The next day the team was at the mountain, they started walking toward where the zeta tubes were while Aqualad spoke. "We have reason to feel proud of yesterday's victories, but one thing has not changed."

Robin spoke, "Somehow the bad guys are still getting intel about us."

Danny spoke, "And we have very little idea as to how."

Kid Flash spoke, "Yeah but at least we know none of us are the mole."

When they walked into the room Batman and Red Tornado were there, Batman spoke, "That's correct, the mole was Red Arrow."

Robin's eyes widened, "Roy?!"

Kid Flash looked absolutely stunned, "No way!"

Aqualad spoke, "Batman that can not be, he was Green Arrow's protege, we have all known him for years."

Red Tornado spoke, "Unfortunately the Roy Harper we have known for the last three years is another project Cadmus clone."

Batman continued, "We've learned that the real Speedy was abducted and replaced immediately after becoming Green Arrow's sidekick. The clone was preprogrammed with a drive to join the Justice League, which is why he was so angry over any delays to his admission, and why he refused to join the team."

"This Roy Harper had no idea he was a clone or a traitor, and his subconscious programming drove him to become 'League worthy', so he struck out on his own as Red Arrow. When he was finally admitted his secondary programming kicked in, and he attempted to betray the League to Vandal Savage. Fortunately I had already deduced Red Arrow was a clone, we were prepared."

Red Tornado took over, "Savage was subdued, but Red Arrow escaped, he is now a fugitive, armed and dangerous."

Realization dawned on Superboy and he rubbed the back of his neck, "If you guys hadn't rescued me from Cadmus..."

Robin spoke, "What- what happened to the real Roy?"

Batman answered, "We don't know, he isn't at Cadmus, we have to face the possibility that the real Roy Harper is dead." Everyone looked either shocked or sad, Robin glared at the ground and Danny hesitated before putting a hand on his shoulder to try and comfort him.

Artemis was going to comfort Kid Flash but she hesitated, she didn't know what to do, and that made her feel worse. Aqualad spoke, "The clone Roy, the team will find him."

Batman spoke, "Negative, Red Arrow is a member of the Justice League now, leave him to us." Danny then heard a beeping and Batman spoke again, "I'm needed on the watchtower, Red Tornado, stay with the kids."

Batman then left, once he was gone Aqualad spoke into the mind link, 'Clone or no clone, Red Arrow was one of us, we will go after him.'

Danny then saw Red Tornado walk up behind Aqualad and he got a bad feeling about it so he grabbed Aqualad and got him away from the android. But right then Red Tornado seemed to shut down out of nowhere, Danny didn't know why it happened but he wanted to find out.

Miss Martian seemed slightly shocked, 'Tornado!'

Superboy spoke, 'What happened to him?'

Robin had already started scanning him as Kid Flash spoke, 'He's totally powered down.'

Robin spoke, 'All functions offline.'

Zatanna spoke, "Guys, I'm sensing a low level mystic force at play here, I don't know if it caused his shut down but, now that I think about it, I was getting the same buzz off Batman."

Danny spoke, 'I sensed something strange as well, but the fact that he called us kids is odd too.' Danny noticed that Red Tornado had something in his hand and he took it, now this looked familiar.

Kid Flash spoke, 'Wait, let me see that.' Danny handed it to the Speedster and he looked at it, 'It's one of those biochips we confiscated off Cheshire.'

Aqualad spoke, 'Something is not right.' He then looked at them, 'Robin, Kid, Zatanna, Rocket, Danny, see if you can get Tornado back online, the rest with me to find Ro- Red Arrow.'

Aqualad left with his people and Robin spoke, 'The problem is hardware not software, but where do we start?'

Zatanna walked closer and she stared up at the entrance to where Red Tornado stayed at the mountain. "I have a thought." After Zatanna explained her idea they all went up to Red Tornado's dwellings, Zatanna went to get the body while he, Robin, and Kid Flash set everything up to download him into the new body.

While he helped he thought about his visions, they made far too much sense now and he wished he'd told someone. But they didn't even believe in the Force and he knew they wouldn't have listened to him, he still wished he had though. Zatanna brought the body down and Kid Flash plugged a cord into the human looking body.

The data from Red Tornado's old body started downloading into the new one and Robin monitored it from his holo-glove. Kid Flash spoke, "Download in progress."

Rocket spoke, "So Tornado built this android to party?"

Zatanna looked at her, "Not exactly how he put it, but yeah, more or less."

All of a sudden the zeta tubes announced Black Canary's arrival and Danny felt a disturbance. Black Canary spoke as she walked in, "Hey guys, wanted to check in, see how you're handling the-." She paused, "What are you doing to Red?!"

Kid Flash answered, "It's not how it looks!"

Black Canary looked a bit angry, "It looks like you're downloading his consciousness into a new body."

Danny held his hand close to his lightsaber and Robin rubbed the back of his neck while Kid Flash spoke, "Okay, it's exactly how it looks."

Red Tornado suddenly sat up, "Team, get out of the cave, now!"

Black Canary used her canary call and it tore Red Tornado's body apart, his torso hit Kid Flash and his legs hit Zatanna and Rocket. Danny and Robin dove behind one of the tables for cover and Danny's ears hurt from the sound. Robin lept out from their hiding spot as soon as it stopped, he attacked Black Canary who grabbed Robin's arm and threw him over her shoulder.

Robin landed in a crouched position and Black Canary was about to use her canary call again before she noticed something Robin attached to her jacket. It exploded and green gas filled the air around her, Rocket used her powers to seal the gas in a bubble along with Black Canary. Red Tornado spoke, "Black Canary is the least of our problems, we must abandon the cave."

They quickly ran to the supercycle so they could leave the cave, Danny carried Red Tornado since the android couldn't walk. When they got to the bike the zeta tubes announced the arrivals of Icon, Dr. Fate, and Captain Marvel. Danny used the Force to mask their presence and hoped they wouldn't look up and see them.

Once they were out of the mountain Danny stopped masking their presence, he had a headache now. Red Tornado spoke, "Stay off your radios, let the supercycle track Superboy, instruct her to mask all signals, we can not allow the League to track us."

Kid Flash spoke, "Right, of course, just one question, why is the League after us?!"

Danny rubbed his eyes, "Please don't yell, my head feels like it's being split in two."

Kid Flash suddenly looked guilty, "Sorry, but why would the League be attacking us?"

Red Tornado answered, "The entire League is under the complete mental domination of Vandal Savage. Red Arrow seems to have been his means, his method was something Savage referred to as starotech. An alien bio organism infused with nanotechnology and magic, it shuts down the mind's autonomy."

"Allowing Savage to reprogram the individual to suit his needs, even my inorganic brain was not immune. But the process requires 0.16 nanoseconds to fully integrate its host's nervous system. That delay allowed me to create an internal subprogram which would disconnect my power cells if I attempted to infect another person."

"Fortunately the starotech is body specific, as John Smith I am now free of outside control."

Danny looked at him, "So it took control of all of the Leaguers, super powered and all, without a problem?"

Red Tornado nodded, "Indeed, a remarkable achievement, one not easily countered."

Robin spoke into the mind link, 'Miss Martian, are you in range?'

Miss Martian responded, 'Here, Robin, linking both squads and decamouflaging.'

After an hour or two of talking, planning, and getting prepared, they were confident they had a way to stop Savage. Black Canary, Red Tornado, and Red Arrow used the zeta tubes to get to the watchtower while the team used the bio-ship to get there.

After making a hole in one of the walls they all went inside and Robin spoke into the mind link. 'RT did it, wirelessly bypassed security for us as soon as he arrived, Savage shouldn't know we're here.'

Aqualad spoke, 'Move out.' The heroes quickly went from room to room finding the members of the Justice League and placing the chips on their necks. Since Danny could walk around and stay hidden due to his powers and stealth skills he could easily find the heroes.

One thing he found odd was that nine of them seemed to be missing, he couldn't sense as many people as he should. Three came back using the zeta tubes in one of the rooms, the other six showed up where he guessed Savage was. Danny found Robin, Superboy, Miss Martian, and Rocket just in time to help the girls with Wonder Woman.

When Batman, Superman, Martian Manhunter, and Wonder Woman were all taken down the team ran to get to Klarion and Savage before they could escape. Klarion and Savage disappeared in a black and red portal and Kid Flash skipped to a halt where they'd just been standing. Aqualad walked over to Red Tornado to make sure he was okay and the android spoke, "Congratulations team, you won the day."

Not even five seconds later there was a beep and the same voice used for the zeta tubes spoke, "Happy New Year Justice League."

Danny was a bit confused as to what New Years even was, he knew it was a new year for Earth but he'd never heard of celebrating that. Then Kid Flash picked Artemis up, "I should have done this a long time ago."

Artemis smiled, "No kidding." The two kissed and Danny was so confused, part of him expected that but why it was happening now he had no idea.

Seconds later Miss Martian and Superboy kissed, then Rocket walked up to Aqualad, "Liking this team more every day."

She kissed Aqualad on the cheek before Red Tornado spoke, "Human customs still elude me."

Danny had to agree with him on that one, technically he was human but you could argue that he wasn't. Before he could even think about whether to say anything Robin pulled him closer and kissed him, of course it was only for a few seconds so no one seemed to notice. Robin gave him a very nervous smile and Danny gave him a small and very genuine one, they didn't need to say anything.

When the others finally let each other go for a minute they noticed that they were holding hands but didn't think they needed to say anything. Zatanna looked a bit sad but Danny could sense everyone's happiness for them as well as their other teammates. After that they went to see if the Leaguers were starting to wake up yet, they had to explain what happened to them.

Batman, Aqualad, Danny, and a few other members of the Justice League sat around a table that was in a u shape. After Red Arrow said he needed to find out where the real Roy Harper was he left, along with Black Canary and Green Arrow. After they were gone Aqualad spoke, "Something else is wrong."

Batman, Robin, and Danny glanced at each other before Robin brought up some images using the holo-computer. "The entire League was under Savages spell for just over a day, we've accounted for most of that time, but these six went missing for a full sixteen hours we can't account for."

Danny looked at the pictures of Batman, Superman, Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (John Stewart), and Martian Manhunter. Batman spoke, "Sixteen hours, what did we do?"
