Chapter 1: Weirdest Text Ever!
I woke up to a barking sound. "Good morning, Lexi." I mumbled, glancing at the noisy pug. It was the weekend. I had been half-dreading it and half-celebrating its arrival. Why, you may be wondering? Well, my parents had told me they were going out and they were leaving me at home. Don't bother asking me what they're doing, I wasn't paying much attention. I am plenty old enough to look after myself though, especially because my mum had gone on a massive shopping trip the day before so I had everything I'd need. I brushed my teeth and my hair, put on a slightly oversized blue hoodie and some black pants then turned on my phone. I noticed someone had texted me, the only problem being I didn't recognise the number. The text was a weird one as well, I don't think it was even English! Here's what it said:
O citreus omnipotens, in loco te voco ut perdat, ubi haec dico.
"O citreus omnipotens, in loco te voco ut perdat, ubi haec dico..." I muttered to myself. "What could that mean?" I stared at the weird text for a moment. "Oh well, it can't be that bad, right?" Wrong. Very wrong. I went to the kitchen and made myself a bowl of cereal, obviously pouring the cereal first, I'm not a demon. After finishing my breakfast and clearing the table, i was about to sit on the sofa and play on my phone when I heard some kind of creepy laughter coming from upstairs. Curious, I walked up the stairs and followed the sound into my bedroom. It was a mess. Right in the middle of it all, was a lemon with a face and limbs, dancing.
"Hehehehehe, do you like it?" it said. I didn't know what to say so I didn't answer.
"I can do much more as well!" the lemon said with a laugh then ran off downstairs.
"What on Earth..." I whispered then ran after it. I heard the same creepy laughter as before coming from the kitchen. After entering the room, I just gasped in shock. The walls, floor and even the ceiling were somehow covered in flour and sugar, cereal was everywhere and there were even a few shattered pieces of glass floating in the air.
"How did you-"
"Magic." the lemon interrupted. "Anyways, how do you feel about arson?"
"WHAT-"
It pulled out a lighter.
"You heard me."
I immediately snatched the lighter out of its hand before it could do anything else.
"Oh, I see how it is. Why'd you bother summoning me if you're not gonna let me cause chaos?" it asked.
"Summon you? I don't want you here!"
"Wow, thanks." the fruit said sarcastically.
"Just go away!" I told it.
"Hmmmmmm, how about...no. Bye, Katie!" The lemon grinned, revealing sharp teeth then ran away again.
I sighed. I knew I had to stop it, but how? How can I get rid of it if I don't even know how it got here in the first place? Then I heard a loud roar and some creepy laughter from upstairs again. What made that roar? I dashed upstairs and stared at the scene in shock.
"Holy moly..." I gasped.

Woo! Finally made this! Took me long enough.
Have an amazing day/night! Goodbye! :D
