black...that's all it was. your body hurted badly like you were punched over and over and over again...you tried to move but heard voices. they both sounded like females. you stayed still and listened. " oh! another on. how nice to have company again" "yes it sure is.." you slowly sat up and looked around the place. it was a purplish color and kind of dark. you looked at a woman who had a very showy dress on. her dress color was black with purple jewels that shined like the stars. she also had white hair that was all over the place. and she had long nails that looked sharp. "come over here. lets have a look at you" said the woman. you got up and walked over to the girls. The woman looked at you and growled "you disappoint me love. you really do.." you felt a fended by what she said but stayed quiet. "so many fears...so many desires..." you though about your fears and your desires and shook them off. then you head something out of the ordinary " i though you'd be bigger." you blinked in confusion and looked at her in shock. "don't be so confused...i know everything you got hidden in that brain of yours. I know all the terrible things you've done.so many good intentions laid to waste...i can see the regrets, eating away at your soul..." you were shocked at what she said, but she was right...but you continued to listen to what she had to say. "Hah! But your time has come and here you are, to grovel and beg." you felt shame hit like a bat in the face. "you cant go back...only death awaits you there now." you shivered in fear a bit as you remembered something that happened. you train of thought was cut short when the woman started to speak again. "fear not love, you've got potential! i can see it in you, and i can help change your fate. but if you want a new life, your going to have to suffer quit a bit to get it."you shivered but you thought about having a new life...a new started, then maybe you could change what happen so long ago...you smiled and nodded.

the room went black. you looked around to see words pop up to say Bierce's ballroom you smiled as the room filled up with light again. You saw that you were in a room with a statue glowing with purple mist and saw multiple portals. the you saw a staircase that led to a door that had....a closed eye on it? You shock that thought out of your head. that's when you heard the woman speak again.

               "the pieces to a powerful ring are hidden in nightmares behind each of these portals. find them, and bring them to me and you'll get your wish" you looked around the see the woman and a teenager about 18 maybe 19 next to her. you walked over to the woman and the girl."fail and you'll find fates far worse than death awaiting you here" that's when all of a sudden the first portal open with a loud thud that made you jump a bit. you saw that the first portal had a creepy monkey on it, you shivered but sighed. You walked into the portal and saw a long, red, dark hallway ahead of you, before you could walk any further the girl you saw was next to you.she looked at you "my name is Cheryl and I'm going to be helping you from dying from those murder monkeys ok? ok lets go" Cheryl started to walk. You started to walk forward intel you and cheryl got to the door on the other side. You saw Cheryl walk through the door so you walked through  the door to. you and Cheryl saw red everywhere. You  and Cheryl waited as you both saw the same symbol that you saw on the portal. that's when you both were in a hotel lobby. you started to look around. what you saw to your left you saw a table with a lamp in the middle of i with two chairs. there was also a pitcher of a purple shared. You looked to your right and saw a desk and many letters behind it, then you and Cheryl heard the woman again,
                                           "what a charming little hotel...bring back any memories?" Cheryl shock her head and looked at a sign that you saw as well. that's when Cheryl started to read it out loud" welcome. Breakfast and murder free everyday intel 10:00 AM...huh that's nice to know its 10:13 so i guess we have to pay huh?" you shivered in fear and shock your head. that's when cheryl looked down a white hallway made out of marble! "that's new" you thought. Cheryl started to walk down the hallway and you followed.as you walked you saw a cardboard cut out of a monkey in a red doorman suit. as you both were about to turn the corner the cardboard cutout fell. you jumped a bit, Cheryl pulled out her bat she had. you both calmed down and shook it off and continued to walk. you both continued to walk intel you got into another room that was full of the same tables like in the last room. you walked up to the table on the left and saw a pitcher of a monkey that had razor sharp teeth, and had a doorman's hat on and insane eyes. you shivered and hoped that's what you weren't going to face. you looked at Cheryl and she looked at you as you both saw a elevator up ahead, you both looked at each other and started to walk up to it slowly. that's when Cheryl gave you her bat. "here have this. you'll need it far more then me...anyway i have a knife." you took the bat and you two continue to walk up to the elevator slowly, that's when you both heard a monkey cry from the elevator as a monkey in the elevator jumped in the are as the elevator door closed. Cheryl glared at the door as a light came on, Cheryl looked at you and put her hand on your shoulder

                                      "ok look these are murder monkeys and they will not stop for anyone...so stay close to me at all times cause one hit by them your dead! ok? ok lets go" you shivered and you and Cheryl open the elevator door and you both walked in that's when you heard the woman "going up?" she asked, the elevator doors closed and you two started to got up....up to the room that you needed to go to.....they heard a doorbell as the elevator doors open. 

(start to play the song!)

you and Cheryl walked out the room and saw the same statue from Bierce ball room. you looked at each other and nodded. That's when Bierce started to talk again, " now listen closely...see those floating bits of crystals? those are soul shards, fragments of humans spirit scattered throughout the halls of this little maze, each crystal is remnant of one who has met their end here. gather them All then, the first ring piece will be yours...one more thing, your not alone, there are monsters in here, and they're looking for you, Here you'll need this, it can detect each shard's location, it was left by the last...guest to disappoint me here's very cleaver girl,just not a very fast runner...enough instruction, break those boards and let's get this party started!" after that you and Cheryl started to break the boards. you looked at Cheryl and she looked at you. that's when you parted ways .you started to collect the soulshareds. that's when music started to play, it was like a chase...but that's what you feared...that you were being chased. you continued on with the mission, that's when you came across a red shared. you grabbed it and on you map you saw two red square dots coming at you. you started to run as Bierce said 

                           "there here!" you ran, ran as fast as you could go. you heard the screams of the murder monkeys that you feared. you ran as tears go down you eyes. that's when you heard a voice in your head yell "it's behind you slid and use the the enemy shared!" you slid and grabbed the enemy shared and continue to run. you were crying well running but keep running. you heard the footsteps of the murder monkeys. fear build up in you as you ran, that's when you yelled "I just need a piece of your souls! that's all i ask for!" that's when you looked at your map and saw that you got 142 shared. "that was quick", that's when you looked when you heard Bierce say "you've collected half of the shards, I'm impressed, i would've thought you'd have shredded by now..." you smiled and continued to run, that's when you heard Cheryl scream a bloody cry, you ran to her and saw she was dead...but there was a murder monkey right in front of you, you felt a rage burn inside of you. you grabbed you bat and hit him on the head then in the gut. the monkey fell, you grabbed Cheryl's knife and started to run again. you ran and ran, that's when you notice that you were at 25 shards left. that's when the voice in your head said, "IT'S CLOSING IN, HURRY!" you nodded and ran to were the last shards were, but 2 of the murder monkeys cut you off, you stopped and ran the other way but there was a murder monkey was there to, you were trapped you also heard Bierce say "you're not getting out of here until you've gathered all the soul shards, you know that right? "then you felt Cheryl's knife...that's when you thought of a plan. you grabbed the knife and through it at the monkey on the left, then you ran and grabbed the knife and put away as you grabbed you bat and hit the other monkeys in the heads, knocking them out, you grabbed the last of the shares and started to run for the exit. "you've gathered all the soul shards, the ring piece is now exposed!" you heard the monkeys start to run again, you grabbed it then you heard a males voice "Hrgg...who's dares?!" you felt fear hit you. Like running into a brick walls, that's when Bierce said "shoot! he knows you here now, you need to escape, get to the portal, hurry!" the elevator opened and you ran in that's when a monkey broke a door down the  monkey started to run to you broke that's when the door closed, heart pounding as the elevator went down... the door opened you heard the monkeys screams behind all the elevators, you ran for it as Bierce said, "RUN, RUN!!!" you ran as the monkeys started to come bolting after you. that's when you heard a the mans voice again. "there's no escape for you...mortal!" but you were going to escape, even if you when being chased down by vicus, bloodthirsty, bloodsucking, murder monkeys! you ran around the corner and saw the portal. that's when you fell, you looked back and saw all the murder monkeys, you teared up, that's when a hand grabbed you and pulled you into the portal...the last thing you heard was the screams of the man....you were in such shot u passed out...

                  "oh good u made it, that impressive" Bierce said with a smile. Cheryl nodded as she went back to her bat on the other side of the room, u breathed heavily as the energy that was coursing throw your veins started to calm down, u decided not to day anything to Bierce or Cheryl. you went over to the nearest corner of the room and sat down, u heard a male voice as Bierce talked to someone, but you didn't care. all you wanted was to go home... but you knew that wasn't going to be happening anytime soon. but for now you needed to rest, if the first portal was hell, then what do the other portals have in store? you shoot the thought away and closed your eyes, u let the silence of the room and the voices of the other two girls here put you to sleep. you drifted off into a deep sleep, hopping deep down... that this was all a dream.
