"Bad trip ka talaga!" Hiyaw ni Amanda habang hawak ang tenga ni Jessica palabas ng kanyang bahay.

Doon na nakikain ng almusal si Jessica sa bahay nila at malugod na pinaunlakan iyon ng kanyang mga magulang dahil matagal na nilang kilala ang kaibigan ng anak

Natatawang binuksan ni Jessica ang sasakyan at pinainit ang makina nito.

Lukot ang mukhang hinandang buksan ni Amanda ang gate nila ng makita si Mr. Park sa tapat ng kanilang bahay.

"Mukhang effective ah." Jessica muttered under her breath and whistled as she started the car. "Mauna na ako, baks! Andyan na si  prince charming mo." Jessica gave her a flying kiss and to Mr. Park as well when she started to drive to her work.

"Hala sya. Iwanan ba 'ko!" Amanda grimaced and stomped her foot in annoyance as she closed their gate.

Amanda heard a laugh coming from across the street. She raised an eyebrow in response.

With her bag in her grasp, she marched past Mr. Park but he got her by the arm.

"Not so fast, beautiful." Mr. Park said and gazed at her. He gestured for her to go in the car.

Amanda frowned but followed anyway.

"Just so you know, Sir, wala akong choice kundi malelate ako sa work. I followed your order so I can proceed with my day." Amanda cleared her throat when Mr. Park drove the car.

"Just so you know, you're coming with me." Mr. Park grinned and started to switch the radio to fm station.

Amanda's jaw dropped and stared at her boss.

"Wha.. what?" Amanda pouted irritably and crossed her arms over her chest.

"I already informed the HR Manager about you coming with me, so chill out and have no fuss." Mr. Park winked and continued driving.

"Where are we exactly going, Sir?" Amanda asked still dumbfounded.

"You'll know when we get there. So relax and sleep if you want." Mr. Park said, his eyes on the road.

Amanda sighed and kept herself busy looking at her surroundings. She also observed how Mr. Park drive his precious car.

Mr. Park drives with ease. Fast but sure.

He drove through the traffic and seemed to know the shortcuts because after a short while, all Amanda can see was all greens.

They were passing by a luscious greenery and Amanda became instantly blinded by sunlight.

She was about to cover her eyes with her hand when a pair of shades blocked her view.

She looked at it and then at Mr. Park. Mr. Park nodded and Amanda gratefully took it.

"Thanks." Amanda muttered almost a whisper and wore it on her.

Amanda decided to enjoy the view outside the metro instead of complaining. They passed the tall trees and came along a wide road.

Out of the blue, she heard her stomach rumbled. Amanda gulped and looked down in embarrassment.

Mr. Park laughed in response.

"Wait a little bit, we'll stop at the nearest gas station and find something to eat." Mr. Park said smiling at her ams and maneuvered his car.

After about thirty minutes, Mr. Park arrived at a stopover.

"How do you like your coffee?" Mr. Park asked as he parked the car.

"Cold. A mocha frappe would be fine. Punta lang po ako sa restroom." Amanda said and got out of the car.

Mr. Park laughed and headed to the Starbucks for their coffee after locking the car doors.

Meanwhile, Amanda fell in line inside the restroom. It happened to be quite a long queue.

It took her ten minutes before she was able to relieve herself. After washing her hands at the sink, she immediately went out to where they are parked.

Unfortunately, Mr. Park was nowhere to be found until she saw a note on the windshield of the car.

Get inside the Starbucks store.

Amanda blew her then dry hair and tied it in a ponytail. With the bag in her grasp, she pulled the door and looked for Mr. Park.

She found him seated beside a window across their car.

She, then, sat across from him and soon enough, they were enjoying coffee and good food.

"Uh, baka pagod na po kayong magdrive, Sir." Amanda blurted out when they were back on the road.

It was almost ten o clock and his feet might be killing him already.

"Naah. I'm good." Mr. Park said and winked. "Just keep me entertained so that I won't sleep."

"Po?" Amanda asked again.

"Quit with the po. Do I look that old for you?" Mr. Park guffawed and smirked at her.

"Gaano pa ba tayo kalayo sa pupuntahan natin?" Amanda said changing the topic. "We have passed the city and trees and road has been kinda narrower at some point. Serial killer po ba kayo at may balak kayo sa akin?" Her eyes widened with realization and fear.

"Wtf!" Mr. Park laughed hilariously. "Mukha ba akong serial killer? Dapat una palang tayo nagkita, pinatay na kita!" He continued laughing as he said that.

Amanda blushed and shook her head.

"Sorry, Sir. Ayaw nyo kasi sabihin kung saan tayo pupunta. I am kinda curious po kasi. And, minsan lang din po ako makalabas kaya hindi pamilyar ang nakikita ko." Amanda answered with all honesty.

Mr. Park turned to her, his face serious.

"So, you are the obedient, studious type of woman? Bahay, eskwelahan, trabaho?" Mr. Park started to ask.

"Opo. Uh, yes." Amanda said her eyes on the road. "I live that way. and it's already always been my routine."

"Enlighten me, please." Mr. Park requested and Amanda found herself having fun opening up about her life with her boss.
