Free Fall
TW/CW: mentions of ab/se, being physically hurt, thoughts of Houdini out of life (I don't want to write the actual thing in case Wattpad notices and says "no no, we can't have that here",
Let me know if I missed any
(3rd Person PoV)
Tommy had enough.
His stuff being blown up by Dream was the last straw.
Being cut up like a piece of meat by Dream's sword was the final snap.
Tommy collected as many blocks as he could when Dream wasn't around.
He was sick and tired of being treated this way. Sick of being tormented, tired of being made dependent on Dream.
He no longer wanted to be here. He no longer wanted to see the ugly shade of neon green that Dream likes to wear.
There was a small part of him that thinks that this a bad idea. That he should continue to stay in exile with Dream.
However, Tommy's anger suppressed that. He was pissed! More pissed than he had ever felt in his life.
And all of that anger is being felt at...towards him!
His tormentor. His jailer. His "friend."
Tommy began to place block after block after block as he went high up in the sky.
A tower of one block stacked upon each other.
One after another.
At long last...
He was high enough to barely see the river under the tower of mix-matched blocks.
This was it.
Just one step, one more step. And it will be over.
It will be over soon...
It'll be over?
Down
Down
Down...
His life began to flash before his eyes.
His childhood or what little he could call it, the wars, the frontlines, explosions, people dying, a moment of peace, exile...
That dreaded smiley face!
Tommy's eyes were closed as he fell but they flew open as soon as the smiley face flashed in his mind.
He couldn't let this be over! Not if he had something to say about it!
Tommy writhed in the air in order to make it to the river so his fall would be soften.
He couldn't die now! Not now!
Not until Dream either sees the error of his ways or he pays for what he has done to him.
Splash!
"F*ck that's cold!" Tommy yelped before covering his mouth.
No one heard him. Phew!
Tommy got out of the river, grabbed a couple of things to put in his inventory, ran to the river, jumped back in and began to swim away.
Where?
Anywhere but there!
(Time skip)
Tommy was shivering.
Maybe heading towards the snow after swimming in the river for so long wasn't a good idea.
He was numb and cold.
If he doesn't find a place to warm up, he might get frostbite. That can't happen!
Tommy's food supplies were running low so he would prefer to find a place that has food.
Just then, as there was someone above watching him, he could faintly smell the scent of a burning campfire.
Warmth! Where there is a campfire, there is shelter!
And where there is shelter, there is food!
Tommy quicken his pace and on the horizon, he saw a faint line of a house. A large one!
Tommy considered going through the front door but decided that, nah! He can't just waltz in the front door, what if the owner of the house was in!
What if the owner was someone who hated him?
It's best to go through a window or something.
And that's what he did.
Tommy went around the house, looking for an opening and saw that the basement had a window and it was open.
Tommy pushed it and he accidentally fell through the window and landed on a sack of potatoes.
His back popped and Tommy let out a sharp exhale of pain.
He sat up and looked around.
It was spacious and full of chests. What's in those chests?
He went snooping around and saw that one chest had a whole stack of golden apples.
He grinned and took a couple of them.
He bit into a gapple and felt his strength returning and his fingers warming up.
He continued eat the gapple, recovering his strength and warming up little by little.
He was still cold so he stole a nearby blanket and went to a corner that was filled with hay and curled up around it.
The blanket was a crimson red color and it was fluffy. It smelled fresh but old. Like this was a blanket that a child grew up with.
But it was warm and soft.
Tommy yawned.
Maybe a nap wouldn't be so bad.
(Meanwhile, 1st Person PoV: Dream's)
As soon as I saw the tower of mix-matched blocks, I knew something was up!
"Tommy?" I asked and went inside of his hut.
His sleeping bag was empty, no signs of the blond boy.
I looked around his chests and saw that some of them have been emptied out. Emptied out of important things like food, compasses and tools like a knife.
I didn't give him any weapons other than that knife so he can cut up his phone. It was always dull though so he wouldn't attack me out of nowhere.
Sh*t, I thought.
"Tommy?" I kept looking around.
I decided to look at the chat logs to see if anyone has died.
Tommy's name wasn't mentioned.
So that meant that he was still alive! But where?
I gritted my teeth together.
Once I get my hands on him, I'll make him regret leaving me!
Not when my plan was so close to being finished!
If Tommy is alive and not within my sights, my whole plan will be ruined!
I can't let that happen!
He must be around! He couldn't have gotten that far!
I will find you Tommy. If that's the last thing I'll do!
A/N: felt like writing in this! I'm just having a rush of inspiration not just for this book but for my others!
Sorry if I get some of their characters wrong, I'm not a professional sorry. I just hope that you enjoy this!
