My mom is reading the Ron Chernow Alex Biography, and I feel so bad for young Alex. He grew up, and was betrayed and wounded mentally so much that he never fully trusted someone ever again, ans he grew to think there was only suffering in the world and hate. He found it hard to rest and have peace. (WHICH IS WHY HE'S NON STOP!! He's constantly working because he's scared to stop! If he stops he feels he's vulnerable to the harm of the world.) I finally understand this guy and it's heart breaking. 💙💔
