Serena's POV

It started getting late so we set up camp in the woods to get some rest. Me, Shauna, and Bonnie shared a tent while the boys shared the other tent. I was helping Clemont make dinner when Shauna asked if she could help with something so I told her to go get some water. Soon enough me and Clemont finished making dinner and Shauna was back with the water and we sat down to eat.

"when are you going to tell him?" Shauna whispered to me.
"later tonight. didn't I tell you I was going to do it tonight before I can't do it at all?" I whispered back
"What are you guys talking about?" Ash asked us cluelessly. "N-nothing nothing at all" I said mentally scowling myself for not being calm. I turned a bright red to where I looked  like a tomato. He looks so cute when he's clueless.

Shauna kept telling me to tell him how I feel but I wouldn't listen to her. Soon it was time to sleep and instead I went to the stream that ran not to far from the camping sight. I was looking up admiring at the stars when I heard " hey Serena what are you doing out here?". "Ash you scared me! I didn't see you there," I said

Ash's POV

I was walking down the stream when I saw serena and I asked her what she was doing here. When I said that she jumped and I was holding back a laugh. " Hey Ash can I tell you something?" Serena said. I was looking straight at her and was surprised to see her talking normally to me because she usually studders when she's talking to me." Yeah?" I asked hoping to know what she was going to tell me. "What do you think about me?"she said while blushing." What do you mean?" I asked pretending to be confused. " Oh Ash, dense as always......" Serena said. The thing was, Serena and the rest of my friends didn't know was that I wasn't dense.....because I was faking the whole time. Everyone thinks I'm the dense and dumb one but to be honest, that's was just me faking it all.

My best friend, Gary, told me that if I don't tell them the truth that soon enough life will become a lie.

A/N I published this on Monday but I read over it and made some changes today so you would know when I was supposed to get it done but done it in advance because I was bored and I made it really short because I wanted it to be a cliffhanger. Also if you didn't already know I love cliffhangers. And also i moved the day to submit a character to chapter 7. Anyway,
