After a few hour nap, Deceit yawned and changed into his pajamas before heading towards his door. Out of the corner of his eye, the snake man saw a grey danger noodle slithering towards him.

"Hello Illusion, it's nice to see you again." Deceit smiled a little, thankful he could tell the truth with ease in his room. The danger noodle transformed into a boy with floofy brown hair and  green reptilian eyes, wearing an oversized grey sweater and jeans.

"Hey Dece!" Illusion smiled. He hugged Deceit gently, yet tightly. Deceit chuckled and hugged the boy back. "I'm hungry. Wanna raid the kitchen for whip cream while the assshole isss gone?"

Deceit tensed up. "H-hes not an asshole.." He quietly defended Remy. Illusion rolled his eyes despite only one being visible as the other one was covered by his hair.

"He'sss toxic Dece.. He'sss hurting you.." Illusion hissed before going back into snake form and slithering up Deceit and resting around his neck. Deceit sighed quietly knowing his friend was right.

The so called "villain" made his way to the kitchen. He froze when he saw the four core sides baking cookies and being happy. He was about to turn away and go back to his room when someone placed a hand on his shoulder. Deceit jumped and flinched away from them.

"Are you alright Deceit?" Logan's voice broke Deceits train of thought. Deceit put on a smile and looked at the group of four.

"Absolutely." The lie slipped out naturally. Deceit grabbed a can of Reddi Whip from the refrigerator and a bottle of water. "I wanted to disturb you and didn't just come for these. Remy isn't at a concert so I'm staying put of the way."

Virgil and Patton didn't seem convinced by the lies. Deceit found it hard to convince them that he was fine since Virgil knows him better than anyone and Patton can sense strong emotions. Logan and Roman usually waved him off so he was caught off guard when Roman handed him an apron.

"Come on Fibber on the Roof! You can help us!" Roman exclaimed. Deceit looked at them all in shock. All four gave him a warm smile–even Logan had one on his "emotionless" face.

"A-are you not sure?" Deceit asked, putting the apron on. Patton just giggled and handed him a bowl of cookie dough as an answer. Deceit gave a small smile and happily mixed the dough as everyone else went back to what they were working on before.

"Would you like to join us for a couple movies, Deceit?" Patton asked cheerfully as the group finished up cleaning the kitchen. Deceit looked hesitant to answer. He picked at the scales on his hand as he thought of his options.

He could A) watch a few movies with the others and risk getting punished for not being asleep or B) go back to his room, be bored, and wonder why Remy is never really around anymore.

Option A sounded a lot better in his opinion.

"I..I guess it would hurt to watch a couple movies.." Deceit murmured. "Which ones?"

"Logan chose Big Hero 6 and Virgil wanted Nightmare Before Christmas. You can pick the third if you'd like." Patton smiled, dragging the snek man to the commons. He sat Deceit on the couch and Roman brought out all the Disney and Pixar movies they owned.

"Uh.. Not Little Mermaid?" Deceit asked, looking at Roman. Roman smiled slightly and put the movie in the pile of chosen movies for that night.

Patton and Roman chose a movie each as well. Patton went with Peter Pan while Roman chose Hercules.

"Are you ready kiddos?" Patton asked as he summoned blankets for everyone. Deceit snuggled up in the dark gold blanket he was given, placing Illusion on his lap do the danger noodle–or boop noodle as Deceit calls him–could see the movies as well.

"Aye aye, Patton!" Roman and Virgil stated casually, as if this has been a routine. Logan just rolled his eyes in false annoyance.

Roman put the first movie on and flopped on the couch as the lights dimmed down.
