Now after a while
I've started to see
That after the past few years
How much you mean to me

I see you in my dreams
The way you always tilt your head
But then my alarm clock
Always takes me out of bed

If you were real
I'd hold your hand forever
And be with you always
Through this hopeless endeavor

I think you'd agree
That when we hold each other tight
We were meant to be together
And protect each other with all our might

This is truly a love story
As told in the books
Even though you're never really here
We keep the vows we took

Take this as a compliment
But don't take it as a big deal
For  all the things I said
Are just the way I feel
