▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂
The remaining group had just all managed to just make their way out of the subway, with the gentle breeze of the air from outside was just surrounding them all and just sending more chills down their spine with what was about to go down.
"She hasn't even responded to any of the messages. . ." Chad was really worried for his sisters whereabouts, "Mindy always answers her phone." He retorted.
Citlali was just really attempting to be comforting him, she could somehow still hear part of the friend group speaking to Kirby, her very gentle voice speaking to him, "Hey, she's okay. Mindy is a tough girl, and there's hardly any signal in the train. I'm positive that she's okay, and will be here soon." She had given his hand a gentle squeeze.
He swiftly nodded his head, "Yeah, you're right. . . I just can't lose my sister, or you." He was just attempting to hold back his tears, as his biggest fear at this moment is losing either one of them.
Citlali softly smiled, and speaking gently to him, "I can't lose you either, or —" She paused whatever she was going to reveal Sam's name, she didn't even understand why she began to feel just a bit attached towards her new found sister, so she had changed the conversation for a split second, "Promise me something?" She had gentle began, her throat was getting just a bit hot before saying whatever she was going to say.
"Anything." He replied.
Citlali had just gone out and cautiously speaking to him, and had easily wrapped her arms around his neck, "Please don't sacrifice your life for me, Chad." Her voice had slightly cracked, she didn't ever want him to fucking die because of her.
She can't fucking lose him just because of who her father is, it's unfair. She felt so damn guilty now ever since she learnt of who her dad is, and how much danger her boyfriend is just because of her.
Chad had confessed, "I can't promise that, Citlali. . ." He'd sacrifice his own damn life for her fucking safety because that's how much she means to him, "I can't fucking lose you, and I won't." He'd take each stab just for her safety, and because he won't live with his conscience if she ends up hurt.
Tears easily brimmed out of her eyes, speaking to him, "And, I cannot fucking lose you either, Chad. I just lost Anika, and almost my mom, I'm so tired of this already." Her lips were trembling as she spoke.
He'd been about to speak to his girlfriend until he had been interrupted by Kirby, "Hey lovebirds, let's go." She had hollered at them, a light laugh had then easily escaped Citlali's lips who had released her arms from her boyfriends neck, and intertwining her hand with his.
A small smile had appeared on his lips, especially when their hands were just linked together. At least she was still here laughing at light jokes, he was just playfully swinging their hands together and just twirling her closer to his warm body, and just kissing the top of her head.
"I'm taking you out on a date after this twisted shit, pretty girl." He spoken to her, a small smile on his lips.
Kirby just teasing the couple, "Are we all invited?" She retorted.
Sam instigating more, "Yeah, we need to babysit." She had easily teased her younger sister alongside Chad.
Tara was just biting onto her very own tongue. She fucking wanted to scream just hearing all of this.
Chad had just gone on narrowing his own eyes at the two adults who were just in front of them, and sarcastically speaking to them, "We don't need babysitters, or surprise guests with us." He retorted.
Citlali lightly laughed at the antics between them all, speaking to them, "We can all have a night out and eating dinner together. It can be like a little we survived type of shit, but where we remember those we had lost and had loved before." She recommended as it seemed to be a good idea.
"That sounds really nice, Citlali, but what if one of us lost a bad person who had done awful things?" Kirby curiously spoken.
Citlali easily retorted, "There won't be judgment in our dinner table. . ." She softly mumbled out still had her hand intertwined with her boyfriend who was just staring at her in just awe, "We shouldn't ever feel guilty for mourning someone rather they were good or bad people. . . they were still apart of our life, and you're allowed to miss them." She simply had a smile on as she spoken.
Kirby felt understood for once, she had attempted to push back her tears as she had ultimately manage to open up the shrine, as all stepped inside, and heading upstairs.
Tara had easily spoken up, "Will be safe in here?" Her question was just directed towards the older woman.
Citlali had just easily remained beside her boyfriend who had his hands on her hips, his thumbs tracing circles on her hips for a sense of comfort between them two.
Kirby had reassured them, "I cleared the whole place before you all got here. . ." She had expressed before she had gone out and easily describing something that Citlali couldn't even see, "So, this is the only way in or out. He steps in through the first door, both doors then lock automatically." Her voice was just laced with complete seriousness.
Citlali easily felt a really very funny and also strange feeling, it was the type of feeling that you get as if it's a warning that something will occur. Something terrible, and you're not even prepared for it.
Sam sighed, speaking, "Weapons?"
Kirby had then gone on easily responding back to the question, "One gun, and I hold onto it." She retorted.
"Is that smart?" Citlali spoken up, her eyebrow raised that had captured everyone's attention, "We should all have a weapon for safety, what if this fuckface had then somehow managed to sneak in already, and none of us have a weapon for protection?" Sam nodded her head in agreement alongside Chad who had agreed with his girlfriend.
Tara didn't want to speak up, but she had actually agreed on with Citlali's statement that everyone should have a hold of a weapon.
Kirby had just easily shook her head, speaking, "I'm the only one with the badge here, and that's the way it's going to be. Trust me, Citlali and Sam. You're all safe here." Her eyes were on the two Loomis sisters before she had disappeared after mumbling on how she was going to check around the back.
Sam was just frustrated with all of this, especially on they couldn't have weapons, as she had spoken, "I'm gonna check in with Mindy, and see if they're close by." She had told them before her steps disappeared.
It had easily just left three teenagers alone. The very sound of Citlali's phone vibrating was heard, all while she pulled out her phone, "It's your mom." Chad softly told her, a small smile had appeared on her face.
"I'm going to go on and just take this call from her, so I'll attempt to search for you." She kissed his cheek before disappearing from his own view, and answering the phone with her mom that had just made her very excited to her voice.
Tara had bit onto her cheek. A very small smile on her lips that she can finally get him alone without her around. So, she followed in right behind him to wherever he was even now heading.
Shortly, after the entire call with her mom who was just rambling on how she is sharing a room with Gale Weathers, she had heard his voice from a close distance, but had then also heard someone else's, Tara that had just made her feel all of those insecurities, again.
"Fall out love with her, Chad. . ." Tara practically begged him, "I have spent a damn year assuming you liked me." She retorted.
Citlali had felt tears immediately appearing from her eyes, rolling past her cheeks from just hearing that.
Chad had spoken in annoyance, "I'm not falling out of love with my girlfriend. . ." He had snapped, "I don't know where you got that assumption that I like you." He retorted.
"Always defending me. . ." She had quietly spoken to him. She just wants him to choose her and not Citlali.
Chad had ultimately sighed in annoyance, "Because you were my friend, and that's what friends are for. . ." He had easily stood up, he was already angry, "But, these past few days all you've done is treat my girlfriend so bad." He had exclaimed.
"Because she had taken you from me, and from all us. . ." She exclaimed, a light sob had escaped from her mouth, "You were too busy with her, and never had a chance to fall in love with me." She snapped.
"I've known you for fucking years, Tara. . . I've only ever seen you as a friend. . ." His voice boomed so loudly it had made Tara flinch in simple fright, "But, at this point. . . we can't be friends because of your immaturity behavior, and I'm not going to lose the girl that I fucking love with my entire fucking heart because you can't respect her, or me." He snapped.
Tara felt embarrassed, "I'm — Sam, needs me. I should go." She wiped her tears, and just heading out a different direction that she had not even seen Citlali.
Citlali appeared into her boyfriends view, wiping her eyes, as his widened in shock that she had heard everything, his voice had softly spoken to her , "Citlali, sweetheart. . ." He had instantly pulled her into a hug as she had then began to sob against his chest, again.
