Part 3
It's been hours since Loki left, and you finally decide to get something to eat. You open the massive doors into a large banquet hall. The entire table is laden with food. You shrug and wander inside. You select a random seat and sit down. You load your plate and begin to eat. When you're done, you push your seat out and go back into the room you woke up in.
You go to the dresser Loki told you there were clean clothes in. You pull one of the drawers open, and frown at the expanse of frilly dresses. No thank you, you think. When you open the next drawer and open and find what looks like hunting gear and armor you shout out, "That's more like it!" Quickly you pull out leather pants, boots, and a white shirt that almost resemmbles Loki's but has golden flowers embroided along the sleeve cuffs. You put these on and wander over to the book shelf on the opposite side of the room.
You pull down a dusty old tome and blow the thick layer of dust off of it. Furrowing your brow, you look at the strange symbol embelished on the cover of the old, brown book. With a sigh, you take it to the stone desk in the corner, and pull the chair up as you sit down and begin flipping through it. As you ponder the strange language in front of you, it suddenly jumps out at you. You understand it. There's king named Odin, and he rules over the Asgardians. They're all immortal, and he has two sons. Thor, and Loki are their names. Something nags at your memory. An old man with white hair that reaches his shoulders, and an eye patch. He smiles down at you,and rests a handd on your shoulder. The memory vanishes, and you jump away from the desk as cold sweat drenches your back.
At that moment, the portal reapears. Loki steps through it and he actually smiles as he takes in what you're wearing. "Just like when we were childre-" He stops as he sees your expression. He removes his helmet, and sets it on the desk as he comes over to you. The portal closes behind him, but he doesn't seem to notice. "(Y/n?)" His green eyes search your face, and he reaches out, brushing a tear from your cheek. You gasp a little because you didn't know you were crying. "What's the matter?"
You take a step back from him. "You brought me here for a reason!" You shout as you continue crying. You don't know why you can't stop. "Odin. . ." You put a hand over your mouth. "Odin. . . . He's. . . He's our father, isn't he?" Loki looks solemn as he tries to explain, but you won't have it as you turn, and run, locking yourself in the banquet room.
