13: PERFECT
Jungkook's pov
As I was about to leave Y/n's house, I pulled out three concert tickets from my pocket and handed them to her. "Here, take these," I said, giving her a grin.
She furrowed her brows, looking down at the tickets in her hand. "What are these?"
"Concert tickets!" I replied, excitement evident in my voice. "We're kicking off our world tour next month."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "Really? That's amazing! I'm so happy for you, but... I'm going to miss you." Her expression softened, a mix of happiness and sadness.
"I'll miss you too," I assured her, my voice dropping a bit. "But I'll call whenever I get time, I promise." I flashed her my signature bunny grin. "Oh, and hey—bring Hyun and Yoonmin along with you."
She raised an eyebrow at me. "Jungkook, are you serious?"
"Of course!" I laughed. "Consider it an apology to them. And honestly, I won't have much time this week, my schedule's packed."
Her eyes sparkled with joy as she clutched the tickets. "Thank you, Kookie. I'll definitely be there with them."
She leaned in and gave me a quick peck on the lips, her warmth lingering as I stepped back. My heart felt light—it had been a great day.
Just as I was walking away, I could hear my hyungs' teasing voices echoing in my head: "Yah, Jungkook, don't get addicted to her lips!" I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. Maybe I already was.

Jungkook's pov
The concert had finally wrapped up. A two-hour whirlwind of energy, lights, and endless chants from the ARMYs had left me completely drained yet exhilarated. After changing into something more comfortable, I collapsed onto the couch in the green room, guzzling down a bottle of glucose, trying to steady my racing heart. The others were still in the process of changing, but I needed this moment to just... breathe.
Suddenly, a soft knock on the door jolted me from my thoughts. One of the staff members stepped in, smiling. "Mr. Jeon, someone's here to see you."
I blinked. Someone? Was it Y/N? "Alright, send them in," I said, a bit curious but mostly exhausted.
The door creaked open, and to my surprise, a familiar voice rang through the room. "Kookie! Your concert was amazing! My boy is all grown up!"
"Eomma!" I exclaimed, springing up from my seat and rushing to give her a tight hug. I hadn't seen her in so long that I almost forgot how comforting her presence could be.
She laughed, pulling back to examine me, her eyes twinkling. "Now, before anything else, who is she?" she teased, nudging me with a knowing smile.
"Eomma!" I groaned, rolling my eyes. "You can at least ask how your son is doing first!"
"Alright, alright!" She waved her hand playfully. "How's my Kookie? Eating well? Sleeping on time? Not overworking yourself, right? If you are... I swear, I'll break your bones myself!" Her voice took on a playful threat as she eyed me sternly.
I could hear the makeup noonas giggling in the corner, and my cheeks flamed red. "Eomma, stop! You're embarrassing me in front of everyone!" She just giggled more. My mom always had this mischievous streak in her, and I couldn't help but think my dad must've had his hands full dealing with her antics when they were younger.
"Now, back to business," she said, winking at me. "Show me my future daughter-in-law. She better not be an idol!" Her tone became serious, but the grin on her face told me she was half-joking.
I sighed, knowing her feelings about me dating an idol. She had this belief that if I got involved with another celebrity, the media would devour whatever was left of my privacy. Not that I wasn't already stalked by cameras and fans everywhere I went.
Grinning, I pulled out my phone and showed her a picture of Y/N. "Relax, Eomma. She's not an idol."
Her eyes widened as she looked at the photo. "This girl?!" she gasped, sounding almost shocked, as though Y/N's face had popped up on some sort of wanted poster. I furrowed my brows, confused by her reaction.
"Jungkook, I met her earlier today! She was sitting beside me, and we had a lovely chat. She's so sweet and well-mannered!" My mom beamed, giving me a look that told me I'd just made her day.
I chuckled inwardly, thinking, Well, that was easier than I thought.
Just as I was about to say something, Y/N poked her head around the door. "Um, excuse me? Jungkook-ah?" she asked timidly, glancing between me and my mom.
I waved her in, smiling. "Come in, don't be shy."
Y/N eyes wide with surprise when she saw my mom standing there. I grinned, officially introducing them. "Y/N, this is my mom."
Y/N immediately bowed in respect. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs Jeon... again." She let out a soft laughter. I knoew she was still processing the situation.
My mom's face lit up even more, and she took Y/N's hand warmly. "What a coincidence! You are absolutely perfect for my Jungkook." Y/N blushed, clearly flustered by the compliment, but her smile was full of happiness.
Before either of us could respond, my mom added, "Why don't you two go out tonight? You deserve some time together."
I blinked in surprise. "Eomma, I was planning to hang out with my hyungs. We usually unwind and discuss the performance after every concert."
Namjoon's voice suudenly came from the hallway, cutting me off. "It's fine, Jungkook. You were incredible today. Did you hear the crowd? Go enjoy some time with Y/N. We'll catch up later."
I turned to look at Y/N, who was now grinning ear to ear, her eyes shining with excitement. Maybe tonight was about to get even better than I had planned.
I turned around and saw Taehyung standing at the door, casually leaning against the frame with his signature boxy grin. He waved at Y/N, and she smiled back.
Namjoon stepped forward, giving me one of his reassuring smiles, his dimples deepening as he spoke. "Jungkook, I'm proud of you. You've balanced everything so well... your music, the group, and Y/N. It's not easy, but you're handling it like a pro. I admit even I couldn't have done this good in balancing both lives."
Hearing that from Namjoon filled me with warmth and pride. "Thank you, hyung. You're the best!" I responded, feeling a rush of gratitude. His words were always like a guidepost for me.
I turned to Y/N, gently taking her hand in mine. Her cheeks flushed slightly, and I couldn't help but smile at how cute she looked. I squeezed her hand, feeling an extra sense of excitement now.
"Let's go. Kaja!" I said, leading the way as we stepped out of the room.

How's the story? I know this part is boring and small but I just don't want to have 13 chapters. (Since 13 is considered unlucky).
