Luffy

"I need my swords." The other said and Luffy nodded with a grin. "So you're a swordsman?~"

The other nodded and Luffy went back to his side of the post. As soon as he was facing forward. He took note of two heads that popped over the wall that surrounded and sealed the courtyard. One was of a girl with brown hair on pigtails. The other was is a boy with pink hair and glasses. He seemed to be the more nervous one of the two, shaking and fidgeting. The girl began to craw over the ledge, one leg swinging over the wall , then the other. The boy began to shout and panic and shake more. By the time he had given up the girl was already halfway across the courtyard, running toward the post.

The girl stops in front of Luffy, huffing slightly. Luffy took note of something she was holding against her chest. "Ah, I didn't know there were two of you! I would've brought more." She said in between breathes. She opens her arms to show two rice balls. As much as Luffy wanted to stuff his face he knew the other needed it more. "Give it to him." He says. The girl didn't question it and she ran to the other side. Footsteps were heard and Luffy looked forward again to be greeted with the same pink haired boy he saw earlier in one of the cells. "Ho~ you got out?" He says I'm curiosity.

The looked around a few times before going to the ropes around Luffy's arms. "You know if you get caught you'll get in trouble?" The boy kept a stern face but Luffy could tell he was nervous by the way his legs were shaking. "I honestly don't know what you did or how you got here, but you don't deserve this. That girl told me what happened to the other guy behind you and he doesn't deserve it either." He says and Luffy's arm was free. "You work pretty fast!" He says as the boy begins on his other arm. "Are you gonna untie him too?" He says cocking his head back to the other behind him. The boy stops and looks over Luffy's shoulder. "I guess."

"Much appreciated." The voice behind him called out making the boy jump out of place and Luffy made a hearty laugh. "H-he's alive?!" He shouted. "Of course I am." Once Luffy's arm was undone he stretched his head back to it was in front of Zoro again. "Ne, I'm gonna go get your sword, okay?" He said and made his head come back. The pink haired boy's jaw dropped when Luffy's head came back in place. "H-How...." The little girl ran back around and smiled up at Luffy. "That's cool!" She beamed. Luffy patted her head. He managed to wiggle out of the ropes on his waist and jump down. He places the Strawhat that was on his back on his head.

"What's your name?" He asked the boy. The boy straightened up. "K-Koby!" Luffy nodded. "Can you untie my friend too?" He asks and the other nods before running off. "Onii-san?" The girls asks and Luffy bends down to her level. "Are you gonna get that mean ugly man?" She asks and he nods, a huge grin on his face. "Yep. I'm gonna kick his ass!" He pats the girl's head and brings his arm up.

GOMU GOMU NO ROCKET

And just then to make the girl's smile even wider Luffy shot himself across the courtyard into the massive building, leaving the shocked and excited faces of the three.

Luffy ran down the expensive looking halls smiling to himself. It kind of reminded him of home. The fuzzy carpets and expensive lights hanging from the ceilings. The only thing that was missing was the smell of food and his brother laughing with him. He almost felt a pang in his chest at the memory of his brother, he wondered what him and his uncle Shanks were doing right now. Probably looking for him.

"HEY YOU!!" Luffy skidded to a hault when he saw the blonde staring at him. "OI! It's you Hippo!" Without even waiting for a response from the other man and wrapped his arm around him and threw him over his shoulder. "What the hell do you think you're doing!?" the blonde shouted. "I gotta find his sword!" Luffy shouted while making a mad dash down the hall. "You mean that scandral Zoro? No way in-" Luffy purposely let his grip go on the blonde, causing the other smack his head on the floor a couple of times.

Hmm, so his name is Zoro..

He thought to himself. "T-THEY'RE IN MY ROOM!! YOU JUST PAST IT!!" Luffy came to a stop and turned around. "Why didn't you say anything?" he ran .down the hall and stopped at a set of double doors. "This one?" Helmeppo nodded while holding his bruised head. Luffy kicks the door open, looking around with a straight face. He spots three swords leaning against the wall near a window.

Which one is his? He thinks to himself. Instead he grabbed all three. "Oi Hippo! We're going down!" He called and Helmeppo screamed like the little bitch he was as Luffy kicked open the window and jumped down out the tall building. He braced himself for impact bending his knees so when he hit the ground it didn't hurt as much.

Like it could anyway.

He dropped the screaming blonde and ran straight to the courtyard. "OI!~" He called out and came to a halt in front of the two. Koby's eyes widened at his outburst. "Shhh! Do you want us to get killed?" He whispered harshly as he tried to undo the knots of the other. "Shishishi~" he ignored the other and showed Zoro the three swords. "I didn't know which one was yours. So I took all of them." He says. "All of them are mine." Zoro says. "Oh~ you use three?!"

"Luffy be quie-" Koby started but froze at the sight behind the other. Luffy raised an eyebrow and looked behind him. He was greeted by an angry Helmeppo with a group of men surrounding him. They had guns and swords and they were all directed the the three. Helmeppo then pit a smug smirk on his face. All the gunner's took aim.

"FIRE!!"

Luffy smirked as his hat was tipped to where his eyes couldn't be seen. His smirk then grew into a grin.

"IT DOESN'T WORK ON ME!!" He shouted as he shielding Koby and Zoro from the bullets by expanded his body. He gave a hearty laugh as the bullets we're ricocheted off of him and went flying in all sorts of directions. He laughed at the mens faces at seeing his stunt. He was pretty sure Koby and maybe Zoro were the same.

Just then a loud rumble happened and the ground began to shake. A dark shadow was casted over Helmeppo and the men immediately separated into two lines, giving a salute. The shadow grew bigger as the figure advanced and Koby was shaking to the bone. Luffy gave the big man a blank face.

"Who shot this bullet at me?" The man questioned and held a bullet between his fingers. Koby looked at the building behind him and saw a small whole in a window where a bullet must've went threw when Luffy sheilded them.

"It was him!!" Helmeppo cried, poitning at Luffy. "He did all this!! And broke my window and did this to my gorgeous face!!" Gorgeous? Luffy thought. He's seen food with better faces than Helmeppo. The big, tanned man took a step forward.

"L-Luffy! We need to get out of here!!" Koby squeaked. Luffy turned to look at him. "Eh? Did you untie Zoro?" And the boy shook his head.

"Then we can't go."

Zoro gave a slide glance to the teen. He sure was tenacious and he let a smirk cross his face.

Luffy jumped just in time just when the man slammed down his iron arm. He flew back with a big smile. "Oh? You're strong."

The man lifted his arm and held. "Do you know who you're talking to boy?' Luffy shook his head. "I'm Captain Morgan, head of the navy force of this island. He said seriously.

"I'm Monkey D. Luffy. Nice to meet'cha." He said.

Koby barely had time to register what the hell was going on with all the chaos going around. He watched as Luffy began to have at it with Captain Morgan. "OK. Kid!" Zoro called to him and he shakingly looked toward the man. "Give me my swords. If you want to make it out of here alive." Koby looked at the swords then back at Zoro than Luffy and back.

He bit his lip and grabbed the swords.

"STOP RIGHT THERE." Helmeppo shouted. Luffy and Morgan froze on the spot to see Helmeppo with a gun pointed to his head. How the hell did he get over there? Luffy thought. Koby stood there, shaking slightly. And when Luffy looked into his eyes the boy kept looking into Zoro's direction. Luffy looked over to the swordsmen and smiled. Zoro had his swords and was cutting his way through unnoticed.

Luffy turned fully around, his attention not on Morgan anymore. He smirks as he holds his arm.

Gomu Gomu No..

Captain Morgan's eye twitched before bringing his ironed arm up. "DONT TURN YOUR BACK ON A FIGHT!!"

PISTOL!

SILENCE

"Nice going Zoro." Luffy praised him.

"You two, Luffy." The other said with his sword in his mouth. The navy soldiers and Koby around in shock. They watched in silence as both Morgan and Helmeppo fell to the ground. Helmeppo had a huge bruise on his face while Morgan had cuts across his chest and stomach.

"Yosh!" Luffy said with a smirk. A thud came behind him and he looked to see the swordsman passed out.

"So you wanted to be part of the navy?" Zoro asked after taking a sip of booze. After dragging him to a restaurant - thanks to a little girls help- he was able to recover since he just passed out from hunger. Luffy in the other hand was stuffing his face a mile a second.

"Y-yea. That was my dream." He said and Luffy slowed his eating down so he could hear the boy more clearly. "How did you get there anyway?"

Koby looked down at his hands. "I was apart of one of those gangs going around. The thing was I didn't want to join the gang. I was just walking around and bumbed into the wrong people at the wrong time. They dragged me to their leader. Alvida. After that I was forced to work around a be with them. Then one day I was trying to run away so I took a ship. A soilder caught me and asked what I was doing. I tried to explain but as soon as Alvida left my mouth I was thrown in the dungeon."

Luffy and Zoro kept there silence as they continued eating.

"Excuse me!" A stern voice said. They all looked to the soldiers in front of the table.

"We would like to thank you for taking down Morgan and his son Helmeppo!" He said with a salute. Koby and many other people had surprised looks on their faces.

"Sadly, we will have to ask Roronoa Zoro to leave since he is an outlaw." He says and Luffy looked at Zoro and swallowed his food.

"Eh?" Koby jerked up. "You mean you didn't know?" Koby asked, even more shocked at how clueless he was. Luffy shook his head then smiled. "Cool." The soldier then looked at them. "If you two are aquatinted with him, you need to leave as well." He said. Luffy let out a huff of air and patted his stomach before standing up. Zoro raised an eyebrow but stood up as well. He patted Koby's head on the wah out. "Bye Koby. Make your dream come true."

"YOU'RE A WHA?!" Zoro practically screamed it. Luffy had just told him who and then what he was. Who would've known that a kid like him would be a prince.

Luffy threw his head back in laughter. "Right! My uncle and brother are probably looking for me now." Zoro had to stop walking to let this sink in.

"And you're telling me this because?"

Luffy turned around and gave him a deadpanned look. "Because you're coming with me~"

"To where exactly?"

"Dawn island!" He said happily. "And if I don't?" He questioned and Luffy died down at that. " you cannot." He said almost too seriously. He looks at the teen infront of him and saw the serious expression on the others face.

"Plus, I don't even know how I got here in the first place."

Zoro's eye twitched. There was the way real reason why he wanted him to come was it? He signed.

"Fine."

"Yahoo!" Luffy shouted and Zoro couldn't help to crack a smile.

This was gonna be a long adventure.

There you go I am done~~~

I guess you can say that this and the other chapter was the beginning.

Okay I know it's long (is it too long???) But like I said I take my fanfics seriously.

Also it was hard to do this chapter because I didn't know where or how to end it, so the ending might change. Plus I might have to reread/watch the anime of epicness all over again. So yea..

I officially ship LawLu!! I admit it. But I don't ship it as much as I ship ZoLu. But I probably will be making a book about them on my other account. Like after I finish those stories. Cough,- procrastination- cough
