Part 2
It's cold. You shiver, and then you feel arms embrace you. Automatically you relax. That is before you realize you have no clue who the hell is cuddling up to you. You snap awake and jolt up.
There is a man beside you. He's awake, and he seems bored, and you could almost say he was oblivious to anything going on around him. It's the same man you realize as everything comes back to you.
You try to push away from him, but he's stronger. So you give up and sit back and look around. You're in what looks like a fancy hotel room, but it seems more like a place from a fantasy novel. The man now wears a simple, white, collarless shirt, and the covers are drawn over his, and your legs. His hair is smoothed back now, and he seems more presented than you previously recall even though he is underdressed.
"Uhm. . ." You squeak nervously. You can't even grasp what is going on. You just sit and stare at him in silence. He does too, but only for a few moments.
"You've had quite a nap," he says nonchalantly. You're still speechless, so he rolls his eyes and continues with a sigh. "Really, could you close your mouth? It's unladylike." Quickly you snap your gaping jaw closed, but silently curse yourself for listening to him. The man sits up. "As much as I distaste sharing a bed," he says as he gets up. A lazy smirk dances across his lips. "You're quite the cuddly one."
At this, you blush. You don't even know this man's name, and yet you've slept in the same bed with him. Unknowingly, of course, but that's besides the point in your eyes.
"What's your name?" You ask angrily.
The man looks down at you and cocks an eyebrow at you as if you're crazy. You look back up at him defiantly. He sighs, and pulls you up by your wrists so you're only about five inches shorter than him now. "Loki," he replies. "Son of Odin; Prince of Asgard, and all of that nonsense."
Releasing you, he strides across the room, and starts to dress. You look away from him, trying to make it look like you're not interested in the graceful way he moves his body, even though you most definitely are.
"So where on Earth are w-am I?" You start to say "we," but force yourself not to.
Loki turns around as he finishes dressing up in his costume from earlier. This time he wears a golden helmet that reminds you of a beetle's head. "Not Earth, (Y/N,)" he says. "Right now we're in between dimensions."
It's your turn to look at him like he's crazy as you stand in the middle of the room, and him by a dresser near the wall. "What the hell are you talking about?"
Loki shakes his head as he does something to the wall. A portal suddenly appears. "Never mind that. I have business to attend to," he says before looking back at you. "There are clothes for you in one of the dressers," he gestures to the wooden furniture beside him. "Also," his faces softens, but his mask of upmost aloofness soon returns as he starts to speak again. "There's food through those doors." He waves a hand at two, massive, cherrywood doors across the room. "You're probably famished from fainting earlier." Then he steps through the portal, and he disappears with it.
You sigh, and run a hand through your (h/c) hair. Then you go and sit on one of the many unique furnishings in Loki's room. You are starving, but you're too weirded out to even think about what lies beyond the ginormous doors.
