[Eighteen] Deceit

They say all good things must come to an end.

That phrase alone has a lot of meanings. Maybe it's the ending a good book. The final breath of an elderly person.

Or the sudden dead end of happiness.

Deceit supposed he had it coming and there was no one else to blame but himself. He knew that, despite Thomas's encouragement, he would never have the courage to end his relationship with Remy. He knew that, despite what Thomas had told him about Logan, he would never have a chance at being in a healthy relationship-with Logan no less.

It didn't even surprise him when he woke up tied to a chair and gagged. He remembered falling asleep on Logan and how he had spoken with Thomas prior to blacking out. Logan had been with him at the time, yet now that he thought about it, Logan hadn't acted like Logan. He acted too much like- Deceits eyes widened in realization and he began to struggle with breathing.

Remy.
Logan had been acting like Remy.
That wasn't Logan whom had been with him when he had told Thomas what happened. No. It had been Remy himself.

But.. If that had been Remy, then where was the real Logic? Where was Logan at?! What was-

The slam of a door jerked Deceit out of his thoughts. Fear made his spine shiver and he could feel the sins crawling on his back.

"I see you're awake, my snake love." A chilling voice erupted the silence of their dark room. The only light came from the open door where his soon-to-be ex was currently standing. Deceit struggled with the rope around him, desperate to get away from the abusive man.

Remy chuckled darkly as he walked towards his favorite toy. "Why so scared Denton? Don't you trust me?" He asked in mock hurt. He used that tone when he tried to guilt Deceit.

Deceit hesitated for a moment. He was afraid because the man in front of him has hurt him countless times before. Yet.. He had deserved those punishments. He had broken the rules.

Logan had broken his promise.

Deceit whimpered at the cold truth. Logan promised that Remy wouldn't hurt him anymore. He promised he would protect the snek no matter what.

The thought made tears spring into the poor boys eyes. He didn't want to believe that the man that had cared for him and showed him what it was like to feel loved would lie to him.

"It's alright Denton. Remy's here. They can't hurt you anymore baby." Remy cooed softly before forcing Deceit into a rough kiss.

Deceit had no choice but to kiss back and do as Remy wanted him to do. He just hoped someone would save him. Someone that wouldn't lie to him about protecting him.

Logan failed him.
