[Twenty One] Deceit
[I already have the cover for the next book made. I hope someone finds the pattern I'm doing with the covers. I'm also doing this chapter on my school ipad so formatting is different.
Also, would you be ok with me calling y'all shadowlings?]

Deceit flinched as Remy finished cleaning him up. Tears filled his eyes when his abuser hugged him gently. It felt wrong. He hated it.
"I'm here for you now baby, there's no need to be afraid." Remy cooed to him. Deceit gave him a convincing smile and allowed Remy to put him in one of Sleep's hoodies. Nothing but the hoodie. "Look at you; all cute and dressed pretty just for me to see."
Deceit felt sick. He wasn't Remy's. At least...didn't want to be. He wanted to be Logan's but Logan had failed him.
Logan lied.
Remy began to leave hickeys on Deceit's already bruised skin. It took all of Deceit's energy to not push him away from fear. Eventually, the coffee addict left the room, leaving Deceit chained to the bed like he had been before with only the hoodie to keep his exposed body warm.
Deceit laid there trembling in fear of what's to come. He didn't bother messaging anyone—he wouldn't be able to anyways since he left his phone in Logan's room.
Logan...
oh god he missed him already.
Logan wouldn't abandon him, right? There had to be a logical explanation as to why Logan didn't keep his promise...right? There was always a logical reason as to why Logan didn't do something...right?
Deceit covered his mouth to silence the sobs that started escaping his frail body. This had to be a dream! He was going to way up any moment now and be in Logan's arms! That's what he told himself. The acidic taste filled his mouth and he gagged on the lies.
"I-I love you L-Logan..." Deceit whispered into the darkness of the bedroom.
