind of knees! I just want to be a normal girl with normal knees.

Yang: What's with you? Aren't you excited?

Ruby: Of course I'm excited. I just... I got moved ahead two years. I don't want people to think I'm special or anything.

Yang: But you are special.

A news report comes on about the robbery led by Roman Torchwick. It then shows a segment about a Faunus Rights protest being invaded by the White Fang. A hologram of a Variant of the greatest instructor ever appears before us.

Yutio: Glynda.

Glynda: Hello and welcome to Beacon.

Yang: Who's that?

Glynda: My name is Glynda Goodwitch

Yang: Oh

Glynda: You are among the privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy. Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it's your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now, it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world.

Yuito (Thoughts): Before it all comes crumbling down.

Everybody looks outside the window and so do we. We're all surprised at the sight of something so beautiful... For right now at least.

Yuito: I'll save this world. I won't let you guys down.

We all hear groaning and turn around to see a blonde boy holding one hand to his mouth and the other on his stomach as he runs to find a trash can.

I smile and turn back at the glass before giving a serious expression.

Yuito: I'll be a savior.
