I'd like to take just this one moment,  first,  to thank those who have read this, my pitiful first attempt at Galla Placidia and her amazing, terrible life. 
I'd also like to take this moment to tell those who read this, that I am not going to continue this recitation of it.
I'm going to write Galla as she deserves to be written. A woman ahead, misplaced,  and shaped by her determination and her place in the world to change it. A bright, vibrant woman who was more than the dry retelling of fact, dates, alliances,  and marriages.
I'm going to write her, as a heroine. As a Queen, and as an Augusta Imperatrix. As a mother, a wife, and a daughter.
It will probably go through many revisions,  rewrites, edits and title changes. Undoubtedly, it won't stay the same beast that is now trying to come to life through my words.
But for now, the title of this book-in-the-making.
The Indomitable Queen.

And I will be there, updating, commenting, answering, and correcting previous mistakes.
