" The day when you called me cute" Amanda spoke softly as she could feel their bodies getting closer

" yeah, what about it? " Jayson answered

" did you really mean what you said?"

Reaching his hand out of the water Jayson brushed the wet hair from Amanda face looking into her eyes "I meant every word"

                                     1 month earlier

"Amanda"!! Mercy yelled from the downstairs kitchen as Amanda was in her room fixing her hair.

Amanda only has a few more months left in high school before graduation. She has been planning ever since eighth grade which college she wanted to attend, which lead her to maintain a perfect GPA of 4.5. She prays in high hopes that the London school of economics and political science accepts her.

" you can do this" Amanda sighed to herself looking in the mirror as she opened her lip gloss. " it's only a few more months of torture and then you're a free woman"

" Amanda!" mercy yelled again but this time peeping her head around the stairs case ." don't let come to get you "

" I'm coming ma" Amanda yelled back as she hurried to pack her bag .

She then rushed to the bathroom where she took out her contacts from the case. 

" what are you doing?" Berlin's voice echoed in Amanda's ear as she dropped the contact to the floor in fright.

Berlin was Amanda's 7 year old brother, he had curly brown hair with freckles and a chin dimple.

" fuck" Amanda  mumbled with a stern look over to her brother " look whayt you made me do". she hissed bending down to the floor trying to look for her missing contact. " what do you want?" she continued to ask as she tried to look under the creases of the bathroom sink for her missing contact lens. 

" mom said you should get downstairs before your eggs get cold" Berlin replied.

" Tell mom that I'll be down in a second "

" that's what you said thirty seconds ago yet you're still here looking for your missing pupil " Berlin scoffed walking out of the bathroom.

" it is not a pupil , it's a contact lens u dum-ass" Amanda yelled after him rolling her eyes.

Seeing that her contacts were no were to be found she walked back into her room taking up her glasses.

she turned to the kitchen walking across the large room towards the refrigerator  "morning mom" she smiled taking out the jug of orange juice

" you missed the bus" mercy answered with a sigh "and your eggs got cold" 

" I can walk to school remember?" Plus who wants to take the bus with those noisy ass kids anyways".

" that's a ten-minute walk and those noisy ass kids are your friends"

" they're not my friends... They're more like people who laugh at me when I get insulted by Jayson" Amanda scuffled looking down at the plate of eggs her mom made

" whatever" mercy scoffed " just pick up some eggs from the store after school" 

Nodding at mercy Amanda took up her phone from the small table and left.

Having to go to school every day was like hell to Amanda.  But she knew she had teachers looking up to her, students looking up to her. And she also knew Berlin was one of her biggest fans.

A car horn honked from afar as Amanda stopped to look. Noticing the black Audi driving up to her she drooped her face folding her arms already knowing who it was

" well look who it is " Jayson smiled rolling down his tilted car window as he looked over to Amanda

Jayson José. The perfect life, perfect car, the perfect parent but the worst personality... How Amanda despised him

" came to give me another lecture on how flat my ass is" Amanda scoffed folding her arms together

Please.. It too early for me to sin " Jayson smiled showing off his dimple 

" the devil cannot sin himself"

" ouch" Jayson smiled again holding his chest  "I like that... did you practice that in your sleep?" 

" Please... " Amanda scoffed " thinking about come backs  to say to you will be the last thing on my mind" 

" well if I'm the last thing on your mind before you go to sleep then I'm honored " Jason smiled " but let's skip the chit chat.. you wanna lift? 

" Me riding in a car with you is asking me to unplug my life support" 

Jason then started laughing removing his hair from his face

" to be honest Amanda " he smiled looking her up and down " you are the best person I've hated since third grade" 

" gee thanks... you are such a sweetheart to say that. I'm honored...honestly " Amanda uttered sarcastically walking off 

" come on Amanda, it's freezing outside" Jayson implied. " I promise I won't saying anything hurtful to you for the whole car ride"

" no, thank you. go ask one of your bitchy girlfriends to suck your dick" 

" you're such a cliché" Jayson smiled." but suit yourself.... just freeze to death... I'll make sure to look classy at your funeral" 

scoffing Amanda pick up her pace as Jayson rolled back up his window driving past her 

" your such a cliché " she mocked pushing her headphones in her ears.
