"Yeh dono bachy kahan reh gaey hein we are getting late. The way towards village is deserted and we have to reach before evening" now raj said keeping news paper back at table.

As manik came downstairs after getting ready raj asked cabir and manik to sit in cars and himself went to instruct servents.

It's two weeks alya left India. And according to raj's wish they all ready to reach village for manik's wedding ceremony. In these two weeks many times manik tried to clear every thing between nandni and him but he couldn't share whole truth. He was scared to lose her and to hurt her once again. At the other hand nandni waited for manik to come and atleast share his side of story. He came many times but every time she got disappointed bcs he couldn't opened up with her.

During two weeks all preparations were done by ishani and mukti. Raj didn't want them to be hell tired like their engagement.

"Nandni, raj sir asked to sit in car and he also just coming" Aleeza said to nandni while walking out towards cars. Nandni went towards first one car and opened the door to sit. As she looked inside manik was already there busy in his mobile. Nandni went towards other car bcs she was totally avoiding manik. Manik saw she went and sat in other car with aleeza. Cabir was waiting for raj standing outside of the car.

"Cabir and Aleeza you both go in that car dad also will join you both" manik informed and without any delay Aleeza exited from car leaving nandni alone there. Manik sat beside nandni. Nandni tried to move away but manik held her arm pulling her closer. Raj came towards second car and saw his son already have done his setting. He smiled and left for first car. And this way Mr manik malhotra spoiled fun of nandni. She wanted to enjoy journey with Aleeza but Mr possessive malhotra couldn't bear it.

"Manik leave me it's not your bedroom ok" Nandni whispered in his ear. Her voice was full of anger and irritation. She wasn't feeling comfortable in his arms when there was one driver also.

"If I will hold you in my bedroom then you won't mind..?"manik took full opportunity of her words making her more irritate. She huffed angrily looking at other side and Mr manik was enjoying his mini monster.

At the same time manik's fon rang and now manik had to leave her to pull his mobile from his jeans pocket.

Nandni took full advantage and moved away from him in other corner of car seat. Manik smiled looking at her but remained busy at call. After talking he disconnected the fon and saw nandni was resting her head at back of seat. Her eyes were closed but manik noticed glimpse of tiredness at her face.

Cars were covering distance silently and he was admiring her silently when suddenly driver stopped the car with sudden break.

"Ouchhhh....!" Nandni screamed holding her head. She was in deep sleep when her head banged at door of car due to sudden break. Manik pulled her towards himself.

"Are you out of your mind. Where are your eyes. Hosh bhi hey tumhy k nhi" manik was screaming at driver while rubbing her head.

"I'm fine" Nandni placed her hand at his chest to calm his anger.

"Sorry sir it's forest area and suddenly animals come at front of car" driver apologised in low voice totally aware of Mr Malhotra's short temper.

"Drive the car carefully otherwise I will drive myself and will leave you here only" manik warned driver. Driver again apologised knowing very well that now he have no option for any more mistake. No doubt Mr malhotra really can kick him out and where will he go at this deserted road. Nandni again rubbed her palm at his heart trying to make him relax.

Nandni took a relieved sigh when driver started car and manik looked back towards her.

"Aap theek ho" manik asked still moving his palm at her head softly. Nandni nodded her head and pulled her hand back from his chest.

"Im feeling sleepy. I want to sleep" Nandni whispered looking back in his eyes. Manik felt it wasn't a piece of information bcs her eyes were pleading for his comfort. She was asking for his arms where she can sleep carelessly. Manik without any delay pulled her in his arms.

"Sleep. Don't worry I'm here. I won't let you hurt" his words were so promising and fingers fondling her hairs. His embrace was really so peaceful that she slipped into sleep without any delay.

"Why I'm feeling you didn't sleep since long time. I know I'm responsible for this mess. I will make every thing ok. My love and care will make you forget this horrible nightmare soon" manik was thinking, looking down at her exhausted face. She was sleeping at his chest. He smiled when she rubbed her nose at his heart and again slept snuggling into him, forgetting all bitterness between them.

Raj's car entered in haveli and there already was full atmosphere of a blasting function. In huge grassy yard of havelli already lots of chaarpaaie were arranged. All covered with white sheets, colorful pillows and cushions. There was a hustle bustle people running here and there decorating havelli.

"Wao uncle I wanted to attend any marriage in village and my wish of life now gonna be fulfilled. Yahan tou already jashan chal raha hey...!" Cabir was extremely excited looking around. As Raj, cabir and Aleeza came out from car ishani and mukti came out to receive them.

According to tradition of village for men all arrangements were arranged at different place. Havelli was enough huge to give full privacy to all women. After meeting cabir and raj, Ishani and mukti took Aleeza inside. Raj and cabir shifted to a huge hall where lots of elders and young men of village were gather for their welcome.

Cabir was surprised after receiving so much love and respect from those people. They arranged everything for their bath to be fresh.

After making everything ok driver sat back in car. Manik was praying car should start now. Due to continues fast drive engine of car became so warm. So they need to stop for some time.

Manik saw outside and it was getting dark. Little effect was of evening and more was due to black clouds covering sky so fastly.

"Please try to drive fast. It's getting dark and we have to reach in village asap" tension was clearly visible at his face. Way towards village was so deserted and forest at way was famous for dangerous criminals. He was trying to be relax bcs a car full of guards was following them but still he was worried for nandni. He can't take risk of any horrible encounter with criminals. Muddy path was making difficult for driver to drive fast. Horrible storming wind was making air dusty and blurring view.

Manik was lost in his thoughts when rain started increasing their problem more. Now which path was difficult to drive in dry condition will be full of water. Soon dry muddy path started to become a horrible swamp engulfing tyres of car.

"Uncle manik's fon is unreachable. I tried all contact numbers of guards and drivers all are out of reach" cabir was trying to contact them. Raj was hell worried for manik and nandni. At the other hand it's almost dark outside. Horrible weather and dangerous path was not good if they didn't reach in village yet.

"I think I should go with my jeep. In this weather I'm sure they have stuck in forest" abhi got up when he felt they can't wait for them just keeping hand over hand.

"What happened now" manik asked when car stopped.

"Sir car have stuck. It's not moving" driver replied. Suddenly once again lightening thunder rumbled in dark forest.

"Manik....!!" Nandni held manik's arm burying her face at his shoulder. First time in his life manik was feeling so much helpless and horrified. Guard came running towards his car.

"Sir way is blocked a huge tree have fallen at way" guards threw one more bomb at the head of already worried manik. Listening this nandni started panic.

"Manik what we will do now. Where will we go" Nandni was blabbering holding his hand. She was so scared and almost at the verge of tears.

"Relax. I'm with you. I will find any solution" manik replied cupping her face. He was trying to handle her but himself was aware they were in deep trouble.

"Where are you going" Nandni held his arm tightly when she saw he is going out of car.
"Wait baby girl. Don't be scared. I'm here. Just let me talk with guards. We will find any solution. Trust me" manik whispered politely knowing her condition. He made free himself from her hold and came outside. Rain was drenching him from head to toe. As he kept his feet out his shoes started to thrust in mud. He realised it's impossible to move cars at this path.

Nandni was looking around in the forest with horrible expressions. There was just noises of rain, branches of trees madly swinging and just faint voices of their talk. A bolt of lightening lit up the dark forest with loud roar again making her jump in fear. This time she was worried for manik who was getting drenched outside. He was busy in deep talk with guards. She couldn't listen them but she can see guards were pointing at something towards deep dark forest. Manik nodded last time with determined face and came towards nandni.

He opened the door and extended both hands towards her to come out. Nandni was looking towards him like a scared kitten.

"Nandni come. We can't wait whole night in car. It's not safe here. Nandni nodded and slipped towards him to come out. Before she kept her foot out from car manik slipped his one arm under her knees and other encircled around her back picking her up in his arms. She felt uneasy and embarrassed seeing guards around them.

"Manik put me down. Please your guards....!" Nandni whispered burying her face in his neck but manik didn't let her complete her words.

"Nandni this path became so much boggy you can't walk. Don't worry about others. I'm not embarrassed for holding my own girl so you should also ignore them" nandni hugged him tightly making herself relax in his arms. Two guards and driver joined manik to guide him and two guards remained behind with cars.

"How far is that cottage..?" manik asked guards when he saw her shivering with drenched clothes. In forest there was a small cottage where few rooms are available at rent.

"Sir we reached there already" guard raised finger towards one motel in worst condition. Whole wooden frame was becoming green with fungus. Window glasses broken of few bedrooms. In dark forest dim lights of rooms were telling living being is possible here otherwise it was like deserted ghost building.

They reached inside manik made her stand at her feet. She felt miserably cold when chilly air replaced heat of his body. Guard went at reception and came back with disappointed face that no room is available. Now manik was thinking what will they do.

"Its ok. We can sit at this bench. Atleast we can spend night here" guard took their positions near main gate and manik nandni sat at bench.

"Nandni, come here...!" manik extended his arms out and nandni slipped near him. Manik took nandni in his arms when he saw her shivering but his own drenched clothes refusing to give her comforting warmth. Manik never felt this much helpless that he can't do anything for her. She was trying to snuggle into him with chattering teeth and manik was continiously rubbing her arms.

"After almost one hour receptionist came to inform that for their luck one room is gonna empty within half hour. One man was going to leave when his driver came in jeep to pick him. Manik asked receptionist that have they any landline phone. Manik thanked God when he allowed him to use landline. Manik dialled raj's number.

"Hello dad it's me manik" manik started to tell whole situation how they are stuck in forest.

"Manik we can come to pick you both at Abhi's jeep" raj said in worried voice. Now Raj was more worried bcs this place wasn't safe for them and specially when manik have nandni also with him.

"Dad you can't reach here bcs road is blocked. Heavy tree have fallen at road and traffic is blocked. We have no other choice just to wait for path to be clear. Don't worry dad I have guards with me. We are enough to save nandni. Dad I have to go. Don't worry as soon path will be clear we will leave" manik assured raj before disconnected call.

Manik came back towards nandni and she was sitting at bench removing her shoes. She pulled her legs up at bench and curling up like ball burying her face in her knees. Manik was looking at her helplessly when receptionist came with keys of room. Manik took keys and without any delay took nandni upstairs in room.

As they opened the door they couldn't believe it was room of this raw broken cottage. It was small with bright wall paper, wood flooring, cozy single bed with finest silky sheet and soft duvet, best to sleep comfortably.

"Nandni guard is coming with one bag so that we can change our clothes" manik said removing his drenched blazer.

"Manik I have no bag in this car. My all luggage are in dad's car" Nandni made almost crying face when she remembered that her luggage placed in first car but she sat in 2nd car to avoid manik. Knock at door took their attention. Manik opened the door and there was guard with one hand bag of manik's cloth.

Manik opened bag hurriedly after closing door. Manik pulled out his one shirt and knee length tight he wears for work out. Manik gave it to nandni and asked her to go and change. Manik was now searching comfortable clothes for himself when he noticed she didn't even move an inch. Manik leaving his work came towards her.

"Nandni I know these clothes are not comfortable for you but we have no other choice. It's so cold already since last two hours you are shivering in drenched clothes. Please go and change.

Nandni went inside to change and manik also changed clothes in room. Beside bed there was one table and chair also. There was small window at opposite wall of bed. Manik was looking out from window leaning his back with table when door of washroom opened. She came out and manik looked at her from head to toe. He kept looking at that fragile slim figure in so much large sized clothes.

"Come here" manik called her when he saw she have stopped at door of washroom. She was hesitant and looking more cute when she tugged her wet hair strands behind her ear. She came ahead, shyly took his outstretched hand and manik pulled her closer. He smiled seeing sleeves of his shirt were too much long for her. He brought her hands up and started to fold sleeves up.

"Its better now ..!" manik whispered after folding her sleeves up.

"You looking, ummm———hot in my clothes" manik praised using words carefully. Listening this compliment she looked down at herself and she blushed squirming at her place. She gripped her shirt collar in tight fist when she noticed without undergarments her each ups and downs of curves peeking out more clearly.

"I...I'm..feel...ing...cold..!" she whispered with trembling words and turned around to hide herself. His smirk at lips and intense gaze making her feel naked even when she's wearing his shirt. She slipped into duvet covering herself from head to toe. Manik smiled more widely seeing her cuteness. As he moved his eyes again towards outside roar of guns echoed around building. Now manik stood straight worryingly and nandni also looked towards him.

Seeing his stiffen body she understood something is wrong. Manik switched off the lights covered window with curtains. He just left one table lamp on. He doesn't want any one can look inside that a girl also staying there.

"Manik these gunshots..!" Nandni asked and manik can feel she became scared.

"Sleep don't worry. It's nothing. Sometimes for wild animals they fire to keep them away from building" manik was trying his best to keep her calm. He came and sat at chair besides her bed. Guard came with tray of food for them.

Manik went outside and after asking guard he came to know that they saw few people roaming around building that's why they fired.

Manik asked them to be alert and came inside. He pulled chair near the bed and called nandni to eat food. She sat at bed and pulled her hands out to hold plate.

"You still feeling cold" manik asked nandni when he saw her hands shivering. Nandni nodded with embarrassed expressions. Manik brought spoon near her lips to feed nandni himself.

"This building is between forest and there is river all around the forest so here most of the nights become so much cold. Unfortunately they haven't any heating system also" manik explained while making her eat. After finishing their dinner, manik went to wash his hands. When he came back he saw nandni was already under the duvet again. Manik smiled while coming towards her.

"Let me come inside also" manik asked politely and nandni slipped back to make space for him at smallest single bed. Manik picked one cushion and placed behind her back so that her back couldn't touch cold wall. He slipped under  the duvet and pulled her shivering body into his arms. He tangled his legs with hers feeling her each part of body.

His hands were moving at her body which was cold and a sensual combination of softness and feminine curves. Their odd position of bodies sent a cold chill up her spine, raising hairs on the back of her neck but still it was heavenly peaceful. His warmth was giving her the comfort, she was yearning for after bearing 3 hours of coldest night. Suddenly table lamp had switched off may be due to any technical problem.

"Manik it's so dark. I can't breath in this darkness. Please do something" Nandni's breathless pleads gave high voltage shock to manik. This night can't be more worse when even they have no mobile battery for light.

"Dont worry you can nandni. You can breath. I'm with you" manik tried to cup her face in darkness when she was struggling to breath.

"No manik I can't. I can't breath. Please manik" she was almost at verge of crying pulling his shirt in tight grip. Manik felt more helpless when she was trying hard to suck oxygen.

"Manik I will die, mujhy sans nhi aa rahi. Manik" she was patting with her lifeless palms at his chest.

"Relax nandni im with you. Try to breath" She was holding his collar and manik helplessly trying to hold her. He was trying to get her attention but she wasn't even listening what he was trying to say. At that moment manik just wanted to divert her mind, from darkness towards him.

Her painful inhaling stopped when he pressed his lips at hers. His kiss was nothing but just love, care and tenderness. He started kissing her softly drinking her all pleads and cries. Even in kiss he could feel she was trying hard to just inhale deeply.

She tried to push him away placing both palms at his chest but he held her both wrists in his tight grip. As his kiss was becoming intense he felt she was losing her senses. Her painful struggle have been stopped little bit but her lungs still begging for air. Manik realised his touch was diverting her mind. Manik stopped kissing, nuzzled under her ear and his hand reached for buttons of her shirt. Nandni held his hand when she felt his knuckles touched her soft cleavage. Both were still breathing hard.

"Manik...!" she gasped opening her eyes, when he was trying to open second button moving his fingers more deep between her breasts. Again she felt a hard knot in her throat when her eyes met with just darkness around. Once again she felt her breaths lost and she gripped his hand tightly digging her nails in his wrist painfully.

"Nandni trust me. Let me make you forget your fear. Let me make you feel just myself at your body. Trust me you will forget this darkness. Please baby girl trust me" his deep voice continued with touch of concern and tenderness.

"Please make me forget this darkness. Please make me feel alright. Please manik I need you" she sobbed helplessly leaving his hand from her grip. She placed her shivering hands at his chest.

"Close your eyes sweetheart, just try to feel this moment" he whispered at her lips once again taking her soft lips for a gentle kiss. She was so lost in kiss that didn't realise when he opened all buttons of shirt. His hands pushed shirt away, caressing his hands way up her sides and paused briefly at her ribs. She gasped loudly when his fingers softly traced up until his hand rested at her breast. She stiffened briefly as she realised what happened but for manik's surprise despite of her nervousness she didn't push his hand away. Manik left her lips when he felt she is holding her breath due to his hand at her sensitive part. He pushed his face in her neck and sucked her skin softly.

"Don't hold yourself, Just breath and feel it" he whispered in her neck between soft kisses while his thumb moved gently at her nipple making it more erect. His fingers caressed her bare chest and sensational touch increasing her pulse. His gentle squeeze at her breast, rubbing thumb softly at hard bud and nuzzling in her neck was pushing her towards unconsciousness. His seductive touch brought soft moans at her lips.

This night he condemned her to walk path that led her to heaven forgetting fear of darkness. Her hands automatically slipped around his neck holding him tightly. Suddenly table lamp became on, enlightening the whole room. Feeling light nandni also came back in her senses. Her dilating eyes flying up to met his full of love before dropped down shyly. She placed her palm at his hand under duvet still placed possessively at her breast. Her cheeks tinted with crimson red colour. She looked down and pulled both sides of shirt to cover her nakedness shutting her eyes tightly. Manik leaned in to kiss at her forehead feeling her more beautiful while blushing.

She turned her face at other side facing her back towards him. Manik smiled biting his lower lip seeing her still uneven breaths against his chest.

"Are you ok..?" manik asked carefully but got no response from her.

"Nandni I hope you didn't mind the way we went so far" manik asked nuzzling in her hairs encircling his arm around her stomach. But in response she just squeezed his hand on her stomach. Manik knew it the way her body responded to his touch she was in extreme pleasure but still he wanted to know for his peace of mind.

"sleeping...?" manik asked with seductive whisper sucking her earlobe.

"Ye...yes...I'm... sleeping...!" she wasn't in state to talk. She blushed more when manik chuckled at her reply. Manik tightened his hug around her and closed eyes burying his face in her hairs. She slept with him many times but he was different this time. He was more passionate and his intensity made her feel a new level of emotions.

After few minutes nandni became relaxed when she felt his breaths deep and steady at her shoulder. He slept already and lying like that with warmth of his chest at her back was so soothing that she also slipped into deep slumber soon.

"Yeah we are ready. I hope nandni also will be ready" manik was talking at fon with abhi standing outside of the cottage. Way towards village was almost clear now and abhi and mukti were coming to pick them up at jeep.

At the other side nandni woke up and rose to sitting position rubbing her eyes. As warm duvet slipped down from her shoulders, chilly air touched her bare chest making it more prickled. As she looked down her eyes popped out with shock, the way her buttons were still open. She held both sides of shirt tightly to cover herself. Her heart lurched into frenzied when she tried to not think of him watching her like this when he would have woken up.

Throwing back the duvet she almost ran inside washroom before her vanished fiance will take entry back in room.

She took warm shower after taking off clothes and changed into her own clothes, which have been dry till now.

She came out and after drying she combed her hairs. She took his clothes she was wearing and went near hand bag kept at table. The clothes manik wore at night were placed neatly in hand bag, it means manik have changed and ready to leave. She folded his tights and placed in hand bag and picked shirt to fold when door opened. His heady cologne touched her nose and she forgot what she was doing. Every muscle of her body got frozen as he shut the door and walked across the room to her.

"Good morning" manik came towards her and whispered in her ear. She still didn't even moved from her place but her hands were holding shirt more tightly while taking efforts to steadied her heartbeat.

"Are you ready to go and if you didn't want to place my shirt back in hand bag then it's ok you can keep it. It will remind you of......." manik purposely left his sentence incomplete. Nandni closed her eyes tightly when she recalled their last night. She held his shirt close to her chest as she was feeling herself naked by just remembering whatever happened between them. She was too innocent for such bold step but she never pushed manik away. Always she gave her soul and body to him without thinking twice.

"So ab aap hamm sy baat bhi ni kro gi. OK koe baat ni cold and dark night is over ab hamari kisi ko zrurat nhi" manik have his own ways to show that hangover of romance was still at his head. Manik laid his arms around her stomach locking their bodies closer. Her loudest gasp showing she wasn't expecting this. Nandni wriggled in his arms when his hands moved up. She trying hard not to be nervous but still she couldn't stay still in his embrace.

She became relaxed when he didn't do anything but just took his shirt from her hands and folded it keeping his chin at her shoulder. He placed shirt back in bag and closed the zip.

"Come downstairs we are leaving" he mumbled at her shoulder picking hand bag from table. He turn around to leave but again moved towards her. Nandni felt afraid to even inhale when his warm breath again fell at her ear.

"One thing I forgot to tell you, your skin is so soft" as he said this Nandni's eyes became wide open, she gasped and covered her mouth. He kissed at her cheek and left the room with mischievous smirk. He gave her alone time to bring herself out from the electric shock, he gave her just now.

Manik went outside and his both cars with guards and abhi's jeep were already outside the motel. Manik met with abhi, mukti and cabir.

"Loh nandni bhi aa gae" they were busy talking when mukti went towards nandni. She took her in warmly hug. Nandni met everyone trying not to let manik affect her but his look of satisfaction and possession changed her face colour. Nandni kept looking down totally aware of his continiously gaze at herself.

"Ogling at your girl isn't sin specially when it gives so much peace but dude she gonna live with you whole life so you can blink your eyes" cabir's teasing whisper brought a dangerous glare at manik's face.

"Mukti you go with nandni with driver and me manik and cabir will follow you in jeep. In village this couple can't enter together. You know villagers will bring earthquake seeing groom and bridle together before marriage" abhi tried to make them understand and all took their seats respectively.

"Nandni why you becoming so red. Kaheen pre-marriage suhaag raat tou ni ho gae tum logo ki" mukti asked lowly when car started to run at road. Once again nandni got a high voltage shock. Nandni shook her head hurriedly and mukti laughed seeing her expressions.

"I know I know my brother is so gentle man, can't do anything with you" mukti said taking a flushed nandni in side hug.

"Yeah who might know him better then me how gentle man is your brother" Nandni replied in flow but as mukti again laughed nandni realised what she said.

"It means really something happened" mukti kept teasing nandni.

"Mukti di aap bhi, pehly manik aur ab aap bhi mujhy tang kr rahi ho" Nandni made a puppy face and mukti took her again in side hug while laughing her heart out. Nandni smiled looking away when she couldn't deny that his just name can set her every muscle on fire.

At the other side abhi and cabir were signalling each other seeing manik smiling lost in his thoughts.

"Are you ok Mr malhotra. Just one minute away from your bride and you are behaving like a love sick man" cabir started his job and abhi laughed at his comment. Manik glared back at cabir angrily before shifting his eyes back outside. He smiled when realised she was really playing with his sanity.

Both were away from each other but still their hearts didn't forget to beat for each other.
