Me: yes, dad just was upset is all. I'm okay. ❤️ face time tomorrow?

I couldn't help but smile like an idiot. Tomorrow needed to be here and my dad didn't need to fuck it up.

I drifted off to sleep but woke up in a cold sweat about 4am I had the worst dream ever. I reached for my phone and immediately called Sabrina. I'm not sure why but I did. I just wanted to hear her voice.

"Hello? Gray. Why are you calling so early?" She asked a bit worried.

"I-I'm sorry. I will go." I choked out.

"No, no love it's okay. I just wanna know why. Is something wrong?" She said it was hardly audible over the loud noises in the background.

"I had a bad dream I-" I got cut off by a PA system announcing flights. She was going somewhere but if it was important she'd tell me right?.

"It's okay love I'm right here. Everything is okay I promise. Go back to sleep princess alright. Turn on some music" she said in a soft, kind and caring voice.

"Okay. Night Sab" I said as I slowly started to drift just listening to her voice.
