Danny walked into the mountain to see Captain Marvel fly off while the team was training and he quietly sighed. He'd just come back from a very stressful battle and didn't want to do anything but rest, though he knew that wouldn't happen. His clothes were a bit torn and you could see bandages under the tears, he hadn't had time to get new clothes.

Black Canary stopped the training session and spoke, "Good work everyone, in fact it's been a very productive week."

Artemis spoke, "Yeah, for everyone except Kid malingerer."

Kid Flash looked offended, "Hey, arm broken in combat against the Injustice League here, and Danny didn't train either."

Danny thought about saying that was because he trained somewhere else, that and he was helping fight a war, but decided against it. Black Canary smiled and laughed a little, "I've really enjoyed being your, uh, den mother this week."

The zeta tubes then announced Zatara's arrival and Danny joined the team to see what was going on. Zatara then granted access to someone else and the zeta tubes announced them as Zatanna which likely meant that they were a girl. When she appeared in the zeta tube Zatara spoke, "Zatanna, this is the team."

Zatara gestured toward the team before looking at the heroes, "Team, my daughter, Zatanna."

Zatanna gave Danny a strange look before Miss Martian flew up to her, "Hi, I'm Megan, this is Wally, Artemis, Kaldur, Connor, Robin, and Danny."

Kid Flash looked at Danny in shock, "Wait, when did you get here?"

Danny stayed silent and Aqualad spoke, "Welcome to the cave."

Zatanna smiled, "Thanks."

Robin spoke, "So, are you joining the team?"

Zatara spoke, "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, this is strictly a visit, though I am sorry we missed the training, it's something from which Zatanna could benefit."

Miss Martian created a mind link and spoke into it, 'Do the rest of you get the impression we're still on probation with Zatara.'

Superboy spoke, 'Not just Zatara, I mean, why is Marvel still hanging around?'

Kid Flash spoke, 'Because we like having him around.'

Artemis spoke, 'You like having him around because he waits on you hand and foot.'

'And your point is?'

Aqualad spoke, 'It almost makes one nostalgic for Red Tornado's tenure as our supervisor.'

Robin spoke, 'Yeah, at least he trusted us.'

Superboy looked angry, 'If you ignore the fact that we shouldn't have trusted him, he was a traitor, that machine nearly got Me- all of us killed.'

Danny spoke, 'But we don't know why he betrayed us, he may not have done it of his own volition.'

Superboy glared at Danny and was about to say something before Zatanna spoke, "Are you guys having a psychic conversation?" The team looked at her before Black Canary and Zatara looked at them, Zatanna continued, "Cause I can't decide if that's cool or really rude."

Danny just quietly sighed and Superboy glanced at the two older heroes before sighing, "Fine, we were talking about Red Tornado. It's been weeks since his attack and the League hasn't told us anything."

Black Canary spoke, "The League is searching for Tornado, as well as the other androids that invaded the cave and their creator Tio Moro. Batman made tracking them down our highest priority."

Robin spoke, "But you've found none of the above."

"Not yet, but Tornado is Justice League, the team is not to pursue this."

Zatara spoke, "Why don't you all take Zatanna on a, uh, tour of the cave." Zatara looked around which prompted all of them to try and find her, Danny sensed her next to Wolf, he and Robin looked in that direction.

Wolf got up when Captain Marvel walked in, "You're giving a tour, cool."

Superboy looked at him, "Actually I was hoping you'd take Wolf outside, he needs the exercise, we'll join you in a few."

Captain Marvel nodded, "Sure, I can do that, come on Wolf." Captain Marvel ran out of the room and Wolf followed him, Kid Flash looked disappointed, "My nachos."

Superboy grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him along with them, they walked into the rest of the mountain. Zatanna caught up with Robin and the hero looked shocked, "When did you, how did you?"

Zatanna ignored his questions, "We're not really taking a tour are we?"

Superboy looked at her, "No, we're hunting down that robot."

Aqualad nodded, "Yes, we are."

Zatanna spoke, "Oh wow, out loud and everything."

Artemis spoke, "What about new girl?"

Robin looked at Artemis, "I'm sure she won't tell."

Robin didn't sound too convinced and Zatanna smiled at him, "I can't tell, not if you kidnap me."

Artemis spoke, "Oh she's going to fit in great."

The team headed to the bio-ship and Danny forced himself not to react when his wounds flared up, getting shot in the back made sitting hurt. Black Canary called and she showed up on screen, "M'gann, the bioship wasn't authorized for departure."

Miss Martian smiled, "We're kidnapping Zatanna, to show her happy harbor, be back soon!

Black Canary looked confused but she gave them a small smile, "Roger that, have fun."

The call ended and Danny truly hoped this wouldn't end badly, may the Force guide them and not let them die. Time passed before Robin spoke, "Where are we going? Batman is the world's greatest detective, and he searched for Tornado and morrow in every logical location. If we're going to do better, we need an illogical solution, a truly dumb idea."

Everyone looked at Kid Flash and he stared at them blankly for a second before he smiled, "As a matter of fact..."

Kid Flash told them his idea and Danny had to admit that it could work, they headed there immediately. The team eventually arrived at Belle Reve prison and easily set their little plan in motion. Now they were in a room with professor Ivo, Miss Martian looked at him, "Warden Strange owed us a favor for stopping last month's prison break, he's given us five minutes with you."

Superboy spoke, "Spill Ivo, how do we find Tio Moro and his Reds?"

Ivo looked slightly irritated, "Now why in the world would I know how to find Moro?"

Kid Flash spoke, "Because, and here's a truly dumb idea, you're Moro's biggest competitor in the evil android game. Who better to keep track of what he's up to and where?"

Ivo smirked, "Ah, I see your point, so let me rephrase, why in the world would I tell you how to find Moro."

Aqualad spoke, "He knows." The Atlantean looked at Miss Martian, "Do what you must."

Miss Martian looked at Ivo and she used her powers to try to look into his mind, Ivo laughed. "Oh please, as if I've never faced a telepath before." Zatanna stood next to him and said a spell before Ivo suddenly spoke, "Moro's in a secret base beneath Yellowstone national park one hundred meters south of Old Faithful."

Danny was the only one that didn't look shocked, Ivo looked shocked, "Wait, what just happened?"

The team soon decided to leave the room and they headed back to the bio-ship, they left and Aqualad looked at Miss Martian. "Block out all external communications. Soon Canary and Zatara, Batman too I imagine, will know of our visit with professor Ivo, we haven't much time."

Robin looked at Zatanna and spoke, "Look, I'm trying to be all nonchalant here-."

Zatanna cut him off, "Why, be as chalant as you like."

Robin seemed to freeze and Danny forced himself not to say anything, it would be better for everyone that way. Artemis spoke, "I think we're all just trying to get a handle on your powers, could you teleport us to Tornado, or Moro to a cell, or force his bots to surrender?"

Zatanna spoke, "Or create peace on Earth for all time? Zatara couldn't even do all of that and I'm nowhere near on my dad's level, I need to know a spell cold, or else have time to prep it. Plus, all magic requires energy which usually has to come from within, I just can't make the impossible happen at will."

Superboy suddenly spoke, "What's our ETA to Yellowstone, I am way past ready to stuff Red Tornado into a trash compactor."

Aqualad spoke, "Are you so certain he betrayed us?"

Superboy glared at him, "Aren't you?"

Aqualad looked away, "I am not convinced, and even so, that makes him but the victim of his creators' programming. Certainly he deserves a chance to prove he is more then the weapon others designed him to be."

Danny looked away, growing up the way he did had been complicated, especially after he was taken from his home. He was sure that if he ever told anyone about that they would hate him, he hoped they would never ask about his past. The bio-ship eventually landed in Yellowstone and they all stood up, Aqualad spoke, "Switch to stealth mode."

Zatanna stood by the entrance to the bio-ship and Aqualad walked up to her, "I recommend that you stay behind."

Zatanna smirked, "Is that an order?"

Aqualad shook his head, "No, you must do as you see fit."

"Good." Zatanna then said a spell and her outfit changed, it looked like what a stage magician might wear. After that they left the bio-ship and headed to where Moro's base was supposed to be. When they got to an open space Robin checked his holo-glove, "Ivo was right, something's down there."

Aqualad ran in ahead of them and they all followed his lead, Danny sensed something and all of a sudden an incredibly strong wind came out of nowhere and blew them back. When they looked they saw Red Tornado flying above them, tornadoes appeared out of nowhere and they all tried to fight against the wind.

Miss Martian shouted at Red Tornado, "Why Tornado, why are you doing this?"

Danny noticed something out of the corner of his eye and subtly gestured toward it to Robin who nodded when he saw it. Tornado didn't say anything and Miss Martian spoke into the mind link, 'Message received?'

Superboy nodded before looking at Red Tornado, "Who cares why, nail him!"

Superboy ran off and Aqualad ran after him, "Superboy, maneuver seven!" Superboy turned around and housted Aqualad into the air, just as the atlantean reached Tornado the android punched him which sent him back to the ground. Danny, Robin, and Artemis ran over as Aqualad hit Superboy and Artemis shot a few arrows at him.

Tornado used his powers to send the arrows back at them and Danny used the Force to push the other two out of the way, "Look out!" The arrows exploded and the three were thrown back by the blast, Kid Flash and Miss Martian tried to attack him but Tornado. When Zatanna tried she stumbled on the words for the spell and Tornado stopped her before she could finish it.

All of the heroes were lying motionless on the ground and so was Danny, then he heard a voice, "Quite a performance brother, but we both know that's all it was. I have all your memories Tornado, plus a next gen processor, I know your next move before you do." The heroes started to get up while the new android tore the rock Tornado used to send them a message from the ground with his powers.

"Blowing a message into the sand." The rock broke into pieces and they were thrown at the team, Aqualad tried to break them up but several large pieces still fell toward the rest of them. Miss Martian stopped one from crushing her and tossed it behind her, Danny used the Force on Robin to move him out of the way so the rock wouldn't hit him.

Robin spoke into the mind link, 'Zatanna?'

The dust cleared a bit and Zatanna looked at him, 'I'm good, but Red Tornado's getting away.'

Artemis spoke, 'Is he abandoning us?'

Miss Martian spoke, 'I don't believe that.'

Danny spoke, 'I'm sure he has a plan but right now we have other things to worry about.'

Kid Flash ran toward the new android and he spoke as he punched Kid Flash and the speedster headed toward the ground. "You can not hope to defeat me humans."

Miss Martian and Superboy headed toward him and spoke at the same time, "We're not human!"

The android looked at them, "My apologies, I suppose the properly inclusive term would be," He crushed them using rocks that looked like hands, "Meat bags."

Danny glared at the robot and used the Force to push him back, Robin threw an exploding disk at the android but he caught it and it exploded without leaving a scratch on him. He spoke, "Tornado's memory files and my superior processing skills allow me to anticipate your every move."

Zatanna said a spell and something wrapped around the android's eyes, "Tornado never knew my moves."

Robin spoke, "And I bet you've got some good ones." Robin then realized that it sounded like he was flirting with her and he facepalmed, "Forget I said that."

Zatanna laughed a little, "I don't mind." Danny actually had to bite the inside of his mouth to not say anything and he could already taste blood. He had to take a few breaths to stay calm, he couldn't lose control and he couldn't say anything, he just couldn't. Danny looked up when the android then blasted off what was covering his eyes and he looked at the sky.

Just then the volcano behind him exploded and Danny knew that this wasn't good, just looking at the hero's faces told him that. The android sent flaming rocks at Kid Flash and the speedster dodged them before speaking into the mind link. 'He's activating a stage two eruption, it gets to stage three, kiss the hemisphere goodbye.'

Aqualad spoke, 'Hit him from all sides.' Aqualad attacked but the android forced him back, Superboy tried attacking right after but he stopped Superboy's fist before tossing him away. Miss Martian got behind him while in camouflage mode and used her powers to stop him. The android looked at her before causing the rocks to split and the heat from the lava made her yell in pain.

Superboy yelled her name and he tried to get to her but the android jumped down and landed between Miss Martian and Superboy. He hit Superboy which knocked him away, then he grabbed Miss Martian by the cloak she was wearing. Zatanna then said a spell which created copies of Kid Flash, she said something else but Danny couldn't quite hear her.

The copies of Kid Flash ran at the android and the real speedster got around him and grabbed Miss Martian. Danny used the Force to hold him in place so the team could have some sort of reprieve but he couldn't hold him for long. All of a sudden water came out of nowhere and hit the android knocking him into the lava.

Robin smiled at Aqualad, "Nice hit."

Aqualad shook his head, "The hit was not mine, look."

He pointed to an android Danny realized he was one of the two that attacked the team, hopefully he was on their side now. When the first android tried to get out of the lava the second pushed him back in to keep him down. The first used the rocks to get out of the lava but Red Tornado showed up and destroyed the rocks making him fall into the lava again.

He once again tried to get out but another android, the girl, attacked him using fire, the girl flew down and kept him where he was. The first spoke, "Sister, brothers, stop."

The second flew down and held him in the lava, Red Tornado flew down and also helped keep him in the molten rock. Danny used the Force to move Tornado just before rocks from the volcano fell on him, it was a little too close for comfort. The team looked at the mountain as it made everything rumble and shake, it would explode if they didn't do something.

Kid Flash looked at Red Tornado, "Tornado, listen, we're on the verge of a stage three supervolcano eruption. There's no turning back from that, we need to vent pressure, fast, but the ash cloud will bring on a world wide nuclear winter unless you divert it." Tornado nodded and the speedster looked at Robin, "Triangulate around the pressure locus."

Robin activated his holo-glove, "Right." He found the three points they needed to hit and Artemis used an arrow to hit the three points. Tornado flew up into the higher atmosphere and created a huge tornado to send the ash cloud into the exosphere.

The lava coming from the volcano cooled and Kid Flash looked ecstatic, "Yes!"

Red Tornado flew back down and he collapsed, likely because of the fact that he no longer had legs, and they all ran over. Sometime later they got him into the secret lab and managed to get his voice box working. Robin spoke, "There, that should do it."

Red Tornado's face plate moved back to where it was supposed to be and he spoke, "Yes, I can speak again."

Aqualad walked a little closer, "You were willing to sacrifice yourself to save the planet."

Red Tornado spoke again, "The planet would have survived, it is humanity that was saved, though not by me, my sister and brother were the true heroes this day."

Aqualad spoke, "My point is this, you were never the mole, never a traitor."

"No, I left to protect you from further attack and to find my creator, Moro."

Kid Flash then found a hand he wanted to keep as a souvenir and Robin smiled, "Red, we can rebuild you, better then before."

"I do not believe I should be repaired."

Superboy suddenly spoke, "Why did you volunteer to become our den mother in the first place?"

"I was the pragmatic choice, I do not require sleep, I do not have a secret identity or second life to live."

Kid Flash spoke, "But you do have advanced AI programming designed to learn, adapt, evolve."

Danny spoke, "You wanted to learn how to be human."

Artemis spoke, "And you couldn't do that with the League, they're stiffs."

Robin spoke, "You're not gonna learn emotion from Batman, trust me."

Aqualad spoke, "Then the cave was not only improving ground for us, but for you as well."

Red Tornado spoke, "I do not know if these statements are accurate, but perhaps they are true, and if I understand the term correctly, I believe I have come to care about you all."

Superboy spoke, "See, practically a meat bag already."

"Which reminds me." Red Tornado didn't say what that reminded him of, nevertheless the mission was over so the team had to go back to the mountain.

Kid Flash looked at Zatanna, "So, good kidnapping?"

Zatanna smiled, "Actually, yeah, best ever."

Artemis spoke, "So are we going to keep kidnapping you?"

Zatanna frowned a little, "If my dad doesn't ground me for life."

Robin realized that Danny had been really quiet and he looked at him, he looked more exhausted then he'd ever seen him. He finally noticed the tears in his clothes, and the bandages, Robin's eyes widened, "Wait, Danny, you're hurt."

Everyone looked at him and Danny quietly sighed, "Yes, I am."

Artemis spoke, "What happened?"

"I was shot, but I'll be fine."

The heroes looked very concerned but Danny just closed his eyes, he wanted to rest after the day he'd had.
