State your business and leave.

-~LUCY~-

They had let me go with a few strict instructions. Natsu came back from whatever he was doing and now we were in his car, riding to God knows where.

"Where are we going Natsu?" Yes, I know it's the seventh time I've asked him this question.

"Can you be a little patient Luce? I told you I'm not taking you back to your place. We're going somewhere else."

"I know, but where?" I groaned out loud.

"You're asking me to ruin a surprise, which I won't." He scoffed and looked at me, eyebrow raised and a prominent smug look masked on his face.

"Oh don't look at me like that." I slapped his face, turning it in an angle that faced to the front side of the road. He laughed and nudged me.

"Come on Luce, I know you're excited."

"Excited my ass." I gruffed and folded my arms in annoyance.

"Wipe that pout from your pretty face Luce, otherwise it won't be good for you." He let out a shaky breath and combed his already messy hair with his fingers.

Eeek, he called me 'pretty'!

"Why not?" I challenged him.

"Never mind." He mumbled quickly.

Resting my head against the window, I yawned and looked out of the window, scanning all the sceneries passing by.

"We're not in Magnolia, are we?" I turned to him.

"We're going at the outskirts, near Hargeon. See the forest? There's an ocean behind it."

"Oh, so we're going to the beach?"

"No, we're going to my place."

"Alright so- wait, WHAT?! You live in Hargeon?" I asked, surprised.

"Correction: Near Hargeon. Look, we're almost there. See that house?"

It certainly wasn't a small comfy house. It was huge. The house was on a cliff. It looked like it was made of glass. High walls surrounded it, making it much more secure with trees planted on every corner. The doors were huge. Someone with a scar on the brow and under the left eye opened it, grinning at Natsu and saluting him. Natsu nodded in return and drove in, randomly parking the car. He got out quick and before I could open my door, he did it for me, asking for my hand. I laughed and put it in his, getting out.

"Luce meet my best driver, Mest Gryder. Mest this is Luce, the girl who I told you about." Natsu winked, his grin smoothly planted in his face.

"Oh! Pleasure to meet you Miss Lucy." He put his hand forward for me to shake with a bow which I gladly returned and shook his hand.

"It's my pleasure to meet you too Mr. Gryder."

"Please call me Mest."

"Well then you should call me Lucy too." I smiled politely and he nodded.

"Come on in Luce." Natsu held my hand and practically dragged me inside. The house was luxury to say the least. The outer walls and stairs were made of glass. White marble lined the floors. It was magnificently built.

"Your house is amazing, Natsu." I complimented.

"That's one of my mom's best works according to Wendy. She likes it spacey and the view from the roof is amazing. Wait till the sun sets. You'll be mesmerised." He spoke proudly.

"Who's Wendy?" Right after I asked, a really polite voice saying 'That is me' came from right behind me. I jumped in surprise and turned around to see a girl, maybe 13, with blue hair that were tied into ponytails, cascading down to her knees and breathtaking brown eyes. She reached just below my shoulder.

"You scared me." I removed my hand from my chest to shake it. She gladly did, smiling.

"Sorry. I'm Wendy, Natsu's sister. May I know your good name, Ma'am?" She voiced it politely.

"Lucy. It's a pleasure to meet you." I smiled politely, returning the gesture.

"Lucy, huh?" All of a sudden, her childlike smile switched to a mischievous one as she smirked at Natsu and laughed evilly.

"Ugh, would you stop it Wen?" Natsu growled and pulled me to him. "Get us something to eat."

"Yessir!" Wendy yelped and ran off, turning round, winking and sticking her tongue out to him and running away to the kitchen back again.

"You should treat your sister with love, you firehead!" I scolded him.

"As much as I love her, she gets really annoying sometimes. Leave it. Oh for the sake of- ow! Stop it!" He screamed when I pulled his ear and whacked his head. Hard.

Oh how I love it when I smack someone and their head jerks forward real hard.

Oh shit he got a whiplash.

"Sorry." I smiled sheepishly and he pouted with his hand massaging the whiplashed area.

"Lemme help." I slowly removed his hands from his neck and slowly started massaging. He let out a shaky breath and whimpered.

"Luce..." He whispered.

"What?" I asked.

"Stop." He whispered and when I moved back, his fists were clenched and his eyes were closed. He took a deep breath and let it out, running his fingers through his cotton candy hair.

Can I run my fingers through them?

Lucy...

Sorry.

"Are you feeling better?" I grimaced.

"More than that." His Adam's apple blobbed up and down as he gulped.

"Natsu uh, we have a problem." Mest said when he stood behind a door in a peek-a-boo position. "Someone's here to meet you."

"Who is it?" He said, his head bowed.

"It's uh, Strauss." He hesitantly opened the door and scramed away, leaving behind a silver haired, blue eyed petite girl in our view.

"Luce, go upstairs." Natsu growled, suddenly angry.

"Na-

"Now." He spoke slowly. I took the hint and started to move upstairs, already intending to eavesdrop since I'm a disobedient brat but who cares-

"Let her stay Natsu." She said.

Who is she?

"What the fuck do you want now, Lisanna?" He spat her name with disgust.

What is the beef between these two?

Hold on- Mest said it's 'Strauss'. Mira's last name is Strauss. Is she-

"I missed you." She gave a sad smile.

"State your business and leave. Take a 180 and take eight steps. The door should be in your reach." He sardonically replied.

"Natsu. Hear me out please." Lisanna stepped forward, only to see Natsu stepping back with a hard look on his face.

"I do not want to hear your bullshit."

"Hear her out Natsu. Give her a chance." I spoke in between. Natsu shut his eyes tight while Lisanna looked at me and smiled.

"I can see why you chose her as your girlfriend. At least she is a thousand times better than me." She sensitively spoke.

"Hey no-

"You left me at one of the worst times of my life, Lisanna. Even knowing what I was going through, you still left-

"I had to-

"Shut up. If you came to apologize , fuck off, because I'm certainly done with you!" He sternly yelled.

"I hope you find a way to forgive me. I came to sort this out. I had to leave for Chicago. I had no choice. Over there I met Bixlow, and my life changed. I'm really sorry Natsu. Both of us know it was never meant to be." She walked to him but he took a few step back. She sighed and turned to look at me.

"I came here to invite you guys to Bixlow and I's official engagement party. You should come with your girlfriend and family, okay?"

"You think I'll attend it," He scoffed.

"He will come. I'll make sure of it." I interrupted.

"Thank you, Lucy. Please do come." She requested.

"How did you know my name?" I questioned out loud.

"Take a wild guess." She winked and turned to look at Natsu.

"I'll see you soon. Goodbye." She bowed and left.

"What the heck was that?" I whispered out loud, quickly covering my mouth with my hands once I realized my mistake.

"Something you should've never seen. Follow me." He spun and headed upstairs. Obediently I followed, so many questions lingering and curiosity getting the sane side of me. He momentarily stopped on the second floor and turned to me.

"Close your eyes."

"Huh?"

"Tch. Do it." I closed them and took a deep breath. I felt the door being opened and light falling on me. He put a hand lightly on my back and gently pushed me.

"No peeking." He ordered.

"You know-

"Keep your eyes closed Luce. Trust me." He chuckled and side-hugged. Taking a deep breath, he whispered, 'open them'. Slowly opening them to adjust to the light, I gasped as I ran my gaze all over the place in amazement. He had let me to the rooftop. I could see the sun about to set over the horizon. The sea was sparkling and on the East side, I could see the forest lighting up.

"It's...

"I know." He held my hand and let me to the highest spot on the rooftop. We both sat there, our shoulders almost touching and the feet dangling. The ocean felt like a silk sheet shining in the light. The sky looked like the flowers in spring reflecting the light on it, creating a spectrum of so many colours.

"Natsu?" I gulped.

"Hm?" He hummed, taking deep breaths.

"Who was she?" I asked him, scared of his reaction. Before I could stop him, he smoothly told me a few things.

"Lisanna Strauss. Sister of Mirajane and Elfman Strauss. Left to Chicago for studies in 8th grade. Left me stranded."

"I see." I bit my lip.

"Is.... She the one?" I asked him again after 5 minutes. By now the sun had set and the stars had covered the night sky.

"What do you mean, Luce?"

I took a deep breath and shut my eyes tightly. "Is she the one you are in love with?"

Natsu laughed. He really laughed. "No," he chuckled before adding, "What made you say that?"

"I... I thought you guys were a thing and she left you. Maybe you still love her and like, can't move on?"

"It was a stupid crush. I was trying to move on and I was just... Attracted to her? That's it. I don't love her."

"Oh." I sighed in relief.

"Why? You want me to run after her even though I'm running after someone else?" He smirked.

"Wha- no! Why would I? I mean- pssh, come on!" I cleared my throat, "I think you should, maybe, you know, go after the girl you like."

He plastered that cute grin on his face and said, "That's more like it!"

"You haven't told me who that lucky girl is, cotton candy." I said to him in monotone.

"Why? You jealous that she's getting all of my attention and love instead of you?" He bit his lip and smirked evilly, trying to get a reaction out of me.

"I'd rather fuck chocolate than you, fire lizard." I stuck my tongue out to which he laughed.

"You can't fuck chocolate." He said very seriously.

Oh my my, it's not like I'm turned on or something you know....

He looks so hot.

"Oh I can. Are you jealous?" I retorted.

"Very. I'm really better than chocolate and if you want taste, we can-

"Shut the fuck up, you dirtbag!" I covered his mouth and laughed. He, in a wink of an eye, removed it and pinned me down.

"And if I don't, what would you do, Luce?" He stared right into my eyes.

Luce.

The way my name rolls out from his tongue.

"Ah... I... I uh...

I was stuttering. I was terribly failing to formulate an answer.

Guess who saved me?

Wendy.

She banged the door open, screaming for Natsu when she saw us, dropped the box she was handling, hid her face behind her hands, screamed and ran back.

Just great. Just fucking great.

We're screwed.
