"Hey beautiful" Sabrina said as she answered causing a blush to make its way to my face.

"Hey" I responded shyly letting my hair fall in front of my face.

"What's my beautiful girl been up to today?" She asked.

"Your girl?" I said trying not to smile.

"Yes my girl. You are mine..... no one else can have you!" Sabrina said with a laugh.

"Possessive there are we Miss Carpenter?" I said laughing as well.

"So what have you been doing?" She asked again.

"Oh ya know just your normal stuff..... cleaning and such. I really need to find a job and decide if I want to go to college or not. What about you? It's gotta be more interesting than that." I told her.

"Well.... you see I've been working on my new album that will be releasing at the end of the summer. And my manager told me today that tour starts in 2 weeks. They finally made all dates 100% final with all the venues. So I will be doing that soon" she said smiling widely.

"Ooo. Awesome" I responded smiling at her as my head filled with a thousand thoughts of what could go wrong during tour. How we wouldn't have time to talk or maybe she will just say she's had enough of me. What if she finds someone else to befriend? I love her. I can't tell her but if we ever stop talking to one another I think I would die.

"Gray....... what's going through that pretty little head of yours?" Sabrina asked pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Nothing. Sorry just a lot on my mind. Don't worry about it. Hey, about the tour are you coming near me?" I asked hopeful.

"Girl! You are my number one twitter fan acc and you don't know if I am coming near you? Yes! It's actually the first show of the tour!" She said smiling a million dollar smile.

"Omg! I need tickets now! Be right back! I've got to go!" I said freaking out. I knew she was going on tour but it never occurred to me to check if she was coming here and for me to get tickets.

"Gray don't gooooooo" Sabrina yelled through the phone. I had set my phone down against my pillow so she was now staring at my knee.

"Shhh! I'm right here! Give me a second!!!" I shushed her. The website finally loaded and I bought my ticket. And then went to buy vip. But as soon as I went to buy vip my heart shattered and my mind started racing and a million miles a minute causing me to panic.

"S-Sab I've gotta go!" I told her as I reached for my phone to end the call.

"Gray! No. I'm not going! If you hit that end button I am going to call you until you pick back up. But what I need you to do for me is to calm down. Listen to my voice okay. Breathe in and out with me. In, out, deep breath in then out. Good job" she said as I did what she asked.

"See everything is okay. Now listen to me alright." She said after I calmed down.

"Ok" I mumbled.

" I know you wanted to get vip. And don't worry about that okay. I have one held off to the side just Incase you were coming. I will have it sent to you okay. I just need your address alright. Text it to me later." She said looking at the phone screen.

"Sab. I can't. That should go to someone else." I told her not wanting to be the reason someone didn't get to meet her.

"Yes. I had them let me have one extra person for this meet and greet. Normally it's 50 but o made them change it. I wanted you to be there. I was really hoping you would accept it. Please accept it. We can hang out that day too. Please!!!" She begged. I sighed and nodded causing her to squeal. Just as I was about to respond I heard the downstairs door slam and my dad fumbling around.

"I've gotta go Sab. Sorry. Love ya bye" I told her and hung up right as my dad started to yell and throw things against the wall downstairs.

Honestly I hate when he gets like this but it's become such a regular occurrence that it doesn't faze me anymore. When he was like this it usually meant that he had been thinking about mom and was now blaming himself for her leaving. Which isn't the case. She left when I was a baby. 3 months after I was born. She said I wasn't good enough or whatever and that she needed to leave. Truth is she had found another man and didn't want to continue on with the commitment of a family. I think what mad it so hard for dad was that he had planned on proposing to her that following month but of course that never happened. And now every time around this year is when it becomes the worst and he gets more violent.
