Yuito POV:

I didn't sleep. How could I sleep? Every time I do, I re-live the war. Everybody I loved dying before my eyes. The whole fuckin' apocalypse. I will save them this time. Lanz, Eunie, and Karen ended up in this world; Could Kasane and the others also be here?

Karen also didn't sleep, he wanted to stop Salem at any cost. We spent the whole night Brain Talking after everyone went to sleep. We've been planning non-stop about what actions to take and what to change. Nothing is identical, but there's a good chance that at least some of the major events will remain the same.

Brain Talk

Karen: Sun's coming up. We should wake the others and plan in the locker rooms. We need a few hours away from Brain Talk.

Yuito: Yeah. I'm starting to forget how to talk. I should also get Azurda.

Karen: Okay.

Brain Talk End

We wake the others up and sneak out of the Ballroom without waking up anyone else. We go to the Locker rooms and use our scrolls to plan our actions during the Initiation. We manage to find the geographical map of the Emerald Forest and decide how to go from there.

Yuito: This world doesn't have the technology to create satellites, but the Cross Continental Transmit System should allow us to track each other's locations.

Karen: Luckily these scrolls can be used as a conduit to the system. The terrain is identical so we shouldn't have too much trouble getting around.

Lanz: Walk around for a few minutes, play a little, and avoid other people till we regroup.

Eunie: Sounds like a plan.

Karen: And Yuito, try to refrain from putting on your mask. They'll get suspicious if you put on that mask and suddenly all of us regroup so fast.

Yuito: Right. Plan has been set.

We all close out scrolls and Lanz puts his arm on my shoulder while Eunie leans against me.

Lanz: Yuito "Rex" Sumeragi. World's greatest GSF Cadet.

Eunie: Couldn't have asked for a better Leader.

Karen: I think you'd be qualified as a Spetentrion.

Yuito: I don't deserve this.

Eunie: That humility is why you do deserve this.

Yuito: Just... Be ready for anything.

Lanz: Always.

I walk away and notice Azurda wanting to say something so I opened my jacket a little.

Azurda: I'm glad you're not overconfident, but having little confidence can be just as bad.

Yuito: Even after trying so hard, and overcoming all the obstacles that came my way, I failed.

Azurda: That's why your friends are here, to help you. Someone as old as me has learned that not everyone can say that.

Yuito: Thanks, Gramps.

Azurda nods and goes back inside my jacket.

I keep walking and see a tangerine-haired girl and a black-haired boy with a pink highlight.

These two's personalities are identical to the ones from my world. Ren is serious and no-nonsense while Nora was overly energetic and wouldn't stop talking. I actually cried a little form the nostalgia.

I accidentally bump into Blake when I walked past a corner and see her Bow twitch; which was just being used to disguise herself as a Cat Faunus.

I help her up and talk to her.

Yuito: So, you're a Faunus huh?

She remained quiet for a bit, shocked that I knew that.

Blake: H-How did you.

Yuito: Bows don't twitch.

Blake is in shock at the mistake she made.

Yuito: Don't worry it doesn't bother me, and I won't tell anyone.

Blake: (sighs in relief) So you really don't mind that I'm a Faunus?

Yuito: Of course, I don't mind. My mom always told me "All creatures are capable of any emotion, so when it comes to that, we're all equal".

Blake: Your mom sounds like a kind and wise woman.

Yuito: You have no idea. Listen, great to finally talk to you, but I got to get ready for the initiation. Later.

Blake: Bye.

I walk away from her to prepare for the initiation and put our plan into motion.

Blake POV:

That boy, I just met him yesterday, yet why does he feel so familiar? Why do I feel like I met him long ago? I wonder who he is.

(Timeskip)

Yuito POV:

I go to check on Yang and Ruby and see that they're having a discussion. Apparently, Ruby tells Yang about us and says that she would still like to be on the team Yang will be placed with. I'm glad for Ruby, but I can't let her join us. Team RWBY needs to be formed. Luckily, all we have to do is make sure nobody else joins us.

Ruby: Oh, hey Yuito.

Yuito: Hey Ruby. How's it going?

Ruby: Pretty good so far. This girl is my sister Yang.

Yang: Hey.

Yuito: Hello Yang. I actually saw you and your sister on the airship.

Yang: Really, that's nice.

Ruby: Yeah, he also helped me when I was spinning around when you and your friends ran away.

Yang: Well I kind of didn't since some jerkface threw a bunch of rocks at us and knocked us down.

Ruby: (Laughing) I wish I could have seen that.

Yang: Ruby!

Yuito: It does sound a little funny.

Yang: Whatever!

We then hear Jaune talking with Pyhrra and Weiss, trying to flirt with them.

He didn't have much luck, but at least he didn't get hit by Pyrrha's Javelin like the other him said. They simply walk away. An announcement plays, telling us the Initiation is about to begin.

Pyrrha: It was nice meeting you.

Jaune: Likewise.

The three of us walk to him and ask how he's doing.

Yang: Having trouble there, Lady Killer?

Jaune: I don't understand, my dad said all women look for is confidence. Where did I go wrong?

Yang: Snow Angel probably wasn't the best start.

Ruby: Come Jaune, let's go.

Yuito: Yeah, the Initiation is about to begin.

Jaune: O-okay.

We all walk out of the locker rooms

Everyone is lined up on a cliff with Ozpin and Glynda standing in front of us.

Ozpin: For years you have trained to become warriors. And today your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest.

Glynda: Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams.

Pyra raises her hand but Glynda cuts her off.

Glynda: Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion.

Pyra puts her hand down.

Glynda: Each of you will be given teammates, today.

Ruby: What?!?! Oh!

Ozpin: These teammates with be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well.

Ruby: Oh?!?!

Yuito(Thoughts): The other Ruby did say she wasn't entirely sure during the initiation.

Ozpin: That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing you be your partner for the next four years.

Ruby: What?!?!

Pyra: How does that make any sense?!?!

Ozpin: After you have partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. So don't hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die.

Jaune: (Nervous Laugh) *Gulp*.

Ozpin: You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your Initiation. But our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will guard that item and your standing and grade you appropriately. There is also a little secret I have hidden. If you find it, I might grant you one wish that is grounded in reality. Are there any questions?

Jaune and Pyra raise their hands with Pyra speaking first.

Pyra: Yeah, several hundred actually-

Ozpin: Good, now take your positions.

Everybody gets in position while Jaune and Pyra are still nervous about what will happen next. As they should be.

Jaune: Uh, sir. I've got a question.

Weiss is launched from her platform.

Jaune: So, um, what is the landing strategy thing?

Pyra: Yeah, a-are you dropping us off?

Ozpin: No. You will be falling.

More students are launched from their platforms

Pyra: O-oh I see.

Jaune: So uh, did you hand out parachutes for us?

Nora gets Launched

Ozpin: No. You will be using your own landing strategy.

Jaune: Uh huh... Yeah.

Ruby and Yang are launched from their platforms.

I decided to give Jaune and Pyra reassurance.

Yuito: Jaune, Pyra, you've got this.

Jaune: Okay. Okay.

Jaune is launched next and screams a little.

Pyra: I-I trust you, little brother.

Pyra is launched next and screams louder than Jaune.

Lanz: Let's do this.

Lanz is launched.

Eunie: See you guys later.

Eunie is launched.

Karen and I look at each other and we nod in confidence before he is launched.

Yuito: Time to be a Hunter.

I get launched next and am currently soaring through the air with the others. I see Ruby soaring as well and laughing too. I can't help but see her as the one I knew and the one that always believed in me. I actually she Ruby having my Ruby's appearance: Cybernetics and her signature cape.

Yuito: (Whisper) I'll save everyone Ruby, I promise.
