We were tuckered out from smashing everything in that godforsaken room. We fell asleep.

I woke up, Glen was not with me.

"Glen?"

I heard Mum retching in the kitchen. I ran there to check on here.

"Mum, are you ok?"

"Audrey Elizabeth Carter, where were you?"

"I was upstairs with Glen."

"Where is he?"

Mum was shaken up.

"I can't find him."

"Go back upstairs and check again!"

I ran back upstairs. The wrecked train room was no longer wrecked. It was back to the way it was before! I was shocked! I ran downstairs to see Mum's friend Dorothy.

"Audrey, you're mother is not feeling so well. Will you make her some tea?"

"Yes ma'am."

I went to the kitchen and put the kettle on. I eavesdropped on the women's conversation, I found out the truth. Turns out, Mum was raped at the age of sixteen at the fair, killed her baby when he was two days old. So, Glen doesn't exists!? Mum is traumatized, went on with her life like nothing ever happened. The kettle whistled, I got Mum a cup of tea.

"Here you go Mum."

"Thank you darling."

"I heard what really happened. I'm sorry Mum."

I gave her a hug.

"When I woke up, I heard a baby crying, there's no baby in this house!"

"Mum, does this happen to you a lot? Hearing things that's not really there?"

"I don't know."

I heard Daddy come in. Dorothy ran to him and he followed her to us.

"Elizabeth darling, what's wrong?"

She was mumbling things I couldn't understand but the only thing I understood was about the trains.

"Elizabeth, you went near my trains didn't you? I know you despise those trains."

He turned to me.

"Audrey, you do too, I know you do!"

"Look upstairs," I said.

"What's that supposed to mean, look upstairs!? You did something to my trains!?"

Daddy was about to undo his belt.

"Daddy, go look upstairs and see for yourself!"

He put his belt back on.

"If you did something to my trains, you'll receive the punishment of a lifetime!"

He walked away.

"Dorothy, I know you saw him too but-"

Dad got back. He was trying do hard not to laugh.

"Girls, don't ever scare me like that again."

I smiled, the trains were back to the way they were.

"Elizabeth, this is one of your games isn't it?"

Dorothy was so scared, she ran off.

"It is a game!"

Both of my parents laughed.

"Daddy."

"Yes sweetheart."

"How much do you love us?"

"I love both you and you're mother more than anything in the world, don't think I love you any less than anything else. Am I clear child?"

"Yes Daddy."

"Good girl," he gave me a kiss on the head.

Mum seemed alright now.

"So, what if he comes back?" Mum asked.

"As long as he stays away from the trains, that's all."

"I would love to see him again," I said.

"Me too sweetie."

We formed a group hug.
