Really quick guys, I know some stuff is happening right now I I won't get into it but I'll try to post a little more to hopefully make you guys a little happier as this is going on. Take care guys!

It had been five days since Danny came back and he'd been gone on a mission in his universe for a little over a day. He didn't get a chance to tell them much about it but told them he'd try to tell them about it when he got back. The team was just sort of hanging out in the living room when the zeta tubes announced Danny's name.

Usually they'd wait for him to walk into the room on his own but something just felt different this time. Rocket spoke, "Okay, does anyone else feel like something's wrong?"

They all looked at each other and knew they all felt it, they got up and started walking to the zeta tubes. But the feeling was getting stronger and they started running without even realizing it and when they finally saw Danny they were shocked, this wasn't good. After Danny had left the team he'd gotten his mission and prepared his ship to leave, G3 found him when he was almost ready to leave.

The droid beeped several times and Danny smiled at him, "Don't worry G3, it should be fairly routine." More beeps, "Yes I know, we'll be careful, if something goes wrong we'll fall back and figure out what to do."

The droid beeped twice and Danny patted his head, G3 got into his place on the ship and Danny climbed in. They took off and headed to the planet their mission was on, master Windu was confronting the Separatist forces to the South. Danny landed on the North side on his own, he was given the task of sneaking into the Separatist base and trying to find their plans.

If he could find a way to destroy the base without causing too much damage to the surrounding city he had to do that too. Getting in wasn't hard, figuring out how to stay out of sight wasn't as easy but he managed, when he got to the control room he had to take out the droids. Without having G3 to hack in it took longer then normal to find what he needed but he got it.

He could tell from the sounds outside that Windu was getting closer to the base, he didn't have enough time to take down the base. But he had the information and that was certainly better then nothing so he'd leave while he had the chance. He left the base and started making his way back to his ship, but a familiar and unpleasant feeling stopped him.

He slowed down before completely stopping and raising his voice, "Show yourself, I can already sense you."

He heard a low laugh, "So Maul did teach you a few things."

He knew that voice, and there were very few people that knew Maul had ever been his master. Darth Sidious walked out of his hiding place and stood in front of him, he was a distance away but Danny still didn't like how close he was. Danny took out his lightsaber and got ready for a fight, "I don't want to fight you but I will, leave."

"I thought you were smarter then that, you can't beat me young one, and you have something I want."

Danny knew what he meant, he wanted the information he'd taken from the base, and that meant he had something to do with all of this. Now a few things were making sense, "If you want it back you'll have to kill me."

Sidious took out his own lightsaber, "So be it."

They ran toward each other and started fighting, neither of them held back and Danny refused to let Sidious win. Danny blocked one of Sidious's attack's and pushed him back, Danny's hood had come off during the fight and Sidious had a disturbing smile on his face. "You're becoming part of the Dark Side, you will become a Sith soon enough."

Danny glared at him a little, "I may have been trained by a Sith and I may know the Dark Side but I will never become a Sith, I would sooner die."

Sidious responded by attacking again, Danny blocked or dodged all of his attacks but Sidious managed to get one attack through. Sidious stabbed him and drug his lightsaber to the left, Danny's side had been completely cut open. He screamed, he'd felt a lot of pain in his life but this was one of the few times when the pain was almost too much for him to bare.

Despite the lightsaber burning the wound he was still bleeding, badly, and there wasn't much he could do to stop it. Sidious pointed his lightsaber at him and Danny knew he wouldn't be able to stop what he was about to do. He was just sorry he couldn't say goodbye to the team, to Robin, and he'd promised to tell them about his mission when he got back.

Sidious raised his lightsaber and Danny had to close his eyes, he waited, but nothing happened and he heard something hit the ground. He opened his eyes and what he saw was shocking to say the least, he took a shaky breath before speaking, "Maul."

Darth Maul had used the Force to push Sidious back and was standing between Sidious and Danny. Maul glanced back at Danny and Sidious laughed, "So you want to kill your old apprentice yourself, well go on then, kill him."

Maul looked at Danny again, the Jedi knew that look, he'd only seen it a few times but he knew it and he knew what Maul was going to do. The Sith took out his lightsaber and activated it before getting ready for a fight, Sidious frowned and Danny smiled. Sidious spoke, "I see, then you'll die with him."

Danny made himself stand and he used the Force to get his lightsaber back, he stood with his old master and they waited for Sidious to make his move. Sidious attacked first and they fought back, Danny was weak but he wasn't giving up without a fight. Sidious fended both of them off and he used the Force to push Maul back and he went after Danny.

He was weaker so he'd be easier to kill, Sidious had knocked his lightsaber out of his hand again and moved to finally kill him. At the last second Maul pushed him out of the way and took the hit himself, Danny's eyes widened, "Maul!"

Sidious pulled his lightsaber out and Danny used the Force to throw him back, it was more powerful then he expected. Danny ignored that and caught Maul despite the pain it caused him and he felt tears gather in his eyes. "Maul, hey, you're going to be okay."

Maul shook his head a little, "No I won't, we both know that apprentice."

The tears fell, "Don't say that, I can help you."

Maul grabbed his hand, "It will kill you, it's too late for me, get out of here, now."

Danny shook his head, "I can't, master I can't."

Maul looked him in the eye, "Yes you can." Maul put his lightsaber in the Jedi's hand, "I failed you before, I'm not going to do it again."

Maul's eyes slowly closed and his body faded, he was gone, Danny felt more tears fall but he wiped them away. Sidious was still recovering so this was his only chance to run and that's exactly what Danny did, he ran and didn't look back. He held Maul's lightsaber as tightly as he could and ran to his ship while holding his side, when he finally reached it he jumped inside.

"G3, go now!"

G3 immediately closed the hatch to the ship and took off, Danny took out what few medical supplies he had and tried to at least slow the bleeding. G3 put the ship into hyper drive and went directly to Coruscant, when they finally made it back Danny felt weak. G3 got out of the ship and Danny took the drive with the information on it out and handed it to the droid.

"Give this to one of my masters." The droid beeped a few times, "There's no one to get me help here G3, when my masters get back tell them what happened."

The droid beeped again and Danny smiled before making himself walk to the portal, it was his only chance of surviving this. He went through and ended up in the batcave, Alfred wasn't there nor was anyone else, the mountain was his only option. He got to the zeta tubes and went through, he only managed to get just outside the zeta tubes before his legs gave out.

He couldn't stay awake, he was too tired, his eyes closed and the last thing he thought was that he was sorry, for everything.
