Amani was a pleasant and easy to have child but she was only 3 so she did have her bad days. Sadé was trying to go to the mall and get some more clothes.

"You need have your clothes on mamas by the time I get back so we can go" Sadé demanded once she heard her phone ring

Semaj is trying to facetime

Ever since they met at the salon Semaj and Sadé texted almost everyday and were trying to connect and vibe together. The chemistry with them is unbelievable they have some of the same interests and the looks were just a perk.

"Hey mamas" Semaj was just waking up and wanted to talk to Sadé since she always put him in a good mood

Of course Semaj knew about Amani but Sadé is not gonna let him meet her until she knows it's something serious.

Amani loved Alicia and Zena so Sadé knew her daughter wouldn't be uncomfortable at all so she accepted.

"Mommy I'm all dressed" Amani came in the room with the outfit Sadé picked out. A lavender shirt with little gray biker shorts and lavender UGG slides.

"bon travay mamas"(good job mamas) Sadé spoke in Creole to Amani. She always wanted Mani to know her Haitian roots. Sadé's parents made sure she knew the cuisines, language and visited the country many times. Sadé couldn't wait to take Mani in the summer.

Sadé of course wasn't done getting ready. Yes, Sadé did threaten to leave Amani at the house but it was only because Amani liked to drag her feet.

Sadé did a quick  and light beat to her face making sure to put on her big minks with her curly Malaysian lace front in a half up half down. She put on some black biker shorts, a black pulp fiction shirt with some fluffy slides.

Making sure she had her wallet, lipgloss, and taser in her black Chanel bag. She probably was gonna be too hot but at least she cute with it.

"Ready mamas" Amani also had a mini backpack with her lipgloss that she absolutely had to have.

"Wait mama my hair"
Sadé quickly slicked Amani's hair down into the  2 ponytails Mani likes.

"Okay now we ready?"

"Nooo silly you have to take my picture" Amani giggled at her mother not thinking about her daily picture

Sadé giggled along with Amani and pulled out her phone

"Just smile girl" Sadé shook her head

Sadé and Amani looked nothing alike besides the eyes. Amani was the spitting image of Amari; her father.

"look at me? look at my mama y'all" Sadé laughed at her and ended the video. She could always count on Amani to hype her up.

"Ma let's go to Neiman's"

"Stop playin mommy, lets get some stuff and I'll pay you back in the future when I get a job"

Sadé shook her head and laughed.

The first place they went to was the food court where they got cinnamon pretzels with icing; it was tradition every time they came.

"Man Mani you not going shopping with me no more" Amani was so spoiled by everyone it was horrible. Of course she was a good kid so she wasn't a brat but she sure was rotten.

"See mommy you doing too much now imma tell granny on you"

"You ready to go to Tete Licia house and see Zena" Sadé asked as she packed Amani's duffel bag

"Yes I can't wait mommy. Zena is my bestie"

Sadé smiled at Amani and her cheerful voice

"Okay they coming to get you in a little bit, what else do you wanna take"

"Do you have my lipgloss mama"

"Yes girl it's in your purse" Sadé loved the fact that Amani was a girly girl that she could dress up how she would like.

The doorbell sounded through the penthouse making Sadé zip up Amani's duffel.

Sadé unlocked her phone and opened the door when she saw it was Alicia from the camera.

"Girl where are y'all"

"In Mani's room we coming"

"Girl where is yo brother taking me tonight"

"Now why do you think I would tell...all I can say it you gonna have fun"

Sadé sighed and bent down to Amani and gave her a hug and kiss

When Mani left, Sadé still had about 3 hours until her date so she decided to pour a glass of wine and soak in the bath. Making sure her essential oils and candles were in the bath she soaked up her alone time by reading a book.
After soaking until the water got cold she quickly got out and took a shower.

Sadé stood clad in a silk robe debating what to wear in her closet.

Once she found a outfit she hurried to do her makeup and hair. At first she was running o. good timing but now she is very late.

She straightened her hair as quick as she could and did a quick beat making sure her eyeshadow popped.

When she got the text that Semaj was on the way she hurried and pulled on a black Star Wars graphic t-shirt with distressed mom jeans and white Air Force 1s

When Sadé heard the doorbell ring she hurried and grabbed her black Chanel bag.

"Hey boo" Sadé smiled at Semaj as he looked her up and down with his bottom lip tucked.

"Hey mamas you look beautiful as fuck why you ain't send me a picture like I said"

Sadé blushed as he gave her a hug gripping her waist.

"I'm sorry I was running late"

The two walked outside and Semaj held the car door open for her to get in.
